Everyone some excellent in their role, and Denzel Washington was suburb in the movie. The director captured everything in each scene. Both series 1& 2 were awesome movies!

Has a solid moral compass, and plays characters that should empower people to be united with compassion towards each other, for protection of our elderly(wise) along with our innocence (youth)...Be a Shepard, and break the wolves! Love you all with every breath!
His character fits what Spider-Man said “when you can do the things I can do and you don’t, and the bad things happen...they happen because of you.”

I believe Richard Wenk, Antoine Fuqua and the team they are part of for this movie are sitting on a gold mine with a super "every day" hero using an amazing skill set and whose values refer to real life situations everybody can relate to. The absence of a multitude of special effects is a relief adding depth and meaning to the suffering american cinema. Denzel may not go for 4-5-or more sequels and/or prequels but then again if the scenarios are oscar-winning contenders...or box office hits.

@@enricovankeeken9503 There is a saying "Living according to your knowledge". Robert McCall is such a guy. He did experience what bad stuff is. It deeply scratched his soul’s hard disc; no erasing it. Democracy needs to teach politicians to live accordingly to what they know and not just the tricks useful to get away with murder. Easy to say, real hard to do because it involves human dignity. Sorry to mention things you already know.

Man I absolutely love this type of movie with ordinary everyday good guy protagonist . Compared to these SJW's , gender pushing rubbish that's being shoved in our faces nowadays. Don't get me wrong , I'm not against female badassary but when the action sequence defies physical reality and body mechanics of a tiny woman throwing large built male for the purpose of a strong feminists agenders , it's just offputting you can tell that it's not appealing by the flops in the box office with over the top female leads and protagonists and skripts that contain female spitting on male agenda . These types of master pieces are like rain in the sahara but when it finally rains , its so refreshing. And that can't be beat period . 👏👏👏 we need more of this types of Golden standerd masterful creation .👍

I have to say, I initially watched this movie because Denzel was in it and he didn't disappoint. However, Marton Csokas is the reason I've watched it an additional 10 times. I love a good villain!
Your right he is an intense actor who plays an excellent villain... his brief brutal fight scene in Jason Bourne movie was historic.

We need more Denzel Washington’s in this world. He’s great as an actor and person.
So few actors refuse to take God’s name in vain and swear gratuitously. Denzel is one that has a personal code against profanity. When a character swears, I turn off the movie - walk away.

When this first came out it was my introduction to Marton Csokas who's screen presence was unforgettable in this movie. I love just about all of Denzel's movies and Marton Csokas played one of the best villains that year.
Marton Csokas was genius good to the extent that made me shiver everytime he appeared on the screen.
He gave the impression of being devil human by just eye look, gait walking, way of talking, facial expression without single act of true violence.
Denzel is a myth a legend a artiste, he takes me on a fantastic journey through any movie he's in, he is just superb.
That conversation they have in the diner always breaks my heart.
Don't get me wrong, I am totally team Denzel but I would have loved to hear more about "Teddy" (Marton Csokas). I think he was a great villain. I like this movie because of Marton as much as Denzel.
I think Marton is such a great actor. I watched him in "Into the badlands"...he made me like a villain 😂 for the first time ever as "Quin"

My favorite movies (1 and 2). I just wonder how it must have been after they finished everything and watched the final movie, thinking "look at what we did". This movie is a masterpiece.
These were some of the very best of the best movies I've seen in a long, long time. Denzel Washington is a rare actor indeed. Even though you know it's a movie and all choreographed, he makes it look and feel organic and real.
If there were more actors like Denzel, Hollywood wouldn't be so starved for a decent blockbuster.
Marton is still intimidating even in real life he's still keep that same vibe he did in the movie and real life that's scary and unpredictable lol

It's my favourite movie and yet, watching this, I've realised I have been guilty of underestimating it. The class, wisdom and a sense of style that both Denzel and Antoine brought to the table, oh my..
The making of this movie is just as entertaining as the actual film. The director is a sophisticated intellectual. He knows his business. Denzel is powerful in “Macbeth” as well.

They should make a third movie! The first was better than the second. I thought the second got a little corny towards the last half/ end of movie . I like the dark night time setting of the first movie and the villain in the first movie was tremendous!
I know Denzel is not making or appearing in the sequel. The equalizer was an exception. It would be nice if there were 3 episodes, but it will probably be difficult.😥

There needs to be a movie that shows "how" became the Equalizer...like from his childhood on....
That would require a younger actor, perhaps, his son John-David and Denzel both can play in the movie. The way DeNiro and Pacino did in Godfather 2.

The scene Robert watched the girl was hit by the bad guys and he didn’t do anything about it does not make sense. He should easily stop that and penalize the bad guys right there and then.

There was once a big tv show in Germany on Saturday evening. Prime time. 22 million viewers. Big stars. Michael Jackson was there. Madonna. Michael Douglas. Paul McCartney.
So one evening when that show was in Cologne Denzel came to late because his plane from Paris landed to late due to fog. So Denzel took a regular taxi cab at Cologne airport and the driver drove him to the studios where the show was already on air. At about 9pm the taxi stopped at the first security guard. He didn't knew Denzel. He asked for his name and Denzel said i am Denzel Washington and i am invited to the show. So the guard took his walkie talkie and asked. Then the other guard screamed on the entrance door into his w-t yeah we are waiting for him he is already late. So the guard let them pass and Denzel was always calm and friendly. He even gave his signature to this guard then when leaving at 11pm. So it seems like he is an ordinary guy off the camera. He doesn't behave like a super star.

I think the movie director is very good with the detail knowledge it makes the movie very realistic and the unparalleled star Denzel Washington brings the movie to life. I like the movie so much that I look back and watch it many times.

Denzel is the type of man who could make Hollywood great again. He's not egotistical, just a good moral man who doesn't play the race card and puts the blame where it belongs, on each of us, and on family life, and being an example to others about the problems we have with race, gangs, drugs, etc. he has good insight about life and people, and an honor to admire as an actor and as a man. He is someone you could admire and be honored to have as a friend. I hope he's around much longer to give us more great movies, for many years he never received credit for his amazing talents and kindness as a human being,

I love Denzel in thus role he plays it to a tee. The person that played in tv series I loved him too. But Denzel takes it to another level. He cool in this role.
