Honestly, I couldn’t go back to work.
I just couldn’t go back to the workplace.
We know, ypu guys are allergic to work.
As a black woman, working from home during the Pandemic was NOT a refuge for me. My white supervisor rode my back the entire time, called me every 30 minutes and emailed me every hour, checked to see what I was doing on my lunch break, and monitored me like a microscope. I felt so harassed. Had to quit, then received Pandemic Unemployment. I would have never did this, if she would have just let me work from home and not harass me every minute. The lack of trust white people have with black employees is insane. So no, there is no escaping racism.
You might just be bad at your job or have a douche supervisor.
This is why it's difficult for black people to stay long-term at a company. Daily harassment and micro aggression from White, Asian and Indian coworkers. It's like living in hell.

As a black man in corporate management I worked for 2 years for an oil and gas company and was a top performer and fought going back to the office. Even though I was working till 10 at night due to limited resources and ppl leaving, My boss put a PIP on me and laid me off a day later and I felt great. I will never work full on-site again as I felt a massive drop in stress working from home as a black man
The fact you are black doesn't make this anything to do with being black lol... that was literally everyones take my guy. Quit trying to use your color as a victim shield.
I was getting microaggressions over zoom. I had to quit. It was unbearable.

I got mircroagressions from black ppl at work and i didn't know how to stop it so I quit!... I was the only Latina there and it was HARD...

I couldn't agree more with this video and its title. I hate working in corporate spaces with white people (no disrespect meant at all). I don't say this because of some trivial thing like appearance or race, but because of how the "system of white supremacy" works and how faithful and predictable white people act within it.
It’s amazing how blatantly racist they are but turn around and say racism isn’t real. They do it so that they can continue benefiting off of stepping on Black people in the work place.

I have endured so much racism in nursing. The white nurses have tried to pull my hair out. I have been yelled at and when I speak up they use boot licking black people against nay me. It is horrible because they trained me like I was a gerbil. I ended up wearing a scrub hat . Stopped getting my hair done. It makes me very angry dealing with this because they took away my right to get my hair done by trying to pull my hair out. Living amongst these people is a living hell.

Acting nasty is one thing and pulling you hair out is something else. That's called assault and it's pretty easy to fight legally, so you don't have to endure that... And if the law or authorities wont help, assemble a crew that's about putting in work and make those demons regret ever touching you. Some animals don't understand kindness or civility and only respond to brute force, violence or some other threat.

They want you to submit to them when they have the power. No submit then they will try and get rid of you. I have lost many of jobs, tons of good jobs, discriminated but even now they try but my work is good.

I've lived in Seattle since the 70's there is definite discrimination & against Black women in the work place I know this all too well, I was never afforded the chance to thrive in any work place but one thing I refuse to do is cower or be a shadow of anything b/c that wasn't fair to myself. You know its really too bad that it took George Floyds death for Seattle to wake the heck up!! I never had ANY kind of support from anywhere in all the years I lived in Seattle. As a result I struggled with employment. I now live out of state never felt comfortable even living in Seattle so at the first opportunity I left to go live with a friend & now I live in a place of my own. My mother soon followed after her husband passed away. Seattle is toxic. Always has been.
