- Had the kids out the other day and Cash was not impressed because his sister caught all the fish. I decided to take him out one on one and show him that there really were fish in Big Horn lake.

Absolutely! A cool thing happened because we went out and showed him how to catch those fish. About a week later, he went out with the church group and was able to catch a nice bass on his own. He was pretty proud of himself and super excited. Hope you’re doing well!

So, are you fishing the Wyoming or Montana side of the lake?? I'm headed out on the 26th and I have a buddy with me who's interested in getting out on Sunshine, Meadowlark, etc...
Thanks buddy! We were fishing the Montana side this time. The lake is really muddy right now. I like fishing bass when you can see them. We had to really fish deep yesterday to find the fish. Most times you can catch them right off the top. It has been a weird year for sure. I would like to hit sunshine before winter with the boat. I just read the other day that they have golden trout in Meadowlark, which was interesting. They stocked some pretty good sized ones compared to other lakes. tight lines!
Nice trip. How did you get a youth away from the computer and outdoors?
He definitely is a gamer. He has kept me busy for the past decade playing baseball more than anything. I think he has caught a touch of the fishing fever and look forward to seeing how it plays out.
