- Coronation Street studio , ITV Manchester audit. This place looks pretty cool from above ! Security tell me that they've had loads of drones.. and the police have got rid of them all!

I remember when it was all docks in Salford, 3rd busiest port in the UK 35 miles from the sea

I walked around the original set in 1998. I even had a pint in the rovers which was inside the building that they now have as the medical centre.
I remember that set visited in 1997-1999 think it was in Granada Studios, had a roller coaster. The set was a just a facade and there was nothing when I looked through the letterbox.
I've been meaning to go here with my drone, and wondered what the reception would be

Great video. Don't watch Corrie now but I enjoyed seeing around the set. I remember going to the old set when I was little, they had big metal gates and I used to look for the cast lol 👏👏👏👍

I visited the old set few years ago and there is a war museum just along from the new studio and you can see into the corrie set, its massive now too , great video

I've been going to the coronation street set in 2022 with my sister's boyfriend.
I even had a nosy at the CBeebies Studio is well.
I just Googled Coronation Street it's been on tv 64 years. If I got the DVD boxes set today. It would take me over 10 years to catch-up.

I think it would take longer than that to be honest remember you have to eat, sleep and go to work I think 20. After all that would there be enough time? Wonder if itv have every episode to be able to put on itvx.

I flew my drone over the set yesterday without any trouble because I didn't walk up to the security and tell them what I was doing. I took the drone up from a public footpath and stayed within visual line of site and had no problems with security whatsoever.i broke no laws and flew safely. I posted the footage on my channel

Why does the coronation street look less depressing than its surroundings?
Very weird having fake houses and shops ,you would think they would just build them out of wood and actually use them as real buildings as it would save on production costs and travel costs

The only soap I watch nowadays is Eastenders never a dull moment in that always entertaining. Not see Corrie since 2010-2014 so which is better or each to their own?
