I'll never understand people who own a 6.0. You all must love dumping thousands into your trucks, including the 6.4. Worst diesels ever manufactured by a long shot. Second in line to the dirty max outside of year 2006/2007.
Motorcraft technician for over 30 years,nice truck nice video. Both right both wrong. Nobody knows what goes on behind camera true. We have upgraded standpipes and dummy plugs for this platform so yes while you are in there very good preventative maintenance. As far as nipple o-rings if they feel tight when you rock them DO NOT REPLACE! If they are sloppy and loose yes you must acquire special tool and replace with genuine Motorcraft seals and procedures.I have usually only seen this type of failure in manifolds that have had this done incorrectly.Keep the videos coming, love the 6.0 platform! Worked on hundreds of all platforms prefer this one over them all even scorpion engines or 7.3.👍😁

what part of the electronics did you disable when you tuned the truck? It doesn"t have the same key one sound when you are tuning the truck verse the sound the key on makes when you try to start the truck. Where does the ticking sound come from when you start the truck. Thank you, from a guy trying to tune his 6.0!!!!
Little trick of the trade, let that fuel pump run a few cycles before trying to fire gets all that fuel to the injectors it’ll roll over easier and you don’t need to crank and crank to get fuel up to the things

My truck made 30+ lbs with stick turbo and fuel, you should be making at least 40 and with those injectors you must be running stage 3 if it’s vgt, you should be seeing 50+ lbs boost on full fuel tube easy. Custom tunes go a long way lol
You need to take your truck to a better shop, standpipes and dummy plugs didn’t get replaced, didn’t reseal the nipples on the oil rail 🤦🏻♂️ factory map sensor maxes out at 28psi, you need a 6.4 100psi sensor and ebp sensor
I asked them not to replace them i was trying to keep my cost down on the video and there was really no big reason in me replacing them since i do not daily drive this truck. They do great work if you want to watch what they do go watch there youtube channel you cannot judge this automotive shop off of my content. there is also a lot of stuff off camera that goes on like replacing orings, connectors and stuff that i don't feel nesscesary to show in the video because it will bore the viewer.
Never ever replace nipple o rings on oil rails it’s people like you that give these trucks a bad wrap and how do you know what’s going on in the back ground and what’s edited out of the videos

That stock fuel pump isn’t supporting nearly the amount of fuel needed to maximize the potential of those injectors. Not to mention you need a regulated return.

Bro you need an EGT sensor and gauge. Plus you have to get a lift pump to supply those huge injectors. Preferably a stage 2 turbo also to maximize your AFR Change your oil frequently, all that unburnt fuel will dilute the oil and make you eat a lifter

Itll just be smokey. If your turbo aint enough to flow the air to burn all the fuel youll soot out. Use some nitrous or propane and max that turbo out. Every else will suffer/brake but itll make for a video or 2

Also forgot that these things run off oil rail pressure so if not bled they have a piss of a chance rolling over the first crank
