I love this car as much as the new AMG GT simply because you can let the top down on this car and have big-time fun driving in the open air, which you can't with the AMG GT.
Very useful review. You are the first of reviewers (my see) to mention the chassis, the aluminum frame. Some reviewers focus on whether or not it r-e-a-l-l-y has quad exhausts, and whether the door handles are really optimum, and a bunch of stuff that really is cosmetic. You don't complicate with gear ratios, cylinder linings, caliper sizes, etc., but nevertheless manage a professional "let's talk function" summary. E.g. You mention that the dual clutch functions smoothly in low speed city traffic, and I understand from someone who owns one of those, that that is an important factor. Congrats on your presentation! Looks like you drive pretty well, too.
Great review. No doubt a great car. Well except for the ugly dash. That screen just looks like someone left it leaning there...almost covering the circular vents...which themselves jar against the square hard edged screen.
Wow! In US it’s about $200k US. loaded with some carbon fiber. Your paying an additional $100k AUS.😳
best video you've produced👌

Exactly! I think this is just a sexier/classier AMG GT but convertible. Apparently the weight are the same also.
but at what cost?😂
Just what we need😂 another Merc that is bumpy on Australia roads and will like many Mercs fracture it's rims on our potholes...
Yeah, 400k is a lot for this price and they gave it a 8 cylinder to make people think that it’ll increase in price
Rich house wives of Vaucluse will LOVE this
An abomination compared to a 1968 280 SL. So much for the triumph of progress.
ok, boomer

Gorgeous!

Thorough review, thanks.
Absolutely agree, the black wheels and trim is well past the use-by date. Give me some classic BBS wheels in silver please.
Such an advance from bloated R230 model with the heavy metal roof mechanism. Great review as always.
I think I’d rather a Ferrari F8 or a Lamborghini Huracán.
Stunning looking, I had a grey one in front of me yesterday
Is that not the same infotainment and general interior of the C class? Other then massaging seats, where’s the 400k going?
This must be one of the most overpriced cars in history
