    This is the best looking dry brush power sword I've seen.
    One small suggestion. Running the final center highlight could be done more easily by leaving the first piece of masking tap in place and adding a second on the other side - leaving a super thin gap between them to brush over. Perfect, crisp straight line.

    I'm actually not terrible at dry brushing so watching this has me believe that it's achievable. Especially since you go through the method step by step, showing the progress. I'll be trying this myself.

    I feel like drybrushing still has more untapped potential. It's one of the most forgiving techniques and is so simple to use. It's like the contrast paint of techniques.

    • @hmmm348
      @hmmm348 4 місяці тому

      @@JuanHidalgoMiniatures I just want add though, I think it probably takes pros like yourself to find these new techniques, because your standard of quality and speed is higher, so you're going to have a better idea if a new idea either won't work at all after an attempt or two or instead go "Hey, I should try to refine this, this might work". I'd wondered once about dry rushing swords a couple of times, but I have trouble sometimes with applying too much pressure with dry rushing. I originally assumed the paint just wouldn't handle it.
