@@waynealleyne131, Thanks. I got my problem solved. I got a new washer. No more GE appliances for me. I've been told by every repair person that GE washers suck! Lesson Learned! Thanks!
My washer isn't doing this exactly but it's letting me select what kind of wash I want, I can hear it start but then it beeps and stops. And will continue to blink 52 in estimated time remaining.
I have the one with the LO-WATERWASH PRECISE WATER FILL ALWAYS SEEMS LOW. Large loads water is still low. I did install a new pressure sensor . What else can it be ????
Replaced the lid switch and tested the resistance on the water valves. All the valves are between 1.3 and 1.8. One valve is at 1.29. Close enough? Also checked for any possible mechanical failure and the screens were clean and no other deposits found. If those 2 parts are working, what's the next possible problem? Thx
But none of the newer energy efficient washer full with water anymore. So are your referring to the machine not filling at all with water or the issue with them not fully filling due ot ths new machines? I need a trick to fix mine it's new but obviously has the same problem as all new ones where they dotn fill all the way over clothes with water.
I'm about to do my 2nd Lid Switch replacement. It kind of takes one spray of water and stop. 2nd spay and stop. When it does the 3rd time, the sensing lights illumitanes but the spraying is about 3 seconds before stopping. If its bad, it happened within a month after I replaced it for the first time
Hi! What is the correct name for washing machines of this type? Is it a top-loading automatic washing machine or an activator-type washing machine? There are no such machines in the Russian Federation, so I cannot understand how to classify them correctly. We only sell European-type washing machines with front or top loading, but they all have a horizontal drum axis. In the washing machine that appears in your video, the drum axis is located vertically. What is the correct name for the class of such machines and how much better or worse are they than European-type washing machines in terms of washing quality, build quality, and repairability? Thank you in advance.
I cannot find a way to remove the water inlet valve to check for debris, etc due to cold water not coming into the machine. There is no part/piece to grab with needle nose pliars. Also note there wasn't a screen inside the hose attachment. How can I clean tis on my GE washer? Thanks, Claire Cothron
Gone threw 2 NEW GE WASHERS WITHIN 13 months model number of current one GTE335ASN2WW. Water does not fill no matter what I put dial on and always after cycle is done have to DRAIN AND SPIN again or cloths will be to wet for dryer. First one lid lock broke no one could fix it. No idea what was going on my brain when I purchased second one. I had a cheaper ROPER for 15 years.
So i replaced the water intake part, but it won't run cold water. Any suggestions? I've done the diagnostic, and it works, but for any cycle, it won't run cold water only hot.
I think this is my problem as my washer is intermittent. It works sometimes and sometimes does not. My wife is pissed! LOL Great Video!
Wait witch one is ur problem the first w lid lock switch or the water values
My is washing sometimes and the sometimes not at all just click click and no water

Old washers are better, these new ones all suck
Agreed!

At that point, it might be best to just replace the valves
Does the top lift for better access to the switch?
The alternative way to replace the lid lock by lifting the top is shown in this video of mine:

And my washer is not even 5 yrs old. Everything is shit these days

Got my fix
I'll send you a lady's information who ordered the parts and walk me through it
my ge washer wont fill, just pouring in and not staying, its like filling up a tub without a stopper and expecting it to fill
Most likely it's stuck in flood mode. This happens when the pressure hose port gets clogged
Mine too
Is this also gonna fix machine from locking. I changed lock already
Will it keep it form locking ?
Whats that part num . Blu valves .
Mine is brand new and not filling smh

My washer is the same you are working on mine fills up but that’s all it does
Sounds like it could be a bad lid switch
I have lost the paper with all the fault codes is there anyone that can point me in the right direction to find it
Love your video man)
Thank you 😊
