Sadly, I missed Dir En Grey last month. They were touring in Europe to play two of their most famous albums. Two days in a row in each venue.
I wanted to purchase tickets but they were really expensive and I didn’t have much money at the time for it. When I was looking for tickets in February, the shows were already sold out.
I can say without hesitation that Maximum the hormone and Dir En Grey are my two favorite metal bands from Japan. And I was lucky to see MTH two years ago.

I keep hoping they return to the US soon. Saw them in 2019 at the House of Blues in Chicago. Such a great f'n show. Now that they finished their Europe tour I'm thinking it will be fall/winter this year or spring next year. I know Kyo hates traveling abroad, though, so who knows, lol.

This is actually a rerecorded version. The original sounded different, with very different recording style and vocal melody. I can't decide which version I prefer as they're both great in their own ways. I think it's because Kyo in the recent years discovered how to scream in the whistle register, and it was one of their more popular tracks, so I guess why not lol

I saw them last month in Warsaw, amazing two shows 😊. Last year, they did a poll on what album you would like to hear if we did a tour in Europe and the two most popular albums were chosen for the tour.

The pits in US tour for this song were so insane. Its their most played track iirc and its so good for pumping ppl up. Hopefully you listened to the original which was the gateway song for so many intl fans
