That ol’ girl, it’s pretty amazing. It makes me happy when the car’s been sitting for 30 years and has left her junk. It’s still hasn’t get up and go take good care of her boys.❤😊
My eyes actually began welling up when ol girl came out. However, I ALWAYS enjoy that father and son bond that's appears to be GENUINE and not just for the camera. Keep up the AWESOME revivals!
A great little car, I had several back in the late 60's & 70's. I wish I still had a 1303S 1600cc that was a gem. Great to see you guy's saved another...A good runabout Christian! 👍
This is the first time I've been able to come on here and watch Restored since January. Henry would have loved to see this video. He loved Beetles because of you guys. Thank you for all you guys do, and making these videos. May God bless you guys so deeply. When I hear you say, "Fire right up!" I can hear my little bear say it. I miss him so much. God bless you all.
WOW!!! MY SON AND I LOVE THE FIRE IN THE HOLE( WHEEL) .. HA!!! GREAT... WHAT A GREAT A V/W WE NEED TO SEEEE PART 2 ,, SHE WANTS TO LIVE ,, THX. MAX 9 YR.S OLD AND DAD!!! PEACE...
Looks like a 1968 Beetle to me. My father owned one like this for years. I was the same off-white exterior color but had a Black interior. I hope you do a series restoring this car. I dig it. Interesting the shot of the interior at the end showed two gas guages. One in the speedo like a true 1968 and another in the dash like a 1967 or earlier would have. Looking forward to the next video.
I’ve watched you do several Beetles now. My first ride was a 76 Bug…it’s bringing me back in time. Thank you! I’m also considering finding an old one and doing this myself….. if the wife doesn’t kill me first.
In the 70’s I had beetle like this one in Africa (Kenya) and it never let me down except some rust. Love what you guys do especially father and son combination. God bless you all 😊
Hello from South Africa. This old girl brought back memories from the '70s when my brother drove a Beatle like that and you could always hear him come home from a distance. I believe it still had an 8-track tape player in that. We young people would always go to the drive-ins or picnics in it. People could not believe how many people could get into that car. I'd like to see you restore that old car to it's former glory.
Lance you and your dad can find those nests. Lol 😝 congrats on the VW start. Driving it home. You got a flip for sure. Just clean it up. Thanks for sharing!
I love those old Bugs! I learned to drive on a '68 Beetle. This car is a great one to completely restore. I know a lot of people would love to own a car like this because I'm one of them! I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with her. I really enjoy your channel. Thanks for the videos that you folks put out!
Wow, pretty darn amazing how easily you guys got it running! She looks to be pretty rust free too! A good wash job and steel wool on the bumpers and she's going to look mighty fine. The white interior looks to be in really nice condition as well.
What an amazing gift! I'd like work on one of these with my son. In today's disposable society, people need to remember how to fix things with their own hands.
Pretty clean for how long its been sitting. I have always loved the old bugs they are just hard to kill and with a little work run for about forever lol.
watching this episode of the VW Beetle, Iam really enchanted, I have a 1977 1300L Brazilian version, and I love these cars, please restore it to the original standard, it is worth a lot of money, here in Brazil it is very popular and loved by many people. Please don't dismantle this car, this Beetle is a tima capsule.
I've never been a big fan of VWs. They have a lot of down sides, but I have seen a LOT of "will it runs" on VWs and they always amaze me. I got a lot of respect for those little engines if not the cars.
I can see beetle has the same reputation in the US as it have in Brazil (where we calle it 'Fusca'). This Beauty is so easy to rebuild up, can be parked for years and still fire up. Old Volkswagen knew how to make it.
Hey Lance, Wyatt gr8 to see another fun interesting vid, you guys love your beetles. I'm partial to them too. What luck started gr8 runs gr8, like to see you guys do this one up over a couple of eps. Cheers always enjoy your vids , such fun/ informative. Let's keep saving old cars
Off subject but I been watching turnin rust on the 1952 GMC rebuild and am wondering is there going to be a final episode? Really excited to see the paint and the new engine put in it, love Love LOVE both your channels
Excellent video Wyatt :) , Lance :).Christina :) , nice Volkswagen Bug or Bettle car also free to get also fire up on motor, move out shed at home there and drive back to business you people run ! I like tire blow up beads on rim to with Ether Lol and blew up all tires too what air had in tank to! Well done and got job done ✔ 👍 👏 👌 💪 😀 ✔😮 !
partially fill the air tank with air by "borrowing" some from the truck tires. air will flow from a tire into a tank as well as it will flow out of tank into a tire. assuming there's no check valve. it's only the pressure differential that makes the air flow.
seeing one of those straight-bumpered beetles always surprises me. in that those were the NEW ones BITD and only the old ones with the over-riders on the bumpers and maybe an oval windowed one with tiny taillights were in that condition. haha
I bought that ones sister back in 1982 and she had her undercarriage rotted out from all those Berkshire winters but was still able to drive her down to St. Petersburg Florida and then across to Nashville, Tennessee and back to Massachusetts sometimes only with two gears lol
Please do quick cleanup video of this week! Power wash patina scrub. Kinda think it's gonna shine up so well you could paint match repaint hood and grill area behind it !
I'd love to find something like that. Always wanted a bug just to have. Meanwhile I spent 2k on my 91 Celica convertible...some jackass without insurance hit it 6mo after I bought it crumpling the back passenger quarter panel - that was back in '21. It still drives fine, but the back quarter needs completely replacing. Probably won't ever be able to get it fixed as any time I've found a yard within 500 miles with a good one, they never get back and I don't have 3k they've told me would be the minimum to fabricate it. Anyway...venting over...I love your all's content. I actually almost flew to TX back in '20 to look at a hyper blue BRZ, but the assholes sold it after I'd already been talking to them just as I was going to book tickets.
What a sweet deal. Clean out a rats nest, throw some gas in it, air up the tires (kind of) and off you go! That little bug looks like it will shine up pretty good! Have to wonder about that fire damage though! I’m sure you folks will figure it out. Look forward to seeing more of this little beauty! Thank You All for the Great video!
Took more time to clean out the mouse house than to get it running.. Just a little scrape of the points, starter fuel pump and carberater worked amazing.
That ol’ girl, it’s pretty amazing. It makes me happy when the car’s been sitting for 30 years and has left her junk. It’s still hasn’t get up and go take good care of her boys.❤😊
Dad is so gentle and patient!
My eyes actually began welling up when ol girl came out. However, I ALWAYS enjoy that father and son bond that's appears to be GENUINE and not just for the camera. Keep up the AWESOME revivals!
This was refreshing. It is nice when a free gift is a lot more than someone else's junk 🇨🇦

