@SYLVANIAautomotive When will I guys update sylvania zevo led bulbs? For 7443,7440,1156,1157,3157,3157 for red led, white led, white led with a bubble on it for more brightness, and Amber, and add a bubble on a Amber for more brightness? Increase the wattage from 1.5/5 watts, to 2.5/3 watts. With a dim function of 0.5/0.6 watts. With four LED’s on each side. Same approach like the current ones, 2 small led for as marker lights and two larger LED’s to energize the brightness. Make a 360 type, and the heatsink shape like X shape, each edges of the X will have led diodes. Which that’s gonna be amazing design. While still maintaining the led diodes will shoot the light at the reflectors.
@SylvaniaAutomotive It be nice if u guys show more benefits of zevo LED’s. What the difference between standard and premium led. Why would we want to choose and upgrade led instead of standard incandescent bulbs. And why choose sylvania zevo over any others.
On my 2015 lifted Scion xB. It has a soft but slightly firm-ish click that’s tight enough to hold my 7443R sylvania zevo led bulbs. I just wish they would of made the socket a bit thicker, so that these can be installed nice and tight. But I have no issues with them at all. U might as well go for lasfit or auxito since they have excellent tight installation. 😊
Using a led bulb in optics designed for standard bulbs is not good, the light assembly has been carefully engineered for the type of bulb it has in it for both safety and proper brightness, using a bulb such as this can give varying results of too bright of illumination and can be blinding to other drivers, also inconsistent illumination is another point. Don’t use these, use the proper bulb your car was designed to use. Cars with LED lighting from the factory have very carefully designed optics to accommodate them.
Lol these shouldn’t be. With white led its the same like the factory ones. With red, it’s more usable light. I’d rather having that’s very bright to give other drivers attention ahead. Increase safety, and longer life than halogen, plus overtime they can burn and damage the sockets which it’s not good. I will go for GTR Lighting brake light red bulbs for better brighter lights. But I’m gonna get these sylvania red led to see for myself before the better ones. These should be fine as it is. I see others with led red lights, in real world, they are not as bright as u think. So in conclusion, NIGGA PLEASE!!!!🤣🤣🤣

Hello! An incandescent 2825 consumes 5 Watts. The LED bulb consumes about 0.5 Watts.. When the vehicle shuts-off power to the map lights, there is sometimes residual energy in the system. The 5W bulb will consume the power relatively quickly, while the LED can take as much as 10x longer. This extra time gives the impression of staying on. An easy solution would be to attach a 5W Load Equalizer across the terminals of the map light to consume this residual energy quickly. We have them available on Amazon: www.amazon.com/SYLVANIA-5-Watt-Equalizer-Contains-Equalizers/dp/B07194LP2B/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1542039374&sr=8-1&keywords=sylvania+load+equalizer+5W
Zevo’s are supposed to be few more of point something brighter. So it’s not too bad. Not the brightest but not the worse. They are ok. This week I will give this a try, before I jump to the GTR Lighting armor series led red bulbs that are way brighter. 700 lumens per bulb. And I want to see how this in person.
Lol still dim as hell. Trust me. Tested. Only one I'd recommend is white, you might get lucky depending on your application, reflector design, etc. *Only use white in clear lens application.
My opinion has changed in the two years since original comment. I've performed further testing and they've improved their product output. At this point, these are the best bulbs to buy if you want long reliability and consistent bright output, providing you have a light housing designed as such for the bulb to shine directly into the reflector for the best output. Believe it or not, I run no other bulb on my vehicle right now. It's equipped with 5 pairs in all locations.
@@spectrexiii5529 yes they work great, I started with cheap leds but they also go out or start flickering. Now I use nothing but this brand. And the lifetime warranty is great.

Well they do.
If they don’t than that’s a fail

Yes. Sylvania Zevo line up are brighter version than the regualr sylvania led.
Do urs flashing fast?
The sylvania Zevo doesn’t require fast flash.
If ur lookin for super bright with a fast flash brake light bulbs, go for auxito.
How about making them fit Ford's sockets? They fell right out. Glass bulbs lock into place with no effort.
