Just another day on Big Horn Lake in Montana. If you are interested in any of the baits we used today, below is a link to my Etsy shop. Thanks! prospectoroutd...
HUGH!!!! Good to see a smile on that man’s face, gracing one of your videos again. What an awesome guy! Good on you Joe! I was smiling and giggling the whole video!
Thanks, Trent! I was super excited that he landed plenty of fish that day. It’s always neat to see the joy on someone else’s face when they have success like that. I still wish we could’ve landed that lake trout a couple years ago.
@@prospectoroutdoors Any Fishing video is better than no video!! Caught a few trout (Brook, Cutthroat, and Rainbow) at Meadowlark a couple of weeks ago. Hopper Dropper (brown and yellow hopper, Black Ant dropper) and it was 50/50 on which fly they wanted. No room to cast, so I got to practice my roll casting for a couple of hours. 👍
"Juvenile DT" hahaha! That was awesome bringing in that one for Hugh. Solid day on the lake landed some nice bass. Awesome lake. "It's been a great day!!" Best compliment of all.
Basically mile markers. I believe that means we were 37 miles from the dam. It’s kind of a long lake with very few canyons. www.nps.gov/bica/images/Bighorn-Canyon-Boating-Map_2.jpg
I thought that first fish was your lure. I have a hard time believing you could ever run out of plastics. What was that sign that said 37 on the cliff all about? That place is a smallmouth factory. Hugh was definitely spoiled.
Thanks for sharing, Joe!

Thanks for taking us along, Joe!!
Absolutely! Sorry about the lousy camera angle.

@yamati150 sounds like a great time! That’s why I don’t fly fish much. I’m always getting tangled up and I don’t have the patience for it sometimes.

Hugh is always a pleasure to be around. I was so happy to see him have success on the end of the line.
That 1st lure looked so real, like a real fish (2 inch lure/fish) nice
For sure! 😂
Some sweet plastics! Cool when you can start dialing in the small details.
Thanks 😊
I definitely enjoy learning from trip to trip.

Your nieces are excited to experience some of their Uncle Joe’s hobbies.
Let’s go!
