Love Mike Chi and Voultar and hate the way they've been treated by Pixelfx but at the same time I've been waiting for a PS2 HDMI mod for over a decade so I'm still getting the GEM
Who cares about the drama? All this cancel culture crap going on is so nauseating. If someone has a good product that works and they support well, then I don’t give a 💩 what drama is out there.
@@astrovewlixThis is hardly cancel culture. Pixelfx slagged off Mike Chi on several occasions so why should fans of his products continue to support Pixelfx?
@@astrovewlix TIL that 'people calling out PixelFX for making libelous public statements in order to try and harm their competition' is cancel culture, and not, y'know, holding people accountable for bad behavior.
Just throwing out that there are HDmI cables made by Retro Gaming Cables in the Uk that are tink powered. They have multiple versions including ones with multiout connectors. I use one on my snes jr to get RGB out
The 8bitdo receiver is just PS1. It's only compatible with PS2 but is not a PS2 receiver. Why? It does not support pressure sensitive buttons which is a PS2 feature. This is also the reason it does not support the Dualshock 3 which is pressure sensitive compatible A firmware update may change this though.
They should just put the splitter on the unit. We know how many retro consoles there is. Usual NES, SMS, SNES, Genisis, PSX maybe Saturn. There are a few more as well. IDK. I am waiting for them to come out. Will pick up the winner after wards. Kinda lack money at the moment. In the savings. Something to upgrade the framemeister. Doing ok. IDK lg c1 is 4k so if it's native 4k res, the tv won't need to upscale it right? IDK. Whatever., Video's are cool.
Doesn’t have anything to do with the video but does have to do with retro modding news, why hasn’t anyone put out diy videos regarding blueretro internal installs using esp32?
The company’s name is pronounced “8Bit-doo” rather than “-doh”. They made a portable speaker years ago that sang the name when you turn it on and someone went to their booth at E3 and asked them to pronounce their name and both the speaker and the CEO pronounced it “-doo”
For the most part I like your content. I watch your videos to catch up on stuff I may have missed. But sometimes your lack of understanding on certain things just gets on my last nerve. GBA macro mode, means only the bottom screen of the DS would display on the TV, when playing GBA games. I have no Idea what you got from the text, but that's what they meant
Cmon man, its a huge amount of news all the time and he's doing a ridiculously good job of highlighting it all and providing insight all things considered. He's more than earned the courtesy of people respectfully correcting him in these situations, and not these kinds of comments, wouldnt you say?
Hope you had fun at the expo! Ill be there next year!
Thank you for your work! My main source of news in retro modding!
Thanks for watching!
Okay, that picture of Jeff Bridges cracked me up 😂
Great update, so much content

Care to elaborate?
@@RMwasherePixelfx have been slandering Mike Chi on twitter and they blocked Voltaur for defending Mike.

That picoboot project looks awesome
Why did 8bitdo not make a black dongle for PS2?
DS consoler would be so good then only a 3ds and we rocking!
A DS Lite consolizer sounds great 👍

Really wish Mike Chi would fix original xbox games on the Retrotink 5x. They're always heavily cropped in the Generic 16:9 mode

Electron Shepherd > PixelFX
How? Electron Shephered's HDMI mods don't have any scaling
@@MichaelM28 They're not owned and managed by douche nozzles
@@MichaelM28 Scaling from HDMI mods is no longer needed now that 4K scalers with HDMI inputs are coming out.
