- Hi Friends. Your questions make for the best videos ! Your question was simple: How do you get 45FPS in 4K ? I took the time to show you and explain how I do it, as well as other options available and their outcome.
First , We are talking about my 55inch triple screen setup running in Sim Update 10 Beta .
My center screen is always on 4K
1st trial shows 4K on both side screens
2nd trial shows 2K on the side screens
3rd trial shows 1080p on the side screens.

Thanks for putting the effort in and sharing this video, just stepped into the multi monitor space and before your guide I was down at 25FPS, sitting nicely close to 50FPS now. :)

One amazing setup, and really useful information. I wasn't aware you could mix the resolutions like this as well, that's pretty neat. Would love the multiple monitor setup. Mostly fly big airliners so would need a beefy PC even my 3080/5900x somewhat struggle with certain aircraft with just one 4k display.

I don’t understand how the 4K screens are linking up with the 2k side screens. Are you using some sort of software to stitch the screens together?. Also, are you using projector screens or 3 big tv’s?

There are a few things going on :
1. I have 3 4k Vizio M series Gaming TVs . Here's a video for my whole sim room i had specially built :

2. After the beta testing is finished and SIM UPDATE comes out sometime this week. You will all be able to use triple screen . The cool part is you can assign whatever resolution you want for each screen. So no matter what resolution the TV is.... You can tell the simulator to render one in 1080P the other one in 4k and the other one in 2K. That is quite amazing because it opens up a world of possibilities.
3. As far as projector or stitching what you're actually seeing is me using three TVs in the Asus bezel free kit. This is my number one asked question. Here's a video that I made :

Can't wait to run triple screens....I dumped about a grand into my realsimgear GNS 530 and 430 for my panel, so im in a holding pattern right now.
I hear you Michael... I've actually started to add up how much I'm invested at this point and the numbers are a bit scary. The only thing that makes it better is that it's one little thing at a time like Chinese water torture. When people ask how much I spend I usually tell them : "you know how some guys restore classic cars and that's their hobby? That's how much I spent...." 😂

Me too ! I think I mentioned that somewhere . It's quite interesting how we all tend to "stick around home". It's a testament to the faithfulness of the simulator. In some weird way I'm pretending to learn how to fly for real and hoping to drive down to one of those airports one of these days and sign up for real lessons
Too funny that I just saw this and just finished doing experiments like this. First time launching MSFS in a month or more. Waiting on parts for my pit so currently have my three 4k monitors in various parts of my room. I have 20' display port cables so doesn't matter for my tests. I just wanted to say that I found the goldilock zone to be 4k center and 2k sides as well, and I have a 3090TI. I'm running much higher settings, but am going to drop the AA next time I do more testing. I chose to drop the sides because I don't see enough of a difference on my Samsung 28" Odysseys to put up with the extra heat from my comp. Even 2k all around is fine to me. Having 28's, they're much closer to me so the image is insanely crisp either way. I stopped looking at fps a long time ago. I just go by what I see and how it runs. If I were making a video comparison like this, of course I would, but just telling people to not chase nonsense in sims (any sims). You'll spend more time tweaking and breaking than enjoying. The only issue I have at the moment is getting the proper zoom set (not FOV) in my camera.cfg to give me a 1:1 look and feel. I'll have to wait until I get my rig frame for anymore tests though.

