Thanks for the tip
Gotta Play methodical like a video game 🎮⛹️💯
I might quit basketball ball I've been playing since I was 8 but there is no local men's leagues in my area no Aau league in my area only the park and la fitness and I need a membership it sucks because it's my only passion and I wanted to do this as my job but I guess it's time to retire
The bright side is there’s millions of things to do in life besides basketball
@@amlacademy1426 not really especially when you've dedicated your whole life to the game I just play by myself I parks i just don't get the same thrill out of anything else I guess I can try soccer again
@@Isaiahvsthegame “basketball is not life it is a teacher of life”
@@Isaiahvsthegame If you have dedicated your whole life to the game you should have a pretty good feel for the game. Look at Coach Taylor or Drew Hanlen. They both wanted to be great players when they were younger. Instead they used their knowledge to create other oppurtunitys for themselves in the basketball industry. As an alternative for quitting basketball you can use your knowledge and experience to make money in another way than being a player.
coach i used to have panic attacks everytime i got the ball do you think its cuz i was thinking alot ? i cant figure it out
Probably because you weren't prepared with the ball in your hands, which made you believe you'd lose the ball, and you didn't want that =) But if it's no longer a problem for you, there's not much reason to think about it anymore - Simon, Team DeepGame
casual pick up games ! try something new
"I’m telling y’all. The fundamentals will set you free. It’s like the jazz records my pops used to play on Sunday afternoons. First you master the fundamentals. Then you get to forget about ‘em. You’re improvising. That’s why I always say: streetball is an art form. You feel me, youngbloods? I need to see more jazz in your game."
- Uncle Drew
Ur content is helping me on the process of becoming a pro esports player. Thanks!
How do I let go? How can I just not think about having to play good...
Whenever you notice you are thinking, just focus again on the game. Over time, you will think less and less.

Me, personally I like to say in my head, "I wonder what my next thought is gonna be" and enter a quick state of thoughtlessness. Whenever I feel a thought creeping in I just make sure I'm aware of it and refocus back on the present. This has helped me in a lot of stressful moments
Your mind is like watching News on TV. Turn off the device, and then open a window from your place. You'll see a peaceful moment of life.
Thanks for these 🙏🏿

Hello there, a question so when we play basketball we should not focus or pay attention to the game at all?
Actually, you should be focusing and paying attention to the game in as big of an entirety as you can. The point is to learn to move beyond focusing on your thoughts, not the game.

cool bro
What about team practice what should we do
A mix of both. When learning new plays, then of course more thinking should be done. But if you're scrimmaging or otherwise just drilling things, less is more.
