@@Tone32616 I don't think there's a way to pause the newer versions. They're all online only. But I play solo all the time just using a LAN server. Yeah you can't pause but to me it's a very minor annoyance
just curious is ultimate buggy for you? I tried starting with that but it was buggy for me medics wouldn't auto heal or sometimes wouldn't heal me, I started a new playthrough on the original, seems less buggy and easier imo
@@SgtEvarsmann off all the recent versions this one seems to work the best for me. And ultimate has the option to switch to your IA guys temporarily when you go down so you can just heal yourself when they don't want to cooperate. In every version I've noticed some issues with your squad not doing what you want them to do but this one works the most consistently. Do you have any mods for IA behavior running at the same time?

Solo ACE is kind of awful though. I usually do ACE no medical as it has a lot of good features, but if you use it for solo play you basically are the medic. You might as well forget the whole campaign and just accept youre RPing a combat medic at that point.
I personally recommend Antistasi Ultimate over plus. Ultimate is a build off of Plus with even more features, and is still updated. Supports more maps, factions and more.
as a noob who just started playing Arma 3 with Antistasi with my friends, it is wild. he had me download 80gbs of mods and it is hectic fun. it is so odd doming a USMC soldier from 30 yards with a 12guage slug. Thanks for a good heads up for if i decide to do a Solo run!

I've starting playing plus recently and am having some fun progressing. Running RHS and CUP units and not much else. Good to watch these vids so you can learn the many things like ctrl-T. But looks like I'll do my first campaign on plus. I've got 2000 hours on Arma 3 mostly King of the Hill, Wastelands and Exile. Would recommend plus so far and go learn from vids so you can learn all the stuff you can do.

I never play with ACE. Not only is it common to hear that it breaks Antistasi, but the medical system is a bit too complex. At least there's an option to not have medical in it. I HIGHLY don't recommend it for solo play, since it's good for realism, but ARMA bots are anything but realistic. And if you take a shot to the face there's always the chance that the AI won't help you. And if an AI goes down then you'll have to fumble around in menus for a way longer time trying to patch that AI up. All the while your other AI are fumbling around getting themselves lit up. I'd say that having the vanilla med system is much better in terms of gameplay, especially for solos. And most of the other things that ACE allows you to do, the Antistasi Plus (Ultimate) mod already lets you do.
This mod is gold send, being able to parkour and actually scale buildings/obstacles with a pretty decent animation is a must. Not sure why it was missed, maybe OP never seen it. Also I've faced almost no issues with it, other than some clipping which is partly due to Arma 3's collision/physics.
Really good modlist! But I would add some other things to make it more interesting: 1: AI avoids prone, as the name says, this stops AI from immidiatly going prone when shot at and makes them look for actual cover instead. 2: Dynamic weather and camoflauge: The first one is pretty much self explaining, the second one, if you are blind as fuck like me, this will make your enemies a bit more blind too, basically if you got a camo that respects the envirorment you are in, the AI will take a bit longer to notice you, and I'm pretty sure this works on allied AI for enemies too

No I use ACE NO MEDICAL because medical is too much like I healed my buddy and had to wait like 15 minutes for him to get up again, its like "I cleaned you up, patched wound gave you blood... uh another epipen? Oh I gave you a heart attack doing that...

Lambs danger is usable on antistasi, just need to tweak some options in it but I'm playing with it on our campaign with some friend and dear god it's amazing I ccan't play without it now.. sadly antistasi taviana doesn't support it :(

antistasi ultimate is way better ngl. Been playing with plus but swapped to ultimate cuz plus ( from what i observed ) it is no longer being updated its way better trust Also if you are like me and love the 2035 aesthetic, there is a group of mods compatible with Antistasi Ultimate called AEGIS Honestly solves alot of the base factions lack of content
Ultimate is the go-to since plus isnt getting updated anymore. Also i dont agree with ace. Its a massive pain in the butt when playing solo. Id also recommend automatic view distance over CH and JSRS soundmod over improved game sounds

