If anyone could respectfully document this home it is you Ethan. What an incredible home so well built and well maintained. Don’t think it could be duplicated today. So many features to love, the old hardwood floors, all the trim and doors and old light fixtures and the staircase and the old kitchen. Those bathrooms despite being old were well preserved. Even though interesting to see that second bathroom, modern plumbing is a must. It’s interesting that when so many more recently built homes have flooded basements, this over 100 yo home doesn’t seem to have suffered from whatever made the newer ones flood. This home even more than so many others deserves to be saved and preserved. I live in a small town that has many greater than century old homes that have been restored and preserved and are much sought after. Thank you for this amazing exploration. Take care be well and stay safe Ethan. Have you ever watched the older film “A Night to Remember”? It’s even more haunting than any other Titanic film I’ve seen. Some people have been so fascinated that they would spend a quarter of a million dollars just for a close up glimpse, God rest their souls.
Alot of history in that one old home. Hope they save and restore it and share the history of it for future generations. Thanks, Ethan. It was Beautiful.
wow, what an amazing house! sad that the owner wants to tear it down. i hope it doesnt happen as this is a piece of history. glad no graffiti or damage either. thank you for sharing this, really enjoyed it
Wow Ethan Great job finding this Beautiful house😍I don't see or even know why anyone would want to tear this down🤦♀️ I hope people will save such a Historical house with an Historical background.. Props to you finding this and better yet showcasing it to us, your viewers...
I'm fascinated with the Titanic as well. My heart hurts for those lost and the families that were left behind. I keep up with the wreck and it's amazing how it's going to be gone soon. Thank-you for showing us this house. It's beautiful.
A great house ! I love the "trippy room" next to the out house thats in the house. That bathroom was transitional for sure. How could anyone tear this house down ? The architectural details alone make it worth saving ! Thank you for sharing !
She's a beauty all right. Breathtaking. Just wow Ethan. Can't tear down this beauty. I hope it gets protection. Love that old bathroom. I'm a big Titanic nerd too Ethan. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
This wonderful old home has a fascinating history and should be preserved for future generations. How sad that the grown children of the couple who built it never got to see it. Great job telling their story, Ethan. The first house I ever lived in was built in 1905 so I really appreciate this type of architecture.
My early years were also spent in an old house. It was 160 years old back in 1965. I was told that my Great Grandpa Doug (who worked on it) was a genius and jack-of-all trades. What craftsmen they were in those days.
Love this historic home with its timeless aura. Can't help but be mesmerized by its original woodwork and connection to The Titanic. Pray that it is still standing.
This house is incredible. I was/am also obsessed with the Titanic so this house is especially interesting! The detail and woodwork is amazing. This house should absolutely be preserved.
That is a great house. So many original details. I love the ceiling medallions. I don’t think the ceiling fans would be original though, they may not have had electricity at the time it was built. I’m surprised that you didn’t point out the milk door in the first kitchen, low on the outside wall. Very handy for getting your milk delivered very early in the morning and not having it sit on the steps until someone got up. Also prevented the milk from freezing in the winter. I hope they don’t let it get torn down.
i already can tell this will be awesome 📷📸 Ethan . Ethan if you are into titanic , hopefully someday you can travel to the titanic museum here in America .i agree so much character and so much history to this house what an incredible amazing video this was Ethan thank you very much appreciated
This is amazing. I wish the local historical society could save it... I toured the Molly Brown house in Denver and was mesmerized. I was very interested in the Titanic, I have printed original news articles about the event as well as the court proceedings. Even bought a cook book based on what was served on that maiden voyage. This home is beautiful! Molly Brown House was unchanged, but sadly rooms were blocked off that we were not allowed to view.
Many years ago I lived near the Molly Brown house and this one reminded me of it. Seems to me this town could do the same kind of thing that Denver has done and make some money while preserving the past. I can't imagine what kind of person buys something like this just to tear it down.
Such a sad story. How could anyone tear that house down to put up another generic monstrosity. I hope the preservation people win this battle. The house is beautiful and a piece of history.
Hi, my name is Bonnie and I made easier a young I'm so excited to you. I grew up in a house like this as a child. A little different a little bit the same. This house has so much character a dignity between the wood. I'm not quite sure what you call the stuff on the ceiling, but that's absolutely incredible, The way they built houses back then was absolutely a works apart. It's truly a shame that's going to be torn down breaks my heart. But once you do to your videos, you bring houses back to life and make them live again. They breed love and they see what you're doing. All the angels in heaven are looking down upon you for the respect that you show these how. Sharing their lives to the world that we would have never known. People loved laughed probably argued. Paid bills cooked clean in these homes. And you bring everything right back. Thank you for the respect you give. I only wish my old house was standing in Atlantic City. Thank you once again I truly love your videos love always bonnie❤
How incredible that you were able to document something tied to an interest you have! It’s quite a shame that this wonderful piece of history is even being considered for demolition. Thanks for sharing the history of this beautiful home. Please keep us apprised of the outcome of its future.
I too have always such a strong obsession for the Titanic and it's story since I first learned of it when I was young. Seeing the wonderfully crafted film on the big screen, was amazing and really added even more to the fascination. How extraordinary this home is!! This home should be deemed worthy of protection and preservation based on the superb quality of craftsmanship alone! The direct and fascinating story of its connection with such a historical event makes it even more so!! Thanks for sharing!😀✌️
This location was beautiful. The architecture and the features were pretty incredible. Hopefully this house will be allowed to stand and be respected, as locations like this rarely survive. This lovely one deserves to be left alone. Thank you for sharing this one.
Spectacular!!! What an incredible home!!! Thank you for these minutes of fascination. This is my favorite genre of homes, anyway, but never have i witnessed such fine workmanship and imagination.
Ethan is this place still standing? If not, it's such a shame. God Bless you for all you do. This is my second time watching this. Just can't get enough.😊❤
What an absolutely beautiful house, with a little bit of work,a family could move in. Hopefully it won't be knocked down. Here in the UK we have lost so many old and marvellous houses,to be replaced with rabbit hutch homes.. Thank you Ethan for bringing us this great home,a true piece of history. 👏
Wow, OMG, been a long time follower of Titanic, since the movie & now with the recent disaster of the sub, even more so.. House is gorgeous, so hope plans to save it. Know the handsome guy at 6:26? Wonder if passenger was survivor or lost at sea?
That is a beautiful home! I've always been interested in the Titanic also. Wouldn't it be wonderful to have some type of relic from it? This house definitely needs to be saved.
What a beautiful and amazing house. It is always interesting what stories belong to these abandoned houses. Thanks for another fantastic video that I enjoyed very much. Have a great weekend and Happy Canada Day Ethan. 🇨🇦💖
Even though this video is a year old, it came across my feed and it looked interesting to watch. Love this type of house as well as the very tragic story. Thank you for another one! Hope they can save this one.
OK #1 I'm obsessed with Titanic too, even went in one in Florida that was made to look like it. #2 thank you for sharing this house, I felt like I was on one of those tours #3 no brainer someone needs to make it a historic house with old furniture ect & have people pay to tour it. Easy one! Thanks again Ethan!!!
I both loved and despised this house…..LOVED the first floor until the kitchens….despised the way they did not match the flooring when adding new. The paint was horrific upstairs. First thing I’d do is take down the ceiling fans and replace them with time-appropriate lights. Sooooo much potential. Thank you for taking us on this journey, Ethan.
Amazing shape this house is in. How beautiful. I how this house gets saved, maybe you should try and get it. Thanks for your working to find us these houses, love your videos 💕🏡
This home is absolutely gorgeous thank you for sharing history of it. Love the upstairs bathroom first one it beautiful. I hope they can save it from being torn down. Thanks again for sharing it have a great and safe 4th of July 😊
Some people used a 2nd kitchen (in this case perhaps original one) to fo their canning of fruits and vegetables, etc...with the mud/sun room in the back. Great house! Thx for sharing.
This is an amazing home with so much history to be preserved . it was such a needless tragedy and this home should be a reminder of this tragedy. He who forgets history tends to repeat. The moulding , and architecture of this home, the built in cabinets , fireplace , mantle , staircase, sunroom , the antique bathtub, toilet. and the toilet built into the wooden cabinet. I loved the old cook stove in the original kitchen was priceless . The modernized kitchen was probably added by the last owner because the original kitchen was too small for the modern convience. The old stove is a classic and historical addition to be preserved . I too like so many other people have read many books on the Titantic about the real people that lost their lives that fatal night. God rest their souls. Thank you Ethan for showing us the piece of history at this time. The people that lost their lives in the submarine that paid big money to go down and see the Titantic were relatives of someone that lost their life on the Titantic. Sadly true.
Happy to see another historic home. Love your affection for the old ones Ethan. The stove in the first kitchen wasn't old. It was an electric reproduction. But they look so real! Now, I know you don't like attics, but where was there attic access? Didn't see it. Once more, thanks Ethan!
Hey Ethan, between the stunning architecture of this home & its historic significance it absolutely needs to be saved & restored to its former glory!!! 👍👍🏣
The house alone, even without a connection to the Titanic, needs to be saved. Historic places need to be preserved and respected.

