This is what makes music so special, combining so much talent and new friends together, enjoying what they do in life. Making our lives better with pure magic. Everything Mr Haynes does is a once in a lifetime experience. Mr. Grohl much respect also for having such talent
Personally, I’m glad the had that little miscommunication in the beginning cause the redo came back fucking heavy...nothing like a mistake to inspire someone to step up and show what they can really do...this was fucking awesome. Also if you are criticizing this performance I challenge you to jump on stage with some musicians you haven’t rehearsed with and bust out a tight cover of really well know classic song. Me thinks 90-98% of you would embarrass yourselves and quite possibly get booed off stage.
Real musicians can play through mistakes. Knopfler is one of my favorites because he makes mistakes when he plays live, but he’s seamless in the way he plays through them. It makes him human. Warren is in my top 5 too. He’s got amazing tone, a great voice and a beast of a player. On top of that, I hear he’s a helluva nice guy too! Dave is just Dave….another great player lol Music is awesome……
Close the door, put out the light.... Incredible song by incredible musicians.... Warren Haynes... Our(the fans) ONLY connection to the late great Gregory Allman, Duane Allman, Berry Oakley... With tears in my eyes. Keep the FUCKING torch burning brother... Please. Do something with mister BETTS.... To see you and him together with maybe... Oh.. I don't know... Mr. And Mrs...Derrick Trucks..... Would be beyond amazing...
I'm amused by some people criticizing. This is a bunch of musicians who have never performed together who threw together a concert in about 2 hours. Probably didn't get much practice, if at all. And it was amazing. Check out on my channel the video the other Zeppelin cover they did: Since I've Been Loving You.
Yep, they decided to do this show i heard early Sunday morning over BBQ, no practice, just straight out garage jam, five bucks to get in, How lucky were we to catch this show, laying on the couch, watching football after two night of Christmas jam and a buddy from Greensboro NC texts me about this show tickets on sale, couldn't get any online, so threw some winter gear on and drove to Orange peel and scored tix, amazing night on music!!
Sh*t happens and why people don't listen to the correction before giving judgment is amazing to me. Yes there was an error and it was addressed and corrected, This was awesome :)
You are absolutely right! This is LIVE music and these are just peoples - Sh*t sometimes happens! The important thing is that they started playing with smiles on their faces song from the beginning !! Warren is the best !! :D
Exactly! This was a last minute pop up snowed in show. If you were fortunate enough to be there it would have been one go your best nights of music ever. I was there don't know if I will ever be in the right place at the right time to witness something like this again.
Do Not let external forces steer your thoughts. Those that cast ill will live in their own cynical doomed bubble. Sit back, relax, rejoice in music. Watching live, miscues and all, solidifies their humanity while doing things 99.9% of the world cannot because they are mere Spectators. .01% of the World are the Brave Players. Be a Player at something.....anything and that negativity vanishes. After all, all those complainers.... I could be negative too, and shout at you ; YOU ARE ONLY A SPECTATOR.
What part of pop up jam don't some of these ugly commentators understand? Best parts of live performances are the missed lyrics, broken strings, slow starts etc but also when you can see and hear when the players hit their groove. As far as David Grohl is concerned, I'm sure he jumped at the chance to jam with them. He and his music can stand on their own. Does it mean he wants to be a Beatle just because he has collaborated with Paul McCartney? We all want the version of any song we fell in love with but have an open mind to other versions / covers.
Think of it this way- they're just fans getting off jammin' on a tune that they all love. If you play, you'll know what I'm saying. Oh, I have seen Zeppelin, twice in the 70's and they played this.
Why does Dave Grohl waste time as a guitar player when he is obviously the modern day John Bonham. It's a joke he's a brilliant guitarist, front man, vocalist too!!! Maybe he is a Jesus!!
@@MollyDay1 My post was meant as ironic humour, he is a brilliant all round musician and a wonderful ambassador and champion for music that mixes genres together. Best wishes to you.
Dave grohl shoulda stayed a drummer . No offence to his foo fighters thing . . He’s multi talented for sure .. but drumming is definitely his thing. It’s just a shame he is wasting his talent on being an ok guitarist and singer ... when in reality he’s one of the best rock drummers around .

exactly. music is the best medicine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
just a suggestion.. have you ever heard Tool's version of No Quarter? it's mindblowing..
This will make you late for work, they are jamming what a great cover

Saw the Mule last year and there was nothing missing just a blessing
7:52 - The look that Grohl shoots at Audley. Priceless.

Way cool that through it together and Emminence Front is one of the songs they played.
It simply sucked.
Keyboard started in C# band played in D . No biggie it happens, loved how they fixed it in seconds .
How sick is this warren is one of the greatest of all time
So true. He is the shit
Audley steals this one.
5:09 that there right foot goodness
Love everyone’s reaction to it too
Made Warren grin.
They did great job on this! Would love to see them do 'When the Levee Breaks'.
I love how everyone reacts to the triplets on the bass drum at 5:10
Two of my favorites..I love the Foo Fighters but I wish Dave had more time for things like THIS.#Zeprules #houseofhaynes
Have you seen his drumming in Them Crooked Vultures with John Paul Jones? MASSIVE….
Amazing! I wouldn't mind if they went another 15 jamming minutes.
Even their flubs are better than 95% of musicians out there today.
Simply excellent
yes it is, but the magnificent version was made by Tool,, check it out...
I enjoyed the hell out of this. To the douchebags in the comment section: did you know you can just click on something else if you don't like it?
True blue Rock n Roll
Very cool 🤘🥁🇨🇦🍺🥃
holy shipmate, Warren morphed into the older Bobby Plant

Audley Freed is at the top of his game.
I love warren but Audley is awesome
He always is
No quarter jam into a medley of Pink Floyd's Echoes in Pompeii subtly back into no quarter jam
amazing
Warren plays it in D. the original LZ version was also played in D however slowed down in post production to C#
Omfg wow
this is stupid amazing.
Moments of brilliance but are they using a toy xylophone for some of the keyboard parts?

What the hell happened at the start of the tune. Someone got lost and they restarted!!!! Live rock n roll Rules!!!
Jeff Comeau Sounded like someone was in the wrong key to me.
Daniel Bell yeah definitely a tuning thing
5:10 precious

Who in the hell is the lead guitarist on this? Fabulous!
Audley Freed
Audley Fkn Freed if ya need him..and you do.
He’s been in Sheryl Crow’s band now for over 10 years with Peter Stroud. His wife Jenn plays keys in Sheryl’s band also.
Check out Tool’s cover, Main Squeeze’s cover and Mark Miller’s cover. They really rock.
Is that Audley Freed on guitar?
Yep!
Great performance! But no one can beat the original......
Fuck yes
Who is playing the SG? Amsome !
Hi !!who is the guitarist with the GIBSON SG,,,???
Audley Freed. Check out his old band Cry of Love
Gotta be honest - make it your own or don't bother - having heard Zep do this live, ....enough said.

Great cover…Led Zeppelin live is always improvised anyways

Yes it's the same song. Led zeppelin is the original creator of no quarter
No wah intro puffff

Not sure if you're joking, but that's Audley Freed
FURD BURKLE
