The song is from 1997, the live is from 2023.
Thank you for another reaction! I enjoy your Dir en grey reactions a lot x3
I would really love to recommend The Blossoming Beelzebub or Otogi next in case you haven't heard those songs already :)
The Blossoming Beelzebub is from their 2011 album Dum Spiro Spero, Otogi is from Phalaris. There are a number of really awesome live performances of both songs on UA-cam and they are both very atmospheric/emotional songs that take on their own identity/feeling while performed live.
I would love to hear your take on them ^^
Great to see this reaction, I was in this audience! Yeah, it was last year 😊
That must have been incredible!! I hope to get the chance to see them live in person some day!
Their playing style is more defined here, compared to the studio version from 1997. Not only do they look older but their skills are more defined than when they were barely 25 back then.
Its incredible that they have all stayed together this long and I love the way the have an evolving sound, its like you never know what you are gonna get but you know it will be awesome!
I love that song, but i also love the jelous reverse version.
Hell yeah, we love our Dir En Grey reactions, thank you for this one 🔥🤘
Thank you too! Such an incredible band its always a pleasure to learn more about them and their music!
Nice! More Dir En Grey please
More to come! Glad you enjoy them as much as I do here is a playlist we have been putting together any suggestions for songs to add would be greatly appreciated! ua-cam.com/play/PL9bbDbJadtQhhrhhs18Cty6rx06zAZh2R.html&si=UqArMj_8-zeC0uBL
discovering another metal japanese band thanx a lot, as a anime and manga lover i've listend to many but NINGEN ISU still my favorite i hope you'll chek out this band one day tthanx dude and big up from morocco
I'm glad you dig them I really think they have an awesome ever evolving sound! Thank you for the suggestion I really appreciate it and I will have to check them out!
@@TheKillogicEffect I would like to second Ningen Isu. They became very popular with the reactor community with their song Heartless Scat but if I would really recommend watching them live and I honestly believe that everyone who has heard At The Mountain of Madness Live becomes an instant fan so I would recommend that one :) [Ningen Isu have been around since 1987 and this song was released in 1992 but it really conveys a lot of what they do and this performance is somewhat newer: ua-cam.com/video/DgTEKoYhAXg/v-deo.html ]
