  • Abs... How many conversations around abs, exercises for it, appearance and all that! Dear friends, in today's workout we will do a set of exercises that I like most so that our abs become even better. As usual, my workout is adjusted to dancers' needs or those people who strive to look like a dancer. This is not abs workout for beauty, weight loss, or good mood. It's for all these plus the creation of a dancing body that can run, jump, pirouette for several hours in a row and - smile, rejoice, receive energy from the audience and give it back.     I find the two leg V Ups very hard - so I do one leg at a time, as you showed in a prior video

    Very good, demanding workout with perfect execution. Maria, You are my inspiration for doing gymnastics, although I know I will never reach level comparable with Yours. I am not discouraged by the fact that I have to skip some exercises.
    Anyway going on with trainings causes that I will be more fit than I am now. I admit that I've skipped three exercises from this workout which seem hard for me.
    Maria, during this workout You questioned about music.
    Of course for strength or cardio workout energetic music (rock or rhythmic synthwave) is suitable. On the other hand for stretching exercises relaxing music is good for me.
    This is a list of my currently favourite music tracks being the background for gymnastics. Maybe it will be useful for someone...

    Could do all of them esp. the plank knees …. this time 😇. Was sweating by the end of the repeat sequence 😅. Fully agree that abs can be done anytime and independently of other exercises. I like the “before bed” abs routine as it keeps me warm and in shape for next am. I try to do them twice a day. Nice music and rhythm . 🙏💖🙋🏻‍♀️🇬🇧

    I added weights in my hands and hip bands around my feet or knees to make it harder. It almost killed me. My abs are on 🔥

    I think this ab killer exercise is called "jacknife crunch" , how did you train yourself to do it ? I couldn't lift both my legs and back up.😅

    Should you do this workout every day? I did the whole challenge 2 days in a row but my stomach muscles are slightly sore today so I'm wondering if I should do the exercises on sore muscles?
