So are the Andels the Angelo-Saxons? Based on appearances, Aegon and the houses from Old Valyeria more resembles the viking based Angelo-Saxons and the establishment of the Dane Law

I really hope that House of the Dragon continues on, in a way, after the Dance of Dragons to expand on the rest of the the Targaryen rule of Westeros, particularly covering the the most important of the Blackfyre Rebellions, such as the first and last, and perhaps even Robert’s Rebellion where we can get a full scope of the conflict that brought down the rule of Dragons through a Mad King and a Prophesy-obsessed Prince.
house of the dragon will only be 4 seasons, but they plan on continuing to expand the universe and are making many more shows, so there's hope we can get shows covering those events at some point!
The new A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms show will probably show the First Blackfyre rebellion through either Arlan's flashbacks telling his deeds to Dunk and probably from some other veterans too like Baelor and Maekar.

We can't have them following a young Aegon whoring around until he sires Daemon for one season. Might as well be a porno documentary. Then the next, we watch Daemon getting trained by Fireball until the rebellion. Seems pretty boring and dragged out for one battle sequence.

I just realized how similar the Young Wolf and the Young Dragon are, both leading their kingdoms to their greatest proportions (Riverlands in one case and Dorne in the other), both relatively good generals... and being defeated by deception under the guise of some form of negotiation😢
Baelor did not seek peace with a marriage alliance, he just apologized and walked the Dornish captives back to Dorne. Baelor's nephew Daeron is the one who achieved unification with Dorne through marriage.
Amazing video, would love to see a part two with things like the iron born invasions into the river land, the sacking of high garden by the dornish, and ofc the war of the nine penny kings.

I actually don't believe it was the first men who originally fought the children. It was the Great Empire of the Dawn. They came to Westeros with their dragons (as evidenced by the battle isle at Oldstone being built out of fused stone) and began cutting down weirwoods. To help continue to grow their empire. A lot of the earlier history is meant to be speculative, as the Long Night would have been a cultural bottleneck for information. It also doesn't make sense that the Children would commit the Hammer of the Waters attack after the First Men had already crossed the Arm of Dorne as it would have just sealed them in with their enemy. I believe the First Men actually fought with the Children to get rid of the Empire of the Dawn and their Dragons.
Please do a video about Every Crucial Character in ASOIAF Universe. Most of the wars you mentioned have some key figures in Westeros and Essos Lore. Other than GoT main (Jon-Dany-Tyrion) and side characters (Tywin-Oberyn-Hound) and HoTD’s Daemon-Aemond-Cregan…There are great many figures that shaped this universe.
