Today, August 13th, is a very special day to him!!! Happy 66th birthday and best wishes to this amazing and talented singer Feargal Sharkey!!! Thank you so much for the great music!!!
It is timeless, yes mrs Karen....now back to my delorean, to 1985 lol The truth is that our hearts are only good because of God, there is no one who is good but God, Jesus said that and He is right. I found Jesus and he changed my entire life, He revealed secrets to me not many people know, He spoke to my face many times just the same as to His apostles 2000 years ago, I feel very blessed. Not many people know Him but He speaks to us all, I have learned the Bible and how to hear Him. It is not about religion or denomination, it is a personal intimate relationship. The whole world needs to know this desperately but who is telling it ? and who will hear and believe ? Not many...
Takes me back to 1985, and dancing away believing in every word. Still just as relevant today as it was back then. ❤ Feargal Sharkey. As good as they come.🎉
Take me back with you. 😂 Not for the music, I want my youth back. To me, the 80s mean _bad hair and clothing styles, a lot of questionable music,_ but mostly, I remember HAVING A LOT OF FUN. That fun continued into the late-90s. We had a kid, and fun took on a whole new meaning.
He became world famous with this song. He is one of those band of Irish guys in the 1980s like Chris De Burgh. Jimmy McShane from Baltimora and others. Who were one or two hit wonders. But those one or two hit wonder songs made them world famous were probably some of the best songs of the decade. This was one of the best songs of the decade. Great music video too. You can see the enthusiasm and joy of the American music audience in this music video for this guy.

LYRICS - “A Good Heart” 💖
I hear a lot of stories
I suppose they could be true
All about love
And what it can do to you
Highest risk of striking out
The risk of getting hurt
And still
I have so much to learn
Well, I know
'Cause I think about it all the time
I know
That real love has quite a price
A good heart
True love, the lasting kind
So please be gentle with this heart of mine
My expectations may be high
I blame it on my youth
Soon enough
I'd learned the painful truth
I'll face it like a fighter
Then boast of how I've grown
Anything is better
Than being alone
Well, I know
'Cause I learn a little every day
I know
'Cause I listen when the experts say
That
(That a good heart)
(These days, is hard to find)
A good heart
True love, the lasting kind
Oh (So please be gentle with this heart of mine)
Yeah!
Hey!
As I reflect on all my childhood dreams
My ideas of love weren't
As foolish as they seemed
If I don't start looking now
I'll be left behind
And a good heart these days
It's hard to find
Well, I know
It's a dream I'm willing to defend
I know
It will all be worth it in the end
A good heart
True love, the lasting kind
(A good heart)
(These days, is hard to find)
So please be gentle with this heart of mine
A good heart
(True love, the lasting kind)
(A good heart) Ooh
(These days, is hard to find)
(So please be gentle with this heart)
With this heart of mine (of mine)
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
(A good heart)
Ah baby, baby
(A good heart)
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
(A good heart)
Aah, ah, ah-ah
(A good heart)
Oh, oh, oh, oh keep it up, keep it up, keep it up
(A good heart)
Ooh baby, baby
(A good heart)
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
(A good heart)

No the 60s did then the 80s and nothing since
@@billgallop4955 60s and 80s was better than the 70s only a gee good songs came from the 70s
@@billgallop4955 70s and 80s are one unit, I feel? 70s Is phenomenal, but 80s evolved a bit more with more variety, 70s had a lot of variety and genre, but eighties was the pinnacle of variety, then it slowly went downhill in the 90s till the steaming pile of non original cookie cutter copy and paste crap today

Feargal Sharkey lovely voice, lovely work! Met his brother Michael on a flight to Dublin than all the way up to Derry where they are from. He is a great guy that gave us tips about places to go and we spoke a bit about Feargal also. :)
