A good manual! Enjoyed watching this video and compared changing diesel filter with a gasoline one. In case of diesel, it is placed in an engine bay, while a gas one is under the car. It's a good idea to fill a new filter with fuel before installing it. Maybe I'll do something like that when the time of changing my gas filter comes. Though, I know there is definitely no need to do it.

The petrol one is much smaller and nearly horizontal. If you take the fuse out for this (F17?) before emptying it, run it a bit then disconnect the battery you de-pressurize the filter an you won't get splashed with as much fuel when you swap it out.

This is a return fuel pipe. It is important to get the correct size diameter pipe (it looks like standard fuel pipe) and try to replace complete section lengths between fittings.
