Now this is heaven! I plan soon to get several flats of Roma tomatoes for Pascuale’s sauce ( I canna spell sauche) I did want to ask The Chef if he makes wine? Of all the recipes I have from my BisNonna she would never show me how to make wine. She said I was to young. At least she gave me a small sip at every meal. I still miss the old timers. They were special. Now, I am one.
My husband and I watch your videos and we saw this one last week. My husband who doesn’t cook kept hinting about me making it so last night I decided to surprise him. Oh my goodness.... it was absolutely wonderful. I added a small package of sliced baby portobello mushrooms, a little extra crushed red pepper and I had to add more cream to get enough sauce but other than that I followed the exact recipe and it came out perfectly. Just the right amount of flavor. I paired it with two sides...a recipe from Giada on food network...pan fried zucchini with an anchovy, caper and tomato vinaigrette and an arugula salad with sliced pears, shaved Parmesan and a honey and lemon vinaigrette. My husband said it was a meal fit for a king. You can’t receive a better compliment than that. I am pretty critical when it comes to my own cooking but even I thought it was delicious. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe. I will definitely be making it again.

Salami and cherry tomatoes does not go with this dish. These are original classic traditional Italian pasta dishes they shouldn't be altered because it ruins the classic traditional Italian dish and alters the superb taste.

Pasquale, I pray you do not mind if I tweak this recipe a bit. I use 50/50 sweet, hot Italian sausage. I leave out red pepper flakes & eat on a " oh yeah baby"delicious. On the side for more heat with garlic bread & butter on the side, deliciouso.