Please keep us up-to-date if the people of the town were able to save the home from being torn down. Thanks.
Wow, that home is beautiful. My home is 123 years old. I love and appreciate older homes especially homes with history.
Alot of history in that one old home. Hope they save and restore it and share the history of it for future generations.
Thanks, Ethan. It was Beautiful.

Me too! I wonder what the value of this house is??
Why so obsessed?

THAT would be a perfect place for me....if it was repainted .it's gorgeous
Beautiful house I can't believe they will tear it down great video Ethan
Strip all that wood of paint and back to its original form and this house would be even more beautiful!
Such a sad story. How could anyone tear that house down to put up another generic monstrosity. I hope the preservation people win this battle. The house is beautiful and a piece of history.

WOW. What I wouldn’t give to have the means to purchase and preserve this gorgeous house. It’s perfect.
Very very old school and you will hit 100k I never seen a colorful roof like that that’s different
Fabulous! I hope it can be saved. Great job E!
Is this for sale??! Historically this needs to be restored!🙌🏽
Happy to see another historic home. Love your affection for the old ones Ethan. The stove in the first kitchen wasn't old. It was an electric reproduction. But they look so real! Now, I know you don't like attics, but where was there attic access? Didn't see it. Once more, thanks Ethan!
You find some very unique houses. When I saw the Cookstove I also went wow.
For those of us who love houses… the best part is to see the flow of the house.. starting in the front door!
Hey Ethan, between the stunning architecture of this home & its historic significance it absolutely needs to be saved & restored to its former glory!!! 👍👍🏣
I love the house especially the history so sad that two children lost there lives on the titanic 💔 I just watched the movie last night.
The stove is not old, just meant to look old. There are knobs for the burners.
I’m a Titanic fan as a fan of yours and this episode was really really cool.
