A lot of people seemed to have missed the entire thing about the last Jamie/Cersei scene. She was bluffing him out to get him back in line. But he called the bluff, and it was also his last straw with her - and it was clear based on why he was walking away, that he was REALLY walking away, she instantly knew she fucked up hard, and it was immediately dawning on her that she was alone. The music was amazing here and it's one of my favorite scenes of the whole show.

Since this episode aired, there have been a few speculations as to how Dany would react to the news that Jon, and not her is the true heir to the throne, but even if there is a universe where that would have mattered, all of that it moot if they have a baby together, making their child the next heir regardless.. convenient, but I like it.

Tyrion was hanging around outside Dany's room because he's probably worried that now that she has fallen in love with Jon (and took some seductive backshots from him)... she won't be listening to his advice as much as she will listen to Jon, next season. His position as 'Hand of the Queen' has now been seriously weakened. Maybe permanently.

I also thought it might be because he fears her dying in childbirth (pretty common in this time, all 3 of their mothers did), since they gave us repeated foreshadowing from Tyrion about Dany's death. Love is a distraction either way, and Tyrion *really* is banking everything he has on Daenerys' success.
Roger Black I don't think it gets much weaker than losing Dorne, the Tyrells, and Yara's Ironborn, in short order. Not to mention the "cunning plan" (in the Blackadder sense) that lost one of her dragons and recruited to the War Against The Dead a grand total of _ one Jaime Lannister. (At best, I suppose it's possible to hope that Bronn, and maybe a few Lannister troops disenchanted with life under Cersei, may ultimately follow him, particularly if they witnessed the wight in the Dragonpit.) I live in Houston and most of my city is currently underwater. Sunday night my house was filled with water right below the knee and I STILL managed to watch GoT season finale because I was not gonna miss it for NOTHING lol and I wasn't disappointed. A few weeks earlier, a script leaked and it said Jon and Dany would have sex on a boat and I didn't want to miss it lol. And seeing LF squirm like the snake he is was too satisfying, especially watching Arya kill him. And to see the Night King riding the undead Viserion while he spit liquid nitrate and destroyed the wall just took me right out the game. I am most definitely ready for season 8.
I don't think the whole wall fell down. Just a portion around Eastwatch (including Eastwatch castle itself). Castle Black, where the Night Watch actually are is much farther to the west closer to where Winterfell also is. The army of the dead is headed that way, obviously, but the easiest place on the wall for them to breach was always going to be EastWatch by the Sea since that's where the Wall terminates right beside the sea, and is theoretically the thinnest part.
Cbricklyne Jon said that if the Night King broke through, the next castles in his path would be Karhold and Last Hearth. Jon let the Karstarks and Umbers (respectively) keep their castles: I know he was just being, well, Jon _ but in fact this turns out to be a "kindness" worthy of Tywin Lannister. ;-)

Every time I re-watch Game of Thrones all the way through, I watch your videos along with it. Please, please, PLEASE tell me y'all are gonna get back together and react to the final season in April.
FYI, throughout the history of the nobility the world over, it has been normal to marry some pretty close relations for political reasons (a shallow dating pool for supposed royal/noble blood). 1st cousin marriage was more common, but avunculate marriage (aunt to nephew, uncle to niece) _did_ in fact happen, including in Europe, and including around the time of the Wars of the Roses (Late Middle Ages, in the latter half of the 15th century), which Game of Thrones is partially based on. Avunculate marriage in some countries (Catholic ones, at least) required a papal dispensation (a religious exemption, probably when there were no other suitable candidates. The royals/nobles and the church knew that these marriages were pushing the boundaries of what was a good idea, for babymakin'). These closely related marriages only fell out of favour in western societies after advances in class mobility. So there's some permission for you, to 'ship the Boat Sex 😂. Also, Targaryens are like, not entirely human, having magic dragon blood or whatever, and they have to have babies with each other to preserve that. So... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Anyway, if you want to go down a speculation rabbit hole about what will happen in season 8, consider reading about the Wars of the Roses in English history, for possible clues. This is a confirmed-by-GRRM inspiration for the books. See, this poses a problem for Tyrion- because if Dany finds out that Jon has more legitimacy in gaining the Iron Throne, also, her nephew, it would create conflicts between the two- not necessarily for Dany, because it's like "Family Tradition" to marry their own siblings; but for Jon Snow, who only knew he was Jon Snow, how's he supposed to accept all of that? This is a problem for Tyrion because Dany needs Jon as a sort of back-up, also to be her possible babydaddy, and the fact that nephew-and-aunt are getting it on, would look bad for the people of Westeros, who don't like that sort of thing, because it'd remind them of the famous Lannister couple.

