"Deathwatch: Overkill" was the game. It's really good!
Thanks for the info! Never played it at the time.
@@TabletopImpulse Most people seem to have gotten the box just for the miniatures which is kind of a shame as the game mechanics are really good.
Its kind of an updated Space Hulk with more shooting and cards instead of blips that can be used to spawn or get special bonuses for the GSC.
This team looks really temting to me. I thought I allready have enough teams, but maybe not...
Never enough teams!
Loved the video. Going to be interesting when we see the rules drop on these.
Cheers Loz! :)
Great speculation video. I like the idea of them building off the regular Vet Guard paradigm, but then giving them a little GSC special sauce. Definitely feels like a 2 box team.
I bet the Patriarch will equate to 6 operatives, then you can drop the two warriors in the initial 10-man list + the extra 4 for skipping the ancillary support.
Could be could be.
I’m probably gonna pick up a Cadian Shocktrooper kit when I pick up my box from my game store.
Sounds like a plan, but you don't need to decide now we will get the rules spoiled online on saturday.
I wonder if you’ll be able to take all the special models, primus, magus, and patriarch with two familiars.
I doubt that.
The way I interpret the WarCom text seems like you get 10 troopers and 1 of the Magus/Primus/Patriarch. You do NOT get any Tactical Assets, and are NOT able to just take 4 extra bodies. As for the White Dwarf text, I bet the fact that he "picked" the 2 familiars is either a poor choice of words and that they automatically come with the Magus/Prums, or perhaps they are considered equipment for the Magus/Primus so he "picked" them?
I see where you are coming from, but the footnote explains the kinds of tactical assets available to the Brood brothers, lookouts and interference. This is not a refrence to the Vet Guard abilities.
@@TabletopImpulse I could totally be wrong, but I think that's a footnote to explain what Tactical Assets are to anyone who is not familiar with VetGuard. Just a guess though. You could absolutely be right. Speculation is fun!
I listened to the bit about your family and you are right...I should subscribe, so I did.
Cheers :D :D
Moar teams!!!
Never enough!
Can't wait
:)
I still think it could be core six plus bundles given the possibilities of the Patriarch’s mind control.
We will know in just a few days!
Ahh halfterm, you caught me out T.I. Missed the stream 😮
No don't worry Ollie, stream is tonight at the usual time!
Excellent, thankyou.
I like the look of this team, but I already have a Blooded KT and they just seem too similar for me to pick up this box.
The interesting part of that article is the second foot note. Is that hinting that this is the last box of the season?
Oh I feel quite sure this is the last box of the season.
You don’t seem very interested in the jaegers?
It's true, I am less interested in the Jaegers, but cheifly this video was inspired by the Warhammer Community article, they haven't done one all about the Jaegers yet.
