- This is my 1993 Honda Civic EG Hatchback with a Fully Built 1.8L LS VTEC Turbo Engine. Today i am going to go over every mod that I can think of that I have done to the car including engine, turbo kit, interior and more.
This car is making right around 567 horsepower to the wheels and only weighs 2,100lbs. That means that it's horsepower per liter is right around 315whp per liter. By comparison, that would be like a 6.0L V8 making just shy of 1,900 horsepower. I'm happy with that to say the least haha.
Over the last 2 years, I have changed up my build A LOT. And I'm sure by now a lot of you guys are a bit lost haha. Well that is why I made this video. The turbo Civic is finally back together and rippin so this is a good time to document the current state of the build.

Be careful to whatever track youre going to, they will throw you out without having a cage in your car. NHRA and IHRA rules say anything faster than 11.49 you have to have a cage installed in your car. And the faster you get, the more points and bars you have to add.

Hybrid shifter is amazing, I had a slight issue with a broken C clamp on mines after owning it for years, and they fixed it free of charge!🙌🏿

Get the jackspania racing b series box shifter it has options for lockout for reverse and 5th as well as 1st and 2nd so you can’t misshift as well as mounting to trans tunnel so you don’t need a stabilizer bar for shift linkage feels amazing

I have the same steering wheel with an nrg quick release. It spaces it from the light stalks pretty much exactly like the oem steering wheel.

@@Escalofrios29 yea the rfab plate bolts to chassis and shifter bolts to plate removing the stabilizer arm from the setup

Idk what your using for shift bushings underneath but i started using only solid aluminum front and rear instead of the poly ones and its way better.

It’s a p75 with hondata s300, vtec, and bbg soldered in.

Welcome to the channel!
My shifter set up in my EG is a Hybrid Racing Shifter, extender & GSR shift knob. I also have poly bushings, & an no name upgraded U joint. Its shifts very well & always return to center. Ive been through a couple set ups but my absolute favorite was a OEM shift linkage, Circuit Hero Extender & Mugen style shift knob. I can power shift that all day long. Unfortunately it snaps the shifters at its weak point every year or 2.

I think the drainback issue comes from people that live in cold climates and dont have their tubes routed good to prevent condensation, and winter brings them the water/oil nasty shit in their reservoirs.. so they think that going back would be bad.. probably would. lol
Yo John you babe a little plastic ring inside the shifter if it is worn out it won’t center the shifter when you get out of gear, I have the same shifter replace that plastic ring and you should be good.
