Oh, come on, everyone knows there's a right and wrong way. If the artist is happy with their work, it's the right way. If not, it was good practice on how to get better.
Also, despite you claiming to not like TMM, you've got some of the best done TMM paint jobs and effects I've seen. Without going into the science of it, I really like using TMM like you would paint NMM, but using the metallic flake to pick up ambient light and make it just that much more convincing.. and that combined with your inks to give slight color shifts is just brilliant. Great stuff!
I'm considering using this method on the swords for my A Song of Ice and Fire army. I'm going to try some red to show slight reflection of their uniforms. Thanks for an awesome tutorial!
No worries, good luck and thanks for the support!
nice blades and a quick technique. I normally glaze over silver for army painting, but this looks a lot better. Thanks!
Thanks mate
great technique, nice way to practice glazing without too much pressure!
Looks amazing!! Gotta try this now!
These look awesome Liam.
Cheers mate, hope you're well!
Another great vid
Nice one, will try this method now on my Helbrecht. Wish me luck! 😅
Very nice technique!
Amazingly accessible tutorial, great work! Unfortunately, regardless of how much you emphasize that you did this as rough as possible to show that you don't need a ton of skill in wet blending, I'm one of the poor sods for whom ANY amount of wet blending is beyond my grasp 😅
I think these are perfect for table top level. Who paints a whole army to Golden Demon level? I guess beginners always try😂.
Thanks mate, i couldn't agree more
Do you have a list of colors you have tried glassing with and the colors that you have learned do not work ?
I've never found anything that doesn't work, just gives different results is all. Browns tend to make blades look dirtier is all.
Bro your vid would be wayyy better if you change your background music
Agreed, the new ones have something far more subtle. Cheers for the feedback though
All good, love what you’re sharing!
I made a mess