@@rayerdinc2441 the amount of monitors is actually up to your preference . The game will theretically support it. My only concern is , can the current graphics cards run 4 monitors at 4k ? Or would you be limited to 1080 or 1440 p on each . I'mcurrently running 4 monitors but : but the game is only on 3 with the 4th being a touchscreen for air manager . As for size , I will always advocate for BIGGER IS BETTER. It's a matter of scale. I use to have 32 inch triples last year . Moving to 55 inch has completely changed the immersion for me. So much so that I am plotting to got to 65 inch screens one day .
This is a nice setup i use 3 monitor also but diffrint type. i use only 2 24inch and 1 27 inch. it's nice to see how good the RTX 3080 and your system run on 3 x 55 inch.
I also had 3 smaller screens but later upgraded . Honestly, it's the same exact fun no matter the screen size. Things just look bigger and prettier ;).
Thanks for another awesome share! Some questions and possible requests:
1. As a baseline, i wonder what FPS you get with your 3080 if just one 4k screen
2. FPS if all 3 monitors set at 2k (and your thoughts on the quality vs all 4k)
3. FPS if all 3 monitors set at 1080p
4. FPS if center monitor set at 2k and sides at 1080p
A friend has achieved great results since upgrading to a 4090 but he only flies with a single monitor at 4k. I'm thinking of maybe splurging on a 4090 this Christmas but only if it'll mean upwards of 60 fps per screen. If not, i'll likely wait 2 years for the 5090 :D
I need to take a bit of a sabbatical for about a week or so but when I return I will try all that you have suggested and put together a video !
Enjoy your much deserved breather. My cables finally arrived today and following your settings (4k center monitor + two 1080p side monitors + instrument panel as a 4th monitor), i happily got 38fps. Great video. A few thoughts. 1) Thank you for the encouraging words to your video card when it was running 3x 4K displays. I'm sure the video card didn't want to feel that it let you down. 2) Any advice for breaking the news to my wife that I need space somewhere for a FS setup with 3x 50" monitors? 3) I'm guessing 3 display setup for MSFS 2020 is new - I've seen videos saying it's not supported (or looks weird/stretched), did they just improve that? 4) What is your PC setup, esp CPU & RAM? Hi Detriot ...Old Jim here from Canada! Yes ....super job ...I needed this. Our systems are pretty much identical. My TV's are 43 inchers ...at 60 Hz. & the same resolution as yours.
I run a 3080 too ...the only difference is my i9 10900KF CPU.
However; It's water cooled & I DO overclock it to 5.0 GHz.
Which make's very little difference because MSFS taxes the Graphics more than the CPU.
BEFORE ...I had to turn the resolution of each window down a fair bit ...& also had to trim graphic detail in many parameters ...with few being on Medium ...& no light shafts or bloom.
But now run the 3 screens at their native resolution of 3840 x 2160 ...a low 4K
& set it identical to your settings in this video. I like the side displays in crisp 4K
These settings gave me an average of 44 fps & it DID hit 50 fps ...rarely mind you.
I'm 100% happy with this performance & will tweak little.
I do a lot of racing so I left my Nvidia on surround ...leaving my triple setup for racing.
I changed everything else in the Nvidia panel that you did though. I did not have a problem
with MSFS ...I run everything "Windowed" The three main windows that make up left, forward & right views can be sized & moved around now ...I leave my menu window open behind them at a smaller size. It takes less graphic resources & I offset the left view window a bit to display a the bottom corner of the menu window so I can see my fps. I have nothing
cluttering up the main 3 views. BUT ...one click on the menu window will display it & you can move it & resize it & leave to see & it will not interfere with things like cockpit interactions.
This works perfect for me. & I don't have to mess with Nvidia settings when I want triple
screens to race. Thanks a million man ...

Jim I shared the same exact feelings about everything you just described I hate playing anything online multiplayer because I can't trust anyone everyone is so rude and out of control. Especially the younger crowd..... I know I'm going to get skewered for saying that but that is just the fact that I've experienced. I'll explain discord to you shortly but the bottom line is you have to download it on your computer and create an account and then I will drop in invite somewhere here in the chat and you'll see. Discord always scared me too because he was another thing I needed to learn but somehow I managed and I think you will too! The most basic way to think of it is discord will allow us to be in one chat room at one time speaking to one another at the same time

Fs2020 got me so god dam mesmerized , i ditched DCS ...gave my joysticks to my father in law. It wasn't my cup of tea but yeah , it looked boss sauce !
PS . VR is ultra immersive but you just can beat 4k on all screens vs pixelation and stutter in the VR head set . And before some one says , i don't have a powerful enough computer or good enough headset ....i disagree...VR is a hassle till we get better and lighter gear !

