Hi bud. Thanks 😊👍 I didn't really like them when bought them, was more about lack of budget on a Fuch hunt, but have since fallen in love with them and wouldn't change now. Cheers for watching 😊👍
Wow! I will be using 944 steel rear arms on my beetle but with 993 calipers hopefully. I have adapter kit to buy to accomplish this. I also will be running cup2 porsche wheels if I can find them.
Awesome stuff sounds like a plan! 😊👍 Love the German Porsche Cup look, they used to be so cheap too, getting harder to find for sensible money now, tho can now get repro i believe. I didn't like teledials when bought them as wanted fuch, but were out of budget. Have fallen in love with them now tho. Best of luck and thanks for watching 😊👍
@@PeoplesCar Yeah the cup2 is getting expensive. I should have bought them years ago when they were cheap, alas, i had other priorities to attend to. I need to find some fast before i can't get the originals again.
If you aren't already using metal sintered pads, then they might further improve the bite of your front brakes. Organic pads don't have the same level of bite, and they will make the brake system feel like it is spongey.
Tbh I don't want any more bite on the front. Ideally the bias valve woukd be fitted and sending more to the rear. May consider some for the rear tho thanks for the hint. Do they go by a specific name? Tx for watching. 😊👍
Yes I agree. As mentioned in the vid most won't need this and should be able to lock those wheels if working as intended with a fairly stock bug, even on drums up front. Thanks for watching 😊👍
Greetings my friend! Nice disk brake conversion and with the Porsche Phone Dial wheels that’s classic! 👌🏽

Great technical vid again Al, don’t think I’d be doing that on my bug though
I like to try and keep things Interesting, and frustrating for myself 😅. Thanks for the kind words and for watching 👍
My 60-0 with disk brakes in front is 4.87sec
Oh wow thankyou for that! Your the first person to offer a 'stock' braking time, I expected it to be a little quicker. Amazing feedback Tx 😊👍

If your stock breaks are not locking up at full pedal press, you have a bigger problem.

@@PeoplesCar I enjoyed the video.
