Pillboxes are kind of annoying, because when I went to put few AA guys just in case to my HQ, they always spawn inside that pillbox. You can also set up emplacement/roadblock and drive that vehicle yourself there. Nice guide again, with so many people buying this game during summer sale :)
I have two tips to add on to this: 1. Never put Petros and the Arsenal in the same room. It's rare, but occasionally it's possible for people to shoot or throw a grenade by mistake when doing Arsenal stuff. Doing this could kill Petros if he's too close to the Arsenal. 2. Never leave the Arsenal outside. Ensure it's in a building that has a solid roof (so not a tent). I've noticed in all the Antistasi mods, the Arsenal occasionally bugs out and tries to fly away. You don't want this, it's a huge annoyance and inconvenience. Don't take the risk, put it in a building. Those are my 2 base tips.
I thought you can't throw grenades 50m radius from base, maybe that's just antistasi plus thing. Had my garage fly away one time because my car was too close to petros, and arsenal dissapeared only once during my 4-500 hours.

Make sure it’s fully loaded before driving away, I’ve done this once before and I found it where I last parked the van 🤣 Other than that I’m not sure, only other issue I did have was trying to load it with troops already in a vehicle, so load the box first then the troops. Hope one of these helps haha
I generally take it out and walk it around to get everything when I’ve finished fighting (depending on the size of the battle) so yeah afterward I would load it back up but then wait for the pop up confirming it’s in the cargo. Then drive away.

I’ve never noticed it myself, then again I generally skip the night cycle so only play during day time. Have you tried shooting it ? It could burst the light. You would have to do this each time when loading in though if it did work. Other than that it might not be possible 🙂
Are camo nets any good for hiding static weapons from drones and air recon planes? Also what things will the arms dealer actually buy? It seems he dont want to buy anything from me..
Tbh I’ve never tested the camo nets so I’m not actually sure on that haha. If you’ve unlocked the item they won’t buy it as far as I’m aware, other than that not use why they wouldn’t.

Hey man, love the content! Do you have any tips for beginning of the game? Im trying really hard (I Just Picked up on Arma) but I cant get past the first missions often. I only pick up logistics & supplies (as I heard in something other guide) but I cant even get through that. The cities are full of enemy soldiers, and I with my medic (cant take more in an offroad) Simply get overwhelmed. Alot of these missions are right next to their outposts so they receive MG support from over couple hundred meters, which I cannot overcome with the PDW :( Im struggling to get any equipment whatsoever, all I can do is Roadblocks. Do you have any tips on how to do engagements overall?
It should be there by default, verify the game files via steam, I did have a couple issues with AU when it was first updated not long ago. I verified and it seemed fine from then on.
Do you recommend this game over arma reforger? As a newbie starting out with arma. I tried arma 2 and refunded it immediately. Because of the driving mechanics and jankiness. But i see arma 3 is way way better looking.
If you have arma 3 and haven't played it fully then your missing out. I dont play mp i only played the campaign and then i played antistasi along with a few other gaming options that the mod community have made..i love antistasi ultimate so much ive played over 200 hours on just that.

I was told Antistasi Ultimate was the better option QoL and faction wise but when I try to create a game it literally has less factions available (even when overriding the default for each map) with the same mods (CUP and RHS in my case) and worse yet some factions just don't exist as for example one favourite scenario of mine is CDF vs ChDKZ as occupiers and invaders, ChDKZ is only available as rival rebel faction. Come on, not even available as a playable rebel faction. I just don't understand why most people play Ultimate instead of community, even the said QoL can be done by other mods like stamina and mag repack and some even better as ultimate only has options for sway or no sway but nothing about reducing sway by let's say 50% and the loot crates not only being more expensive but surrendered soldiers crates don't count as loot crates, now good luck early game fitting a loot crate and supply box on the back of a Offroad at the same time or having to manually loot each surrender crate while the game spawn patrols and more police into your position. Anyway, just a rant, your videos are still being mostly helpful on my community solo run. Keep the great work
Suggest these things to the modders, they might be happy to hear this feedback and adjust ultimate somewhat. The never had more troops/police spawning on my position when looting a cleared area, for me surrendered troops crates are auto looted with a loot crate tbh I’ve not used other mods on this series but I’ve been testing for the next series and I’ve had little to no issues with them. There’s a whole host of compatible mods over on their website/discord. Everyone can rant I don’t mind as long as it’s keep respectful towards others 🙂 Appreciate the support on the channel 🫡
Tried community as well, sorry to say but i really disliked it. I'm the opposite, i dont understand why people play community over ultimate. But i guess thats why its really to each his own. Last time i played CE (over a year back) i hated that the looting was still a tedious process. With ultimate its just 1 easy action and no need to worry about loot box space etc. I can just loot and scoot. Also the rally point, being able to control my squad/HC, being able to customize my rebel faction loadout, buy stuff from the arms dealer, not just my faction stuff. These are all features in ultimate i could not live without in CE. Not sure if theres any changes since the last time i played, but once i tried both at the time, it was a no brainer which I should pick. Could i use mods for the above? Maybe, although there are some which would not be possible from the way i see it. But why would I want to go through all that trouble when ultimate is perfectly capable of satisfying what i'm looking for?
Don't know about the factions, as it's been a bit since I played community, but I just got into Ultimate, and I can say for sure the surrender crates count just fine for the auto loot box. You'll notice the surrender crate despawn once it's been looted. Though, it does ignore vehicle cargo which is a tad annoying for looting enemy transports, but understandable as you don't want to suck all your gear out of your active truck. Also, you can purchase the loot crate from the flags at any base, not just your HQ. So if you forget your loot crate when attacking a resource point, you can buy a new one there.
1:25 I remember what happened when SovietWomble used mortars on the HQ. The game was over quickly.

Yeah I tend not to man the HQ with men for this reason, also because they drag unwanted attention towards HQ if they spot enemy etc

Go over to any friendly flag, use the scoll wheel when looking at it and it’ll give you an option for recruit.
Can then pick your squad mates 🙂

All depends on your preferences, there’s downsides to arma 3 but has so much more to offer over reforger. Definitely worth picking up imo
Arma 3 is highly recommend. You have tons of content and mods. It's some good mods in Reforger, but it lack luster

When I look in the red crate I can’t select a vehicle it says 0 on all anyone know what’s up?
If you don’t have vehicles stored yet then you’ll have to buy them. You can collect vehicles and store them from HQ or outpost areas 👌

Sounds like there might just be something wrong with your install of the mod. I've never noticed any reduced faction availability.