@aLIeNWaRe pc yeah , i got into this debate on another video , regarding driving actually . The bottom line is ...it's not for me . Not yet . Many people that argue the point have also never experienced triple 4k 55 inch screens either. Once you sit in my rig and see that the field of view encompasses your complete periferial , more than 180 degrees....it's difficult to continue fighting the point. LOL. I've gotten MSFS to use 2 GPUs to drive 3 screens. I drive the center 4K screen off a 3060ti and the two side 1080p screens with a GTX 1070. Task manager shows high utilization of the 1070 when I move the two additional windows onto the side screens.
That is super interesting !!! But question : if my 3080 can run 4k on center and 2 k on the sides ...couldn't yours do the same ? I also learned that it's not our gpus that are the bottleneck but rather the CPU anyways. ( Just a heads up, videos that I put out a week ago or three months ago are completely obsolete new NVIDIA drivers and new updates in the simulator are constantly improving the game. Some of the stuff that I talk in this video has already improved. Using dlss on Ultra performance I'm getting close to 50 frames per second now using triple screen on the same card)
Great video, it has inspired me to go 3x on my FS setup :) I can only fit 50" monitors in and have a i91200K+3080ti so should get similar results i hope. Tried VR but the picture quality is just not there yet.

@@DaSimSimma Seems i may be an idiot? I just ordered three 50" TV's 4K@60Hz refresh with HDMI sockets but I cannot find anything to connect the RTX3080ti Displayport sockets to TV HDMI sockets - any ideas or have i ordered the wrong TV's???
You are the third guy to ask this question this week. my friend the cables are out there!! You need a HDMI to DisplayPort cable that is capable of transmitting 4K at 60 HZ. Go on Amazon be very very careful do lots of research ensure that the claims are valid and then order it my friend. I have returned at least nine cables in the process of trying to figure this whole thing out I have answered this question many times and if even put links but I am at work right now and I cannot duplicate those links to the Amazon cables. This is one example, please be very careful read the reviews make sure that it does what it claims and also please make sure that you get the adequate length you'd be surprised what happens when you spend $350 in TVs on a table one after the other you'd be surprised how quickly 8 ft turns into no feet

great Video. I have i9 12900k and 3080 Ti. I keep front at 4K , side at 2K and preset at Ultra(some times High-End)... and in LAX I get minimum of 28-29. Your guide might make my numbers better... Thanks.. I have a problem since my TV doesn't support Display port I use a Display port to HDMI on one of the TVs and that reduces the quality and also is limited to 1080p. I should find a better converter
They make all sorts of cables that go from DisplayPort to HDMI or the other way around. All of my TVs are hooked up with a cable that's DisplayPort to HDMI and yes they have to be specific cables to work. Just look it up on Amazon I'm sure you will find the appropriate cable!
I went back in my history to give you the exact cable that I use. I kind of forgot what happened but looking through my history I remembered that I had to return at least six cables before I found out right one! Unfortunately the ones that I finally settled with and I'm using today are "not currently available" . Just check this link out and see if you can find a similar item :

You have to be careful that it can transfer 60hz at 4K. This one can only do 30hz at 4K but can do 120hz at 2k. They are all 4 on tvs ! The resolution is lowered in fs2020 for the side screens

Great video. Thanks - But can you help with settings etc. for an AMD RX 6800. I have three 43 inch 4K TCL Roku TVs and have no idea how to get them to 2K. If you can just help with the screens I would be really grateful. I changed to your settings and am getting 30 to 35 fps so need to make the change to 2K.

Hi Don. It is nearly possible for me to help you because I don't have an AMD card. I just googled it for you by typing in : how to switch resolution on an AMD card. For the Nvidia card I right click on the desktop and I change the Nvidia card settings. Inside of there I go to multiple screens, then I select each one and look for a drop-down menu where I can switch resolutions.. Sometimes 2K resolution isn't immediately available but it should resemble something like 2560 x 1440p . For NVIDIA cards sometimes you can add custom resolutions that don't immediately pop up there's a small little button showing a screen in a plus sign. Clicking on that brings up options that are not immediately available, but again that is for Nvidia cards. Sorry friend I know this is a lot of gibberish. Please Google it or search on UA-cam. I wish you luck I really want to help but it is hard because I don't have your same graphics card.

