- Washer will only rinse in hot water. Washers tend to always rinse with cold water. Occasionally there is a washer that will rinse in warm water but 90 percent of them only wash in cold. If that is the case likely the hot and cold hoses were swapped around.

Mine is still rinsing with hot water and the hoses are on the correct hook up
Just saved me 250$ I can’t believe it was that simple THANK YOU.
Little tip: turn off the water flow in your house beforehand if you don’t want to get sprayed by a non stopping fountain of water for 10 minutes 😀
I only get cold water whether I choose a hot wash or a cold wash. I do get get water at the nearby sink though. What is the cause? 😕
God bless you
Thank you
Thank you for your amazing videos , always helpful.
have a question regarding a whirlpool duet dryer , that when I push start it'll runs for few seconds and shut off, then after a min or so it starts over again by itself and same thing over and over never finished the cycle , please if you have any ideas 💡 ,than you
Motor might be over heating. There is a fuse that will trip when it over heats. When it cools again it will reset. I wouldn’t think it would start back up on its own though. That sounds odd to me. It should just shut off when it trips and stay off until you start it again. Maybe a shorted start switch plus a bad motor? Don’t quote me on this one. I would have to put my hands on it to know for sure. Good luck!
@@BeardedApplianceRepair that's what I tought , thank you so much for replaying
My problem is. All hoses hook up right. I wanted to wash cloths on quick wash medium. My cold water came out hot. 🔥 why.....
Same
That is how it is in my apartment.
Just moved into my condo that I just purchased. If you know anything about condos they usually are furnished with a stacked washer and dryer because the space is limited.
After wrenching my back pulling the unit out of its little place meant to pinch all your fingers and clearing out all the lint in the dryer from years of neglect, I put the unit back in its place of purpose. Feeling satisfied I had virtually created a new dryer I decided to run a load of laundry. Being the environmentally conscious individual that I am, I ran the washer on cold settings. Sure enough the washer was washing close with hot water.
So, out comes the unit again and with it another veribrea was sacrificed for the good of the environment. Apparently, those that previously moved the machine couldn't read and switched the hot and cold hoses.
This reminds me of Ron White's lawsuit against Sears when the technician missed "lugnut day "

Awesome
What if i did that but, it doesn't throw hot water now, and it only makes noises when it wants to throw but the machine doesn't fill up with hot water.
Turn the water back on? 🧠
@@hyphydan I did but it only throws cold water, and it still does.
Just saved me calling out a plumber. Bought a new house, found that the washer was hot after it ran and ended up here. simple fix, thanks!
Same!!!
Literally doing this right now. Reading is hard apparently .
Thank you so much. I couldn’t figure out what the problem was. A simple 1 minute fix. My water bill thanks you as well 😂😂😂😂
My hoses are connected correctly but I still get hot water on the rinse cycle any ideas?
Same here I don’t know what to do
My washer is only hooked up to cold water, it can try use hot water all it wants.
I did this and my washer still takes hot water lol
Thank you so much! My grandmother had this problem with her washer and we couldn’t figure out why when we would put it on cold wash that it would be hot water! Thank you so so much!❤😊
I choose the cold-cold setting to wash and rinse. It washes in hot and rinses in cold. Any ideas why this would be happening?
I want to wash and rinse in Coldwater
Ohhh shit!!!! Right on! My cold was in hot and hot in cold. Someone else set it up! Thanks a lot. May the magic be with you!❤
I have it on cold Tap water but it runs hot
Thank you for taking the time to make this video. What a HUGE blessing! God bless you in Jesus name :)
does it matter which ones you switch? Would it be fine to switch the tap hose ends instead of the washing machine hose ends? The tap hose ends are easier to access. I want to switch them without having to move my washing machine out
Such a great video thank you!! You helped me tremendously! Only, you talk a little to fast on the instructions. My slow brain had to rewind quite abit. 😅 thanks!
My first wash washes in cold and rinse in hot but when I start a new load it washes right it washes in hot then it rinses in cold
You just saved . May God bless you
Why does my washer only work on certain settings or works on cold rinse cycle and hot bulky bedding setting
I have a top loading washer, model 600 Kenmore and I couldn't get the head bolt off, it was spinning, but I didn't make any progress. Any tips?
Only issue I got is I think the valve is broken because no matter which way it turns the hot water stays on
My Frigidaire stackable washer is about 15 years old , my dryer had a problem with some wires burned, after getting the dryer fixed, the washer now sounds like it has a bunch of rocks in it when it spins. We had just leveled it too.
Are you still in business? You have not uploaded a video in 4 months!
On a Hotpoint washer I want to wash and rinse in Coldwater how do I do that
simple fix, thanks. i disconnect the washer to fix some pluming behind washer and didn't pay attention when hooking back up
When are you posting your 2nd year anniversary in Appliance Repair video?
Thank you! You really helped me out!
Thankkkk you this just saved me time and money
Yup, this was me thank you
Thanks Bro
That was it buddy! Thanks!
Hi sir - have you ever run into an issue with breaking free the bolt for the agitator on a whirlpool Cabrio platinum?? I’m going to try to replace the topside hub to solve Sd / F71 error code as washer won’t go into spin cycle anymore
Yes those can be tough. Will likely be tough getting the wash play off too.
To get that bolt out I put my left leg in the basket to hold it and use both my arms to break it free. Little bit of a technique I ise
Thank you sir… I will give that a try later today.. Order the $14 version replacement part / kit from Amazon.. I even tried to break it free with a screw gun on impact setting but nothing.. will need maybe a longer extension with a breaker bar :/
The trick worked perfectly many thanks.. Will see if I plan to tackle the bearing, shaft & seal kit next… I found it online priced well.. But purchasing the specialized tool for the job looks costly..!!
Thanks for your help!!!
Watching now in 2024 an you were right! My maintenance guy is making the switch right now 👍🏾
rinse in hot water….Why does it matter?
Your dark clothes will fade its color and possibly shrink
@@kelaajh I’ve been washing my clothes (cotton) in hot water and they are just fine. It’s not the hot water that makes clothes shrink, it’s the dryer
