You know, when I first started watching DJ and other auditing videos I honestly thought these people where just antagonistic attention seekers, but after watching many (they are additive huh!) I can hand on heart say these auditors are doing a fantastic public service. I'm absolutely shocked how little the police, security, business and land owners know about the law, and how they abuse their powers and think they can bully and intimidate people. It's disgusting and scary! These people deserve to be called out and shamed. I've learnt a lot about my rights watching these videos and I thank you for that DJ.

Too often, conflict lies barely beneath the surface. All of us know that a pleasant demeanor costs nothing, and will achieve satisfying results in most circumstances. Police and 'security' are too often ignorant about their roles, relying on their egos to scrape through another situation.

The green land the government and conservationists moaned about not being used for buildings . Seems to be rubbish. They said that only land that had prior property on it could be used. And that's why certain companies were denied the right to build homes. Yet all those fields have been used for buildings.
What you need to do is call the police and just say that someone is flying drone over your property, they have been doing some dangerous manoeuvres, and you are concerned it might hurt someone (don’t mention your property), the police will triage emergency calls if there is a perceived risk to life and they will drop what they are doing and call in the nearest dispatch unit. You can also say ‘I have my daughter with me here today’ and I’m worried I’m a minute it might land in her as it has got close to us already (your word vs the guy flying the drone) but the objective is to just get the police there asap. And you can say it looks like it might have a large package on it, I don’t want to make assumptions but just in case it turns out to be a weapon or something, can someone please come asap I don’t want to risk it. All of those buzz words will rock the operators boxes to triage a fast response unit there and you have absolved yourself from slander by saying you are not sure. Then when the police arrive this bloke has to explain himself to them and not you on site. And the police hate it when members of the public start telling them about the law and the rules and he will be on their database. The next time he gets called-in and he acts cocky and says he knows the law better than the police, the police can obtain counsel advice to look at small loop holes in the law to charge him for an offence. It will take some time but you’ll eventually get him.
You would be better served by judging a company based on the quality of the services or goods they provide. I’m saying this as someone who worked the same miserable job for 13 years. My attitude absolutely stunk and I made no secret about the fact I hated my job but I assure you my standard of work was absolutely outstanding.

Trespass can be criminal, if he has been told that he cannot access their land and if he then does, this can become an aggravated trespass which is criminal. Civil trespass is still a law, people seem to keep forgetting this and DJ should be following the law whilst flying his drone.

Every single bit of the UK is private property. Owned by someone or something (business, organisation, government body, etc). Many such private properties are accessible to the public. If used by the public, then they become public places.
Trespass is when you are asked to leave. But it's a tort. A civil offence. If you aren't causing damage or disruption then there is nothing much that can be done about it. Just like standing a few feet on their property means nothing. As proven by the fact that he didn't immediately and violently eject you from "his" property.
And it is a grey thing. It depends on the context and the situation. And every one is different. Either because the private has a different use, or the person is different, or the time is different, or the actions are different. So going a few feet onto private property means nothing. Go further past security or into a building and then things change. Then they start getting the right to eject. But it's a spectrum. A scale. There is no hard and fast line. Even though there is some imaginary line that demarcates the boundary of the private property.