Agree. I had a '68.
even in that shape that's a gorgeous car. You just can't beat an old beetle.
Man, y'all made me smile tonight! I couldn't stop smiling as you drove that old bug through town. Y'all make me want another VW bug!
I’ve watched you do several Beetles now. My first ride was a 76 Bug…it’s bringing me back in time. Thank you! I’m also considering finding an old one and doing this myself….. if the wife doesn’t kill me first.
Man it’s good to watch yalls videos again.
the ether on the tyre was amazing
Good things happen to good people. God Bless.
Thanks for blessing us with another great video
What a win. Can't wait to see the clean up. Great video, thanks for sharing.
You gave new life to the old girl guys. With God's talent, giving you you anything is possible. God bless you guys.
In the 70’s I had beetle like this one in Africa (Kenya) and it never let me down except some rust.
Love what you guys do especially father and son combination. God bless you all 😊
Like music and great free car from barn.
Another beautiful little sleeping bug 🐞 in rather good original condition coming out of its sleep 🤩👍
Awesome video. Nice to see an old Bug get back on her wheels.

That's crazy how well it runs after sitting so long! Great job guys! Look forward to seeing it cleaned up n cruisin like Herbie again!
Belo trabalho , trazendo de volta a vida do VW , saudações do Brasil ....

Thanks for another guys !
Oooo she got a sunroof!
Pretty clean for how long its been sitting. I have always loved the old bugs they are just hard to kill and with a little work run for about forever lol.
What a real GEM!
Looks just like the ' 69 Beetle 1500 i owned , that was already very rusty by 1979 in the U.K so i'm amazed at how good this one is .
The ol girl is definitely in good hands! Cannot wait to see what you guys do with her!
The one thing I have always loved about these old bugs, they get the heck beat out of them and they keep on running !!
Great video. Awesome resurrection of an old beetle. If you ever decide to sell her, I might be interested.
Wow you got yourself a keeper. These earlier models are worth their weight in silver. I'd say gold. Volkswagens are getting their.
Great job and another great video 👍👍

Can't kill a beetle, those are great.
I do like a VW. Maybe you guys need a battery powered vacuum. Or a big blower!! Neatly done.
Працюють класно , приємно дивитись!
Ви найкращи!
Herbie rides again ! Great little car. A collectors item.
That's what they did with it, turned it into a herbie!
This was the intro video for me on your videos. I was a little jealous. Im a huge vw guy. I have a '70 bus.
I bought that ones sister back in 1982 and she had her undercarriage rotted out from all those Berkshire winters but was still able to drive her down to St. Petersburg Florida and then across to Nashville, Tennessee and back to Massachusetts sometimes only with two gears lol
Good job guys.
I’d love to drive that around town.
Please do quick cleanup video of this week! Power wash patina scrub. Kinda think it's gonna shine up so well you could paint match repaint hood and grill area behind it !
I'd grab that Beetle in a hot minute! Good job saving it.
I love these videos great content
I'd give a lot to have an old barn like that to work on cars in but the glass looks pretty good on that babe
A free Beetle?! That's awesome! I'd love to find one like this to fix up. Is this the one that became the Herbie tribute?
Keep The Lord first on all you do! Keep working hard and you’ll go far!
I'd love to find something like that. Always wanted a bug just to have. Neat old super beetle! it is asn early super beetle based on the flat windshield.. Great find!
I don't think that is a super beetle. It's a kool bug.

Nothin beats an old dub.