Great! When they can provide a simple full screen view without that silly 3D cockpit showing, I’ll perhaps come back to building a full modelled cockpit. Until then, I’m hooked in VR.

about this. Everyone has their preferences but honestly I love seeing the instruments and partial cabin in front of me. That's the way I feel more immersed. The other reason is no matter how nice my cockpit is, which I will make a video about, it's only one cockpit but the game has 100 planes I can fly. Again, it's all about preference I find immersion in mixing reality with the game some people just want to see the outside View and create their own cockpit
@@DaSimSimma I'm a yrack IR user personally - although I actually use open track and a home built IR LED clip (solid alumunium), one wide single monitor, and the virtual cockpit is awesome.

Did you try enabling frame generation?
I wondered how you were getting the triple screen 4K frame rate when my 3090 will only give about 30fps at 1000 feet over Central Park and Manhatten on FULL ULTRA on single 4K HDR, and it's because you're running maybe Medium average and DLSS at Ultra Performance (= lowest quality)! Unfortunately your GoPro doesn't show the real quality or lack thereof. I found SU10 Beta worse than SU9 so reverted until the real release (hopefully this week or next). Are you running the latest and supposedly final SU10 Beta, and have you tried 4K QUALITY mode?
Hi Colin . As soon as I posted that video I realized that some people don't want the numbers they just want to see the actual outcome so I made another video. Unfortunately the visuals will be there in this video but the numbers are off. Every time you try to do screen capture you will absolutely lose 10 to 15 frames per second especially at high resolution. All that to say please watch the video below and you will see what I saw. Somewhere around the 1:58 or 2:48 mark ( i forget) (by the way these timestamps apply to the video I just linked you to not to this current video) it's really evident especially when the wing tip flies over the water you can see everything get blurry and dlss.

I suppose that if you have three monitors all running at 20FPS then you have an overall workload of 60FPS....so guess it makes sense. So maybe option for 180FPS should give you the 3x 60FPS you want, if you did want it limited.........Just a theory

Bought three 4K 65" TCL 65Q750G 120hz TV for triple montior setup, got a RTX 4090 Asus Strix OC and Intel 13900K CPU, what kind of FPS would you expect running all three in 4K?
First of all.....HELL YEAHHH BRUTHA !!! THATS WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT !!!! I shouldn't speak with certainty because all I know is the 3080 and an i9 9900. What I can do is extrapolate from mine and judge for the increased performance. You will be able to run all games on ultra in True triple 4k and get at least 60 fps and more. You probably will be able to turn down some settings and get towards 100....but that is just a guess . So envious!! Congrats man !!!

Ok with just the three 65" 4K monitors running at full ultra settings and all at 4K, I get about 72 FPS but once I run three more monitors for my airmanger standby guages and two G1000 displays, my FPS drops to 48 to 55 FPS. Still need to play around with settings to find the sweet spot.
My sim rig is similar to your in that my yoke is centered with the panel. My panel is 40” wide so I have the center 55”(47.5” wide) screen centered with the panel and my two side screens are at 90 degrees from the center screens. Your center screen appear to be off center to the left. Could you get us a top down view of your physical setup? Thanks
I know it appears that I'm off center but I am not I can assure you. The problem is I have this custom built panel that has instruments on both sides and when viewed in comparison to the image on the screen my instruments extend too much to the left of making it appear as if I'm sitting to the left. Here's the video of my rig in driving mode. Somewhere around the beginning you see me driving in top view that you can tell the wheel is dead center. That's exactly where the yolk sits it just replaces the wheel it kind of gives you an idea when the panels hang out to the left and right it starts to look a little weird on screen. That's actually my next task is to rebuild my front panel so it looks more even to the screen. At the 2 : 54 mark in the video below

