That would make a nice hearty autumn dish for when nights begin to get chilly.
I feel like mushrooms with broths during fall are very overlooked for a nice hearty meal that’s also light and healthy

I made this last night with Pasquale's technique. Same ingredients that I usually use, but with a different order of cooking -- and I hate to say it, but it came out even better than my old family method. Delicious! All the different flavors stood out and yet made a unified combination. (I didn't use quite as much hot pepper, though, and I used canned tomatoes since I can't get really fresh plum tomatoes right now.) I'm going to make the dish Pasquale's way from now on.
Discovering them at the start of pandemic last year was my favorite thing. I’m ready to get into it again. 🥰

I made this last night and It was so delicious. I have a go to recipe that is close to this one except it has cream. Yours is my new go to. The flavors blended together so well without the added calories of the cream. The only change I made was I didn't have any plum tomatoes so I added some fresh cherry tomatoes instead. My husband loved it as well. Thanks for the delicious recipe!!!!!

I make something similar to this. No hot pepper though. Crushed pepper flakes. And I use bow ties w hot and sweet sausage 🙌🏽

We made this exactly this way but we cut back way on the hot pepper and we substituted Linquica sausage. It’s a Portuguese smoked pork sausage that seasoned with garlic and paprika. Oh we also only used 2 garlic cloves.
We’ve got some picky eaters and hot spicy food just doesn’t work.
I made this for last nights dinner, and had the leftovers for today’s lunch. Delicious. I may try it using chicken instead of sausage next time

I made it. It was nice and spicy. I might even say that the chili could be omitted due to the heat from the sausage. Mushrooms were delicious.