Everything is a compromise with Antistasi. If you play plus you're stuck with civilians running around everywhere accumulating more and more the longer you play and lagging up the server. If you play on ultimate then you lose the 300 second timer when switching between squads as commander or units as team leader.
ace pharmacy is no longer fully supported and will soon lose all support for it, this is because the owner made the mod because KAT wasnt very customisable, however now its very customisable so the owner of ace pharmacy said himself that he just uses KAT for his group and just changes the settings to get it like ace pharmacy TLDR: ace pharmacy losing support, just use ACE or KAT and mess with the KAT settings to make it like ace pharmacy
Have they at all improved anti stasi for solo? I remember the older versions were a lot more better to play solo but the newer felt like dog to play alone in ie traitor missions and raiding the player base even though there's no way they could of seen the base and various other minor things. Also mega miss foreign support mode as much as I think BlevOpvReb is cool being able to call in support was a cool feature.
The old version was great. The code may have been outdated, but I managed to bash together a version where I fought chedakis early game before moving on to Russian regulars and VDV. It had a real civil war/insurgency vibe. Plus the trader mission was super fun, outrunning special forces to get to him.
Some are server side, some client. I normally just check the steam page in the comments or a rule of thumb is if it physically adds something to the game then it is probably server side and if it is just a visual effect then it is client side.
Voice control one looks nice but I gave it a try and it doesnt come up green when i press to talk so it doesnt work. Maybe I'm just an idiot, I dunno, I set it up like the author said to.
Question, The RHS FACTIONS mods, it says to enable the right CDLC (?) for it to work, and says im missing addons for like the vehicles or whatever. Ive checked the mods and there are no vehicles/weapon packs that I'm missing, so i guess, whats the trick to using it? The factions are grayed out, and im not sure what that means. :(
How’d you get ace to work with antistasi? My friends and I wanted to use it, but it was quite buggy with antistasi ultimate. We were having weird problems like enemies taking 12-15 shots to go down, with nothing but a chest rig
Check the ace medical settings in server client settings make sure they are checked as overwrite client in the settings. You can access them before you boot the server. I've messed with tons of settings certain things won't be enabled by default you can just browse them and see. I believe there is a ballistic penetration setting for armor and there is a coefficient number I think it's supposed to be set to 1 or 3 I can't remember it's been so long.
Bit of a late reply, but- @RaidensPMC, yeah, the server was somewhat heavily modded, and I changed a few of ace medical’s settings to try and make it more antistasi-friendly, but in hindsight probably caused some of the issues. @TheWorldWarrior Thank you for the advice, will have to try the next time the boys are up for some antistasi
i have downloaded these mods i use antisasi ultimate are these mods you have linked all thats needed or is there any others that can be added to help in game my friend and i play as co op but find it difficult with the lack of proper weapons etc

@@RaidensPMC Sog AI ruins action menu, AI not see through grass gives incompatible warning, alingn is not found via server publish list so other players can't identify it.
@@yannara Ah i am not sure sorry man, I don't use Sog AI as most AI mods are incompatible with antistasi but align should be fine, nearly every server I play on uses it. Are you on a dedicated server? maybe a server config issue?
I wonder if I have u beat with a Paper wait PC. I have a I7700 with 32 gig of ram, a 12 gig 3060. Trying to play Arma Lag Fest and a 32 inch 165 Refresh rate 2k Monitor.

Does anyone have experience with Anti Ulti and Zeus? I don`t like the building system of Antistasi so I fortify my bases with Zeus but at a specific amount of objects I place Arma is deleting old objects. Does anyone has a workaround for that?
For Antistasi you need to go into the commander menu and navigate left and you will see "persistant save" down the bottom. I think the default bind for commander menu is backslash. I have mine binded elsewhere.
@ThunDoom1116 only soldiers in my experience, and only SLs/officers. I got intel pretty regularly from raiding resource points, which are more lightly defended.
why cant they just make this game for a broader public with graphics from the 20ies? Mods here and obscure nerdy forums there, and MAYBE if you X and Y togheter With Z its a "playable" milsim. Whats the problem? COD and BF have decided to cater to the Nicki Minaj shoot adhd FPS 12 yo kids, so there is an open goal in those who want a milsim.
I prefer antisasi ultimate. Has all the features in plus that I'm aware of, but offers more support for factions and maps, like IFA3

Platoon leader for directing the whole resistance while you take part in combat. Ace no medical to not be a medic. Fpv crocus and good to go haha

I also like to use Brighter Flares. It makes flares realistic and actually a valid tool to use durring night ops.