Turn off triple buffering, it just creates latency, and turn on Low Latency. Your screens are 60Hz so within the game, cap FPS at 58 or so and then Vertical Synch in the Nvidia CP set to on.
You cannot cap the game at 60 HZ in triple screen. Correction. You can do it, but you shouldn't because if you've tried it, you would notice that each screen gets divided and capped at 30 frames. Don't ask me why? Also, don't ask me why the game 4 years later continuously crashes when you change a video setting. I know exactly what you're explaining, but there's a tremendously huge bug that's no one's addressed. I've messed with it over the years over and over and I always get to the same point. You cannot have frame rate cap. Also, thank you for commenting, but please realize that these videos are moments in time so a lot has happened and I've tried a lot more since I've made this video. As to say something I said in this video might not be totally true today

My Intel has been performing awesome. One of my best friends has a Ryzen and he's also swearing by it. The internet suggests that Verizon is better for gaming but again, if you get something that it stop with the line I'm not really sure that you will see the difference.

Setting up three screens that are not the same size has to be carefully done in Windows first. Right click on the desktop and then left click on display settings. Window walk am up showing old reviews creams you can rabden and sloading of in open the own. Because your side screens are a little bit smaller than your Center screen you need to tell the computer how they sit in relation to each other. After you do that you can make smaller adjustments in your flight simulator. I really hope that helps you if not holler back we'll try to help you out

Hi Nelson. The best answer i can think of right now is : EMPTY YOUR COMMUNITY FOLDER! Up untill yesterday , it would take my game almost 3 minutes to load. Sometimes it would almost finish leading but than crash. I went into my community folder and deleted most of my add-ons and it fixed everything. Faster uploads and no more crash. Try moving your addon to the desktop ( if you want to save them) than try again ! Good luck friend !

I'm running have 3080 12GB 0C, 5800x, 32gb ram and for some reason running a 27" Multi-monitor test with just 2 x 2k monitors my frame rates are really bad, like laggy skipping. am I doing something wrong with the settings? I'm running dlss too :/ can't figure out why it's laggy with just 2x 27 inch monitors :/
I made this video before the update came out officially plus the new Nvidia driver. I'm not trying to rub it in but I am now getting in the high 40s all the way to 50 fps. And...... I am now running a fourth screen which I used to pop out the Garmin navigation screens! One thing that I was told that I did not know is you could be CPU bound. This game is not optimized at all to utilize all of the threads and cores of the CPU only using one or two. All the calculations get done in the CPU then the GPU renders the image. If the CPU is the bottleneck you're just not getting the most out of your 3080. The only other hope that I have for you is that you slowly and easily go through your Nvidia settings and also your flight simulator settings and try to slowly mess around and reduce some of your demands until it starts to provide a better frame rate. I wish I had the magic pill man but just like the rest of us just takes a lot of back and forth until you figure it out. Keep in touch and let me know if it really doesn't work out I might try to do another video to just show you all of my settings

When I first got the game I remember writing to them on Steam and asking for my money back because of the same reason I'm being dead serious. But now it's one of my best driving games ever. Let's help you out. I know I'm going to start with the simple shit but we got to get through this and then if that doesn't work I'll make it video for you. First and foremost make sure that you are using Nvidia surround which connects all three monitors together. Second, make sure to set your resolution that is appropriate to your screen size or downscale to another appropriate resolution. Meaning make sure that you don't scale to a resolution that turns a circle into an oval if you know what I'm saying make sure it's a one-to-one. Then, inside the game make sure to use the exact same resolution as you picked for NVIDIA surround or an appropriate downscaled resolution that's a one to one down scale from the original. I'm pretty sure that you are already doing this but we have to start with the small stuff. Lastly there are different views make sure you're in the interior view. Let me know how this works otherwise I'm going to make a video for you it should take me a few days

Nice video thank for sharing. I also run a triple monitor setup with 3x27" at 1920x1080. I am running Nvidia surround and get much better fps than setting it up with 3 seperate screens. I followed your settings and still have a drop with at least half frame rate than in surround mode. Running an i7 9700k at 4.5GHz with a 3080. Usually I get around 30-40fps in surround mode and about 10-20 fps in multiscreen mode. Any suggestions?
Hi Chris. I understand you are running Nvidia surround but that probably means that you're not running proper triple screen setup. Which means your images are stretched instead of properly projected. You can do proper three screen projection in Nvidia surround by making each window of the game play in windowed mode. But, all of this leads you back to three separate Windows which will definitely drop your frame rate there is no way around it. I do have a video that shows how to properly set up triple screen for FS 2020 I will link it bellow. Again, if you want proper "not stretched" triple screen play , you have to use the game in 3 windows which unfortunately is a drag on your gpa , but , that's the only way to do it .

