Make your Grovelers and Small Wave Performance Boards faster with my new Pivot Twins + Stabilizer.
These P-Twins+1 get into the lip quickly with its upright template. The wider base enables you to push harder through turns to maximize speed on rail without sacrificing pivot in the pocket. If you want quick directional changes for fast beach breaks or increased drive on rail at point breaks, the P-Twins+1 offer progression with stability. Pair them with your favorite Groveler, Small Wave Performance Board, or Daily Driver in 1-6’ surf. I also recommend using the P-Twins without the Stabilizer on certain Twin Fin Boards. (Vee Bottom Twin Fin Boards or Twin Fin Boards that have the fin boxes set further back like 8.75”- 7.75” off the tail.)
    For Surfers: (63.5 - 99.79 Kg / 140 - 220 lbs)

I’ll consider getting your design. I definitely miss surfing in Santa Cruz, California. I’m submitting resumes for SoCal jobs but it looks like I’ll be surfing Florida for another year. So I appreciate the small wave videos. Been frustrating riding these hip high waves in New Smyrna and shoulder height at Sebastian Inlet

Looks good Nole, that's what I'm talking about speed, drive, and release with full-on rail surfing, pushing hard all the way through your turns with a little bit of drift and flair in the lip. :)
You didn't mention the flex, are they pretty stiff also? I wanted to try something like this with decent flex and inside foil for smaller waves, what are your thoughts on this?
    Regards

I am surprised that you used a twin fin + stablizer on a thruster set up like the mini ghost’s. That is something that I always thought of doing but my shaper told me thruster set ups are not meant to be surfed with twin fins. Could you please tell us if that is something that you recommend? Thank you

In shoulder high waves and smaller it really loosen up a board. I think it makes smaller waves fun. It works great on some boards… in small waves you can go faster and real ease the tail easier. In head high and bigger waves it doesn’t really work… the board is to loose and slides out easily.

Interesting...but that tiny little surf'n show logo in the center of the fin (pictured on your website) does NOT look good. Blowing the logo up to cover the entire fin (or larger) would look badass...kinda tribal.

Stoked on your fin line! My friend’s & I have ordered several & they are sick!!!
    Keep’ em coming!
I noticed you didn’t have any MR 2+1’s as a reference. I luv my MR 2+1’s!!!
Throw them in my groveler’s & here on the Central East Coast (Cocoa Beach / Satellite Beach area) & they perform amazingly in the conditions we have here. Are you a fan of them or nah???
I run your HP Keels in my 5’2 mini-sims twinny & they are super fun!!!
Just curious as to how your 2+1’s compare to the MR 2+1’s???
How does the Rusty Miso compare to the CI FishBeard, in your opinion???
Thanks for all you do for the surfing community! You & your brother are making a huge difference!!! Ty!!! 💪

      Stoked you like our fins!!!
The MR’s are epic…. I used them in a lot of board reviews in the past and they are great. My new Pivot Twins + Trailer have a wider base, and a bit more fin area so mine offer a bit more drive and hold. My template is pretty upright so it will pivot similar to the MR’s.
The Miso has 5 fin boxes so it surf completely different compared to the Fishbeard. The FB is a legit Twin Fin and these two boards are not a good comparison as they are both in different board categories. The Miso review drops next month

Hey Noal, I just got a Schroff twin. 5'7 2 5/8 x19 5/8. I'm having trouble figuring out where to place my tail pad. I've never had a twin so I'm not sure how high up on the tail to put the pad. It's frustrating because the board tail area is so wide and the fins ( I have the Rasta twin + 1 in it right now) are so high up I really don't know where to place the bottom of the pad.

how do these fins compare to the FCS2 MR Twins + Trailer? i tried those on my shortboard yesterday and i've never felt a board so loose before - was really hard to put on rail and didn't get any sense of "drive" tho i could eventually lock in some really fun pivot-ey/flow-ey turns...is that normal?

    • @surfnshowreviews7777
      @surfnshowreviews7777  Рік тому

My Pivot Twins + Trailer have more surface area and a wider base. With that comes more drive, and better hold. You’re board will still feel loose and responsive with excellent pivot.

hi Noel, i m trying different setup, as the board seems really slow/stiky down the line and not able to pump to get speed. I know it s hard to say with no knowing the board, but could it be that i m not used to swallow tails?use to surf squashed tails for ever...or could it be simply too big for me? i ve surfed in small mushi beach break as well as nice 5-6 ft point in morocco, but the feeling is still the same. Any thought? im now switching to smaller flaxier fins both trusters and 2+1 as last change to click with the board. thank's for you advices
