the only reason for me right now to study ACE is GreenMag mod it is actually incredible that a milsim game doesn't have mag repack functionality out of the box how's that even possible? yet anyway, great material, man, thanx a lot for this tutorial - at least i'm starting to get somewhere with this ACE monstrosity

To be honest, Arma 3 by itself isn’t really great but the amazing community more than makes up for it. The stuff they created for this game is just amazing. Vanilla Arma is unplayable.

Actually what you have is a childhood split between the US and England and about 6 years of time as an English radio DJ and another 10 as a radio DJ in the US and you have that wacky accent:) The wife doesn’t like the English part disappears with more time being spent in the US!!!!

I am going through the campaign with this mod and either the accuracy or the bullet damage is way off because I can put like 8 to 10 rounds into an enemy and sometimes that will kill them sometimes it takes less.. I know I am not that terrible of a shot, is this a settings issue or a glitch? Is it normal when running the mod??
um help idownload ace3 with CBA when i run it on .. this one pop up [ arma 3 file a3\functions_f\debug\fn_isDebugConsoleAllowed.sqf not found. any help im using arma 3 apex ... by the way i dowload the latest ace 3 and cba should i use the old ones ?
Hi! I know this is unrelated question but I have a problem accessing the Ace 3 mod! I can't configure it via addons settings in eden editor or even during playing scenario in editor! Same with other mods like Zeus! The configure addons button is unaccessible and greyed out! But the Launcher loaded these mods!!!! Please help! I have a non-steam version!
If you're asking about the color and saturation levels, these are adjusted when editing the video. We do allow members to use client side mods to adjust the appearance though.

I hope you don't mind me asking here,I'm not playing that much so I don't want to enter the squad but your equipment is awesome
@@Umro1 This is a great place to ask! The DAPS and Chinook are CUP, Cobra/Viper and Littlebird are RHS, everything else is Arma and its DLC's. Everything is retextured. We use the weasel (Nyx) and Stomper occasionally and Falcon drones quite a bit. We launch many of our ops from an LHD, which is in the CUP modpack, but we use the Atlas version for various reasons. We also use the destroyer as a weapons platform for support. Weapons systems are a mix of CUP and RHS, MK17's are CUP and the AR RHS. That's pretty much it!

Not sure if you can play Arma 3 without Steam. But if you can, it should be easy enough to make sure ACE is enabled in your mods and play it to your hearts content.
All I see is a bunch of useless options that distracts the shooting point of the game with reading manuals. Why would you make simple things difficult.
Because people game for different reasons and indeed play this game for an abundance of reasons... While it's not my cup of tea, it's super easy to see some people play Arma to dress up in the cool military gear, others play it to simulate warfare engagements which are often long, tedious, hard affairs. I'd reckon folks like you and I play it to enjoy the realistic weapon mechanics, sounds, engagement distances, and battlefields. For many, this mod will make the game more nuanced, which heightens the realism and immersion factor. Plus, this seems customizable.

When i press number 3 just like you did in the video to bind the key for rifle, it just binds key 7 which is used to select non frag grenade.
I play in the editor a lot, and cant seem to figure out how to use ace to command AI. I may have missed this in the video coz I skimmed it a bunch

You're probably missing Community Based Addons (CBA). It's required for ACE3.