You are absolutely correct it's definitely not flyable at 15 fps. So I think we have the same gpu? What CPU do you have I have an i-9 9900. As we often are reminded this game is heavily bound by the CPU since it only uses one thread. Don't make me explain what I just wrote I'm just repeating what people tell me. Hahaha. But I'm stupid enough to understand that it means the CPU could be your bottleneck. I mean clearly you see my settings and you can copy them and we have pretty similar rigs so I'm extremely curious why you're getting such low frame rates

In theory , you should ! The game doesn't lock you into traditional aspect ratios as long as it's available in the drop-down menu which is usually driven by windows then yeah in theory you could add three of them

Nvidia DLSS super performance give you 720p resolution on fact you can check it on devmod… so it’s easy to get 40fps
DLSS forces a game to render at a lower resolution (typically 1440p) and then uses its trained AI algorithm to infer what it would look like if it were rendered at a higher one (typically 4K). It does this by utilizing some anti-aliasing effects (likely Nvidia's own TAA) and some automated sharpening.
Hi mate, I like my main screen zoomed In so you can’t see the flight panels in sim as I use a homemade cockpit with Logitech panels (like you) but as soon as I tab out a display to my iPad (speed and altitude) it halves my fps immediately and brings me to a stuttering mess, you can continue to tab further displays out to other screens/iPads and it doesn’t get worse, it’s just the first tab out. Any idea of a fix? I’ve asked asobo and msfs on Twitter and never had a reply :(
This is going to be a long explanation of which I have only gone halfway and plan to follow through but hear me out. You're probably using zendesk or space desk or something similar to expand your desktop onto tablets. I did the same thing and I have the same result it's very much defeating. Then I learned the following: your graphics card usually has four outputs three display ports and one HDMI. As soon as you use the HDMI for another monitor you arrive at the same problem low fps. I found out that most motherboards have two display out one HDMI and one displayport. You have to go into your bios setting by hitting the end or the F4 key or whichever appropriate key for your motherboard. You have to go through the settings and enable those two outputs on your motherboard. You now essentially have six possible video card outputs. The internet and all of its powers told me that using those two will not reduce your graphic power FPS output. I have enabled them and I have tested it and I have to tell you that it didn't necessarily work as they promise. The FPS still went down but not as drastically as using an iPad and extending your desktop to it. I do have faith in this and plan to test it soon again and possibly upgrade and add a couple 10 inch displays. There are many videos on UA-cam showcasing how this works. If you follow through with this before me please come back here and let me know I'm very much curious. I hope this will make sense to you I used to speak to text as I am in a big hurry...cheers friend !
PS in the meantime FOR ANALOG GUAGE PLANES , please look into SimDashboard and then look up Cessna 172 or 152 or " Cristian farcas' (my name).I made a couple $ick ass gauges that I'm not going to lie ....look pretty freaking awesome ! cuz I made them. Lmao ;) sim dashboard use Wi-Fi and Bluetooth so you will get no FPS drop. I need to make a video about this very soon to show you the power of this awesomeness! I know this is not as authentic of as popping out panels but it will get the job done for now good luck!!

