Hey John a little tip for when your pulling your motor out and reinstalling . I usually like to leave the harness still on the engine when I pull the motor . It makes it so much more easier to reinstall because everything on the motor is accessible. Next time around just disconnect the plugs from the left and right fire Walls .

Just a little tip its a lot easier to plug the harness in while its out of the car and drop it in all together same with taking it out just disconnect and reconnect from chasis plugs 🙂
Always liked NA builds over turbo builds even when it comes to a d-series, but yeah definitely make sure the engine is good before boost or you might find out too late...
Never let a fresh motor idle too long the first 20 minutes of a fresh build. Using break in oil is the best way because it has high mineral content to help seat rings! Just a recommendation.

Been there since late dec when it left me stranded on a cold ass night with flurries starting. Took over 2 months to get a crank sensor due to the plandemic .. yup they blame everything on it
seeing her happiness when the car started was great im working of fixing up my teggy motor rn and my girl calls my car trash all the time kinda disheartening.

If your Turbo has provisions for cartridge water cooling lines you will most definitely want to use them. They are there for a very important reason!

Rebuilds the whole motor & trans but puts back on the clapped clutch assembly. Come on John... you're better then that.
That clutch has no more than 600 miles on it and it’s an ACT clutch. Not clapped at all.