Personally killing little finger was a stupid move. When Robin hears about it they'll no longer back the north in the wars to come. Meaning that it'll be the iron fleet, The Lannister armies, the knights of the vale and the golden company vs the remaining forces of the north and Danny's army after they fight the night king (If they defeat him that is). Yeah nah kind of a stupid move if you ask me
Don't forget, there was a magic spell on the Wall that didn't allow the undead through. That's what Uncle Ben said. But Bran being the little willful child he was went on a walkabout without the Three Eyed Raven and came across the Night King and got marked. Now the Night King and his army can go anywhere Bran has been. They broke the magical sanctuary and now they have broken through the Wall. The two most influential people in this whole story are Little Finger and Bran, both responsible for fucking shit up. One on purpose and the other because he was raised to be a spoiled little shit who doesn't fucking listen. I hope Tormund is OK. I don't ship Brienne with the Hound and Jamie is the Prince that was Promised and so will die in the final battle with the Night King.
I don't know if you noticed or if anyone has pointed it out yet, but the Mountain doesn't even have his own head anymore. It was changed out for a dwarf's head, one that was brought to Cersei when she put a bounty on Tyrion. So what you were saying about the Mountain not even being himself anymore is even more true than you realized. Still, though, the Hound wants revenge for what the Mountain did to him.
It is The Mountain's head. The dwarf's head brought to Cersei vaguely resembled Tyrion and the bounty hunters even slashed the face to give it a scar. Qyburn is not a necromancer, just a very skilled healer. He drained The Mountain's poisoned blood and gave him a blood transfusion, not a head transplant.

ONE big problem eliminated. We can't have Little Finger doing his scheming while there's a Night King to the North and a Mad Queen to the South. Arya did it nice and quick like but in such a way that Little Finger would suffer a while and contemplate his errors. Part of me wanted the death to be a secret one where Arya took his face, but I think this is better so that the army of the Veil will not feel wronged. They now realize Petyr Baelish was in the wrong. I only hope Robyn Arryn will understand. Especially because IMHO he's the son of Lysa and Petyr.

FYI, throughout the history of the nobility the world over, it has been normal to marry some pretty close relations for political reasons (a shallow dating pool for supposed royal/noble blood). 1st cousin marriage was more common, but avunculate marriage (aunt to nephew, uncle to niece) _did_ in fact happen, including in Europe, and including around the time of the Wars of the Roses (Late Middle Ages, in the latter half of the 15th century), which Game of Thrones is partially based on. Avunculate marriage in some countries (Catholic ones, at least) required a papal dispensation (a religious exemption, probably when there were no other suitable candidates. The royals/nobles and the church knew that these marriages were pushing the boundaries of what was a good idea, for babymakin'). These closely related marriages only fell out of favour in western societies after advances in class mobility.
So there's some permission for you, to 'ship the Boat Sex 😂. Also, Targaryens are like, not entirely human, having magic dragon blood or whatever, and they have to have babies with each other to preserve that. So... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Anyway, if you want to go down a speculation rabbit hole about what will happen in season 8, consider reading about the Wars of the Roses in English history, for possible clues. This is a confirmed-by-GRRM inspiration for the books. Not every event and person is cloned precisely, of course, but House Stark is loosely based on the House of York, House Lannister is loosely based on the House of Lancaster. I haven't seen confirmation of this, but I suspect the Targaryens are partly based on the House of Tudor, which ultimately made a claim on the throne based on a legitimized, maternal line relationship to the House of Lancaster, after the Wars of the Roses were over and the House of Lancaster went extinct, and ushered in the English Renaissance. The House of Tudor originated from Wales (the Welsh flag is a *red dragon* on a green and white field), and trace back to the Tudors of Penmynydd (notably, Owen Tudor's coat of arms has *three heads* (helmets) on it). The Targaryen sigil is a *red dragon with three heads.* Henry VII, the first Tudor king, married Elizabeth of York, uniting the warring factions under the new Tudor dynasty. See, this poses a problem for Tyrion- because if Dany finds out that Jon has more legitimacy in gaining the Iron Throne, also, her nephew, it would create conflicts between the two- not necessarily for Dany, because it's like "Family Tradition" to marry their own siblings; but for Jon Snow, who only knew he was Jon Snow, how's he supposed to accept all of that? This is a problem for Tyrion because Dany needs Jon as a sort of back-up, also to be her possible babydaddy, and the fact that nephew-and-aunt are getting it on, would look bad for the people of Westeros, who don't like that sort of thing, because it'd remind them of the famous Lannister couple.

Personally killing little finger was a stupid move. When Robin hears about it they'll no longer back the north in the wars to come. Meaning that it'll be the iron fleet, The Lannister armies, the knights of the vale and the golden company vs the remaining forces of the north and Danny's army after they fight the night king (If they defeat him that is). Yeah nah kind of a stupid move if you ask me

But Bran being the little willful child he was went on a walkabout without the Three Eyed Raven and came across the Night King and got marked. Now the Night King and his army can go anywhere Bran has been. They broke the magical sanctuary and now they have broken through the Wall. The two most influential people in this whole story are Little Finger and Bran, both responsible for fucking shit up. One on purpose and the other because he was raised to be a spoiled little shit who doesn't fucking listen.
I hope Tormund is OK. I don't ship Brienne with the Hound and Jamie is the Prince that was Promised and so will die in the final battle with the Night King.

I don't know if you noticed or if anyone has pointed it out yet, but the Mountain doesn't even have his own head anymore. It was changed out for a dwarf's head, one that was brought to Cersei when she put a bounty on Tyrion.
So what you were saying about the Mountain not even being himself anymore is even more true than you realized. Still, though, the Hound wants revenge for what the Mountain did to him.
It is The Mountain's head. The dwarf's head brought to Cersei vaguely resembled Tyrion and the bounty hunters even slashed the face to give it a scar. Qyburn is not a necromancer, just a very skilled healer. He drained The Mountain's poisoned blood and gave him a blood transfusion, not a head transplant.