@@DaSimSimma Hi sir, thank you for the swift reply, I’ve just looked into enabling those extra ports on the motherboard but it says you need onboard graphics with your cpu for it to work (Google info) and my cpu doesn’t have built in graphics, i7 10700k _ Also I used spacedesk to send the display to my tablet yes, but the problem gets no worse with spacedesk, it’s as soon as I Alt and tab out the display the fps halves, even if I leave the tabbed out display on the main screen, I run a 1440p monitor and 2 1080p side monitors on my card, the 2070super ventus, which isn’t obviously great I know :( But my brother runs a 3080 with 2 displays at 1440p and his sim does the same thing, it definitely seems like a major bug :( If there’s anything else I could try please do let me know, I’ve even tried running all displays at low res etc and nothing seems to fix it :(
I stand corrected :( Through device manager my cpu wasn’t showing as it had onboard graphics but according to intels website it actually does, so I’ll play about in the bios and see if that changes anything :)

I will answer this question with a lot of certainty but please remember it's just my research and my opinion. Your card is the equivalent of a Nvidia 3070 TI the research shows. I personally have a 3080 which is just a small step above a 3070 ti. Knowing that my 30 80 runs three screens very very well I have no doubt that your AMD graphics card will be able to handle three screens.. to make you feel better I was running three 1440p screens using my 2080 super which is a lot less of a card than you have.. lastly Sim update 11 will come with FSR by AMD which is a super sampling program that will give your graphics card a break and make things run a lot faster and a lower cost to your graphics card. Btw i get the same FPS with a 3080 on 4k that you are getting with triples... This game is i think either poorly optimized or it's CPU heavy, however i don't think that's the case as you are running an i9 and my system has a 5900x which both could handle more then well. The fact that 1080p is within the same range as 2k resolution means either an Bottleneck somewhere which i highly doubt or bad optimization. My guess is the last one.
If you try other games your FPS will probably double.
Yeah it's freaking crazy and cannot be explained. I have looked into my CPU at worst that sucker is capping at 35% and I have many other things running in the background utilizing CPU akso. My mind is boggled right about now ...

My CPU load caps around 35% no higher no matter what I do so it's not a bottleneck there GPU is a 96 or more in memories at 40%. Again I know I could be wrong but I don't think it's my machine I think it's just the way the game is optimized. Let's please remember that it's in beta so nothing is guaranteed

1. Most computer graphics cards only have 4 outlets , you are correct.
Most computers also have 1 HDMI output on the mother board. Does your have it ? If yes, it has to be activated through a specific process using the BIOS. I'm working on making a video to show that.
If you manage to activate it then you will have five of them in total.
Here is the part that I don't understand, what do you mean three screens and two tablets? Tablets cannot be hooked up to computers to receive video signal. Do you mean two additional smaller screens?.
I have personally now evolved to three main screens and one smaller touch screen. My three main TVs are hooked up to my graphics card. And my touch screen is hooked up to the motherboard HDMI output.
Here is a video showing my latest setup. I don't talk about it in detail how I did it but I am working on a video to show you this. Just so you know if you hook up more displays to the graphics card it will run slower and slower. If you start using the HDMI from the motherboard/cpu you will relieve some pressure from the GPU. You certainly can ! My CPU and GPU seem to be able to handle it so I run 4k on center and the detail is exquisite !
Looks like you're CPU limited at @2K and below so you won't gain frames unless you upgrade your CPU, then you'd likely see a difference between 2K and 1080.

1. I've tried all permutations that is why I make these videos. I try to share the best outcome ( in my opinion)
2.on one hand you say: don't do 2 k on the sides and 4 k in the center because that would be noticeable. But on the other hand you say : scale down from 4k to 2k on all screens "it won't be noticeable" .Your statements are not congruent my friend. I promise I am not trying to put you down or be combative. Once you have 3 55inch 4k screens that have awesome 4k resolution , you quickly start to understand the battle to try to OUTPUT AS MUCH 4K content as possible. The game looks stunning in 4k . And ...much like real life, the side screens are often used as periferial vision. Just like real life ...periferial vision isn't exactly as important or as sharp as your central vision .

