“It” is spiritual alignment with Truth, Love, and/or Beauty. You can have “It” and lose it. You can get “It” back.

Could you make a video talking about sitting out because of injury, and how to get over the fear of missing out when you are injured.

Hey Coach Taylor l was talking shit to a player who is one of my closest friends (he is a starter on my basketball team) I 1v1’d him and got destroyed 11-0 and we had a rematch and it was 7-0 and he got in my head with his trash talk, he was yelling in my face, telling me that I can’t guard him etc. And at one point he just stole the ball from me every other play. And I just couldn’t think in the moment, I was completely thrown off and not in the zone I was focusing so much on not letting him score, and that I need to score. My performance was humiliating. How do I get better at little stuff like this? I know you made a video on how to play against better players but how do I REALLY access this? I tried to came to terms that he is better at the game but it felt like driving while brushing my teeth. How do I not let the trash talk get into my head Taylor?

It'll take time, but essentially you observe how it makes you feel without becoming attached to it. The best way to practice this is by doing meditation, which we have a video on.

    That was Awesome.
    I am a senior ....
    Citizen.
    When I was young girl,
    I was considered "pretty".
When I was a young woman, the men called me "Legs", and told me that I was "Hot".
    Power Words.
    But..... Even back then,
I loved to look at velvets and satins, and silks. As I dreamed of my future....... As
    an elderly woman.
I'd remind myself that "someday" , it will no longer be about ME holding sway in a room full of beauties.
    Someday.... I told myself,
I Can be content to be walll paper.
I won't have to dress to impress
    Someday, I can just blend.
    Someday....
    I can just be
    My Self.... Genuinly.
And not fret over who does, or doesn't like "me".
Or what man in the room I can own.
They say " life begins at 60 "
    I promise you that,
If you make it to the Golden years of 60+..….
You will have the opportunity to meet
    YOURSELF.

Luckily, we can start working on knowing ourselves right now in this moment. We don't have to wait until 60, but still, it's never to late to start =) - Simon, Team DeepGame

Coach this is unrelated to this video but in previous videos you talked about how you meditate on certain subjects, events, topics, etc. I remember you talked of I think samari who would meditate on their own death. I was wondering about how you like to go about your meditation and if you have a video that could assist in my own meditation as I feel it could be helpful.

How do I get confident? I play on two teams, Local and National, on the local team I play free and loose, while averaging 15-17 ppg. But when I play on the National team, I play right and just wait in the corner to shoot wide open threes. Thanks

Could you be a bit more specific with your question? In what scenarios do you feel you lack confidence?
In general, confidence is built up by consistent results as well as consistently putting work in.

Can my point if focus in meditation be saying in and out in my head as i breathe in and out, for some reason everytime i try to focus on inhaling and exhaling i get unecessarily confused

    • @DeepGameBasketball
      @DeepGameBasketball  3 роки тому +1

If focusing on breathing is difficult for you, focus instead on different parts of your body at different times. Start with your head, and then move down slowly all the way to your toes, and then back up again. Definitely don't stay focusing on your head the entire time.
