This is the brand new 2023 Mercedes Benz AMG SL 63. In this video James Salvatore takes you on a drive reviewing the new SL 63 and shows you why it’s a force to be reckoned with. It features a 4.0L bi-turbo V8 producing 577 hp and 590 lbft of torque, mated to a 9 speed dual clutch transmission. It also comes standard with all wheel drive and rear wheel steering for the first time in an SL. But the SL isn’t just about performance - it’s also a luxurious ride with breath taking looks. I have this car and absolutely love it. Best of both worlds, sports car and luxury. At 200k it is neck and neck with a 911 4S that I specd at 200k also. Don’t forget Porsches options are 3x the cost of this when u consider everything that is included in the SL 63 base. The 4S is the competition at 200K out the door. Everyone comparing the turbo S is being lazy because that omits the fact that this SL 63 comes loaded in the base where Porsche has everything as an option. You can’t build a Porsche with less than 30k options if u want AWD. 911 turbo s Cabriolet starts at 243k and is probably 275k out the door.

I'm in the market for cars in this bracket (SL63, Bentley GT Cab, 911 Turbo Cab, M8 Cab). I'd be interested to know why you think the car is too expensive for what it is. For this price, you can't really get what this offers anywhere else. The real 0-60 is ~3.1sec so thats great too.