Vindicta has plenty of awesome mechanics that are lacking in antistasi, but itself is not well made (its abandoned and still in alpha)

I changed LAMBS a few months ago for DCO. I like it better than LAMBS since it has more features in terms of Ai behavior.

use AMZ for sound mod and simple suppress if you feel like the suppress mod is a bit too much

The different mods are basically the different factions so just choose which factions you want.

idk, old version miss alot of features, and i didnt have a problem with base raiding without AI seeing it.
I find this version a bit more challenging compared to the previous ones. I could easily cheese the AI even in Extreme difficulty.
The old version was great. The code may have been outdated, but I managed to bash together a version where I fought chedakis early game before moving on to Russian regulars and VDV. It had a real civil war/insurgency vibe. Plus the trader mission was super fun, outrunning special forces to get to him.
If using on a server, do all of these mods need to be used on the server? Or are some of these client side?
Some are server side, some client. I normally just check the steam page in the comments or a rule of thumb is if it physically adds something to the game then it is probably server side and if it is just a visual effect then it is client side.
does anyone know how to turn off the hit marker that makes sound and X symbol every time you hit an enemy?
Can't use ace I play on GeForce Now cloud gaming that mod won't work. Just learned the voice mod won't work either 😔
Can you add RHS to an existing save or would you need to restart from scratch?

Voice control one looks nice but I gave it a try and it doesnt come up green when i press to talk so it doesnt work.

What map was used in the video?
Question, The RHS FACTIONS mods, it says to enable the right CDLC (?) for it to work, and says im missing addons for like the vehicles or whatever. Ive checked the mods and there are no vehicles/weapon packs that I'm missing, so i guess, whats the trick to using it? The factions are grayed out, and im not sure what that means. :(

How’d you get ace to work with antistasi? My friends and I wanted to use it, but it was quite buggy with antistasi ultimate. We were having weird problems like enemies taking 12-15 shots to go down, with nothing but a chest rig
That is strange, never had a probkem myself. Did u change some ace medical settings possibly?
Check the ace medical settings in server client settings make sure they are checked as overwrite client in the settings. You can access them before you boot the server. I've messed with tons of settings certain things won't be enabled by default you can just browse them and see. I believe there is a ballistic penetration setting for armor and there is a coefficient number I think it's supposed to be set to 1 or 3 I can't remember it's been so long.
Bit of a late reply, but- @RaidensPMC, yeah, the server was somewhat heavily modded, and I changed a few of ace medical’s settings to try and make it more antistasi-friendly, but in hindsight probably caused some of the issues.

i have downloaded these mods i use antisasi ultimate are these mods you have linked all thats needed or is there any others that can be added to help in game my friend and i play as co op but find it difficult with the lack of proper weapons etc
Sorry for the late reply. There isn't really any that help in game that I have left out I don't think, the only ones I left out of the vid are just dependencies that it will prompt you to download anyway
It seems some mods might not be compatible with Antistasi Ultimate. We have some issues with this list.
Hmmm that is strange I played Antistasi Ultimate with the same list on Sumava just the other day and it was fine.
@@RaidensPMC Sog AI ruins action menu, AI not see through grass gives incompatible warning, alingn is not found via server publish list so other players can't identify it.
@@yannara Ah i am not sure sorry man, I don't use Sog AI as most AI mods are incompatible with antistasi but align should be fine, nearly every server I play on uses it. Are you on a dedicated server? maybe a server config issue?
About Aling, it is workshop publish issue, not server issue. I have been managing windows dedicated servers for some time now :)

@@SIRKHEEM Arma 3 plays not bad, just I keep too many mods in so it takes a little to load. So many Great mods for the game, I have a Hard time choosing. Wish Arma 3 work better with mods. Or I'm not doing it right. Not a Mod Expert.
I wonder how ACE Pharmacy would work with Ai. I haven't gotten Ai medics to do their job properly. Maybe there's something wrong I'm doing. If anyone has tips let me know.
Pharmacy is deprecated now. Best to use KAT medical and adjust it to a level that suits you. As far as the AI goes, they are just dumb haha

Does anyone have experience with Anti Ulti and Zeus? I don`t like the building system of Antistasi so I fortify my bases with Zeus but at a specific amount of objects I place Arma is deleting old objects. Does anyone has a workaround for that?

For Antistasi you need to go into the commander menu and navigate left and you will see "persistant save" down the bottom. I think the default bind for commander menu is backslash. I have mine binded elsewhere.

You need to search intel in dead/surrendered officers. It has a chance to give a quest to find an arms dealer.

@ThunDoom1116 only soldiers in my experience, and only SLs/officers. I got intel pretty regularly from raiding resource points, which are more lightly defended.

Whats the problem? COD and BF have decided to cater to the Nicki Minaj shoot adhd FPS 12 yo kids, so there is an open goal in those who want a milsim.