No . I have a bezel free kit so you can't tell where one screen ends and one starts . Go to my UA-cam front page and you will se a video about my custom built sim room and what's all in it
@@DaSimSimma ok, I will do that, does it explain how to adjust the point-of-view angles on the two side monitors?. I can't seem to figure out the two side monitors. But that's also because my two side monitors are in portrait. So its an Ultrawide 2K in the middle, and two 27" 2K monitors in upright mode (portrait mode) on the two sides. So I really need just a portion on the sides because the middle Ultrawide "splits the two side monitors -- Like the Letter "H" , I was able to do just one additional rendered window and then stretch it between all monitors and "SNAP" it and the resolution is just perfect and its fast as hell, but unfortunately the switches (mouse clicking the screen) won't work because they are off by a measure of the stretch distance. Anyway, I guess I could tilt them 90 degrees but it would be wrapping around and WAY around. It would be best to keep it in the "H" configuation

I do notice that my two side screens (the book-ends of the "H" if you will) are probably not even 45 degrees. I'm going to see if I have a protractor so I can measure.
@@DaSimSimma Your video was great. I will tell you this, my 3-monitor setup now is on an entirely different level. My 2 side 27" portrait mode wide-screens are now cranking in full 2560x1440 mode with the 3440x1440 ultra-wide-curved center screen. A lot of fiddling with all three sliders (due to me only having the monitors at, 35 degrees or something like that (haven't measured). On each side monitor, all three sliders are crucial and so I used your adjustments for the MSFS Graphics settings (haven't changed the nVidia yet). My frame rates are hovering around 60, or 50 to 60 when at airports (4090). So doing the matching to the side monitors is a chore. But it's incredible because I can anticipate airports and see so much more. Now, as I said previously, I had this working (sorta) with stretching just one additional window, then snapping to perfect resolution, but again, the knobs were all off as far as the mouse-click locations. Now I've got two windows configured for the side monitors in msfs multiple monitor setup and it's great!!!! I used your advice on eye level, other advice, and MSFS graphics settings. A GREAT trade-off as far as the settings go. So because the sides are portrait wide-screens, I can see down out through the bottom of the side door windows and all the way up to the bottom of the top panel switches in the Wilga. Flying through bush country in Idaho Oregon, and other top bush areas is just next-level now. Thanks so much, you gave me new hope for the MSFS experimental monitor settings.

I think his system runs really cool like under 80c. Most gpus overheat and thermal throttle causing stutters and dropped frames because they haven't adequate cooling either because fan, or case is not efficient.
I'm super frosty in my system . Long story short i made some fanchanges and am running no hitter than 55 to 60 C . It's quite incredible...last year i was topping 84...not sure how i didn't fry my stuff
@@DaSimSimma yeah this is true, it's amazing how much smoother everyone's pc would run if only they improved their thermal efficiency just by that alone!
@@fobypawz418 I don't know how to say this..... In my MSI afterburner I had the fan clicked on manual and it was on 20% speed for a year straight please don't judge.... After learning and resetting it I also upgraded my fans inside the computer. And lastly.... And this is really messed up.... My water cooler for the CPU has two fans one of the fans was unplugged please don't ask me why I found out while upgrading to my 3080.... Again not sure how it happened but I'm so glad I found out
@@DaSimSimma at least you discovered this, some will never thinking that they have to spend lots of money to upgrade when all they had to do was make a few tweaks. Also, if one were to buy the highest end cpu and gpu, they don't even have to over-clock anything, as long as they can keep it running at the temps you run at, they should be fine! Delidding, using expensive custom water cooling loops etc. Total unnecessary unless they are into professional tournament fps games which requires the highest fps, but wow what a money rabbit hole that is!
What was CPU load for all those cases? You may be bottlenecked by CPU
My CPU never goes above 35 percent ....
I just checked again and filmed it...no more than 35 % cpu load. 90 to 95 GPU load and 45% memory. I quickly lowered everything to low settings and that baby IS FLYING !!!! No pun intended ....60fps or more ;)

We are all getting different results due to the complexity of this game and the massive variety of setting we have and can have different between us. Btw I downloaded the new NVIDIA driver last night . I am getting 42 fps on the ground and 56 to 58 in the air .
Also, when you say "Not my result" what do you mean ? Please tell us a bit more ? Are you getting worse results ? Better results ? If it's better can you tell us what your doing ? Let's share knowledge friend !
