I've got a teleporter base at the cores of all 256 galaxies. I call it the No Man's Sky Intergalactic Highway. I'm not sure, but I think if you're in the Anomaly with me, you'll have access to them too...
Well, after a few hundred hours in the game I've learned a few new things. I had no idea that loot was better near the center of a galaxy. Thanks. Looks like I've got some traveling to do.
Been playing this game on and off for years. I sat down one weekend and followed a guide to do all the jumps to get to the 10th galaxy, Eissentam. I had a junk ship that was an S class that I used for jumping into black holes and centers of galaxies and I'd switch out my multitool before every jump. I used the portals to get near the center but I DID NOT KNOW that you could just use the first glyph to get near the center. Great info. I also made a base near the center of every galaxy 1 - 10 so I can go back easily. I also only recently learned there were 256 galaxies. I always thought there were only 10.
Thank you! This explains soooo much! I have 3 different characters who have gone through the story line. So besides Euclid, three different galaxies. Multiplaying has given friends access to these galaxies. But I did not realize there was a different proportion of types of biomes. Nor that better at center of Galaxy.
To avoid everything breaking, you can also remove all of the added upgrades from your suit, buy a cheap alternative multi-tool from anywhere to use, and grab a ship you can afford so you can salvage it later. ONLY the CURRENTLY EQUIPPED Suit, Multi-tool and Ship will be BROKEN. Everything else will be fine. So, just swap to the junk ship to make that last jump.
I'm in Budullangr right now. I've been finding more beautiful Earth-like planets with nice weather than I ever did in Euclid even though it's supposed to be an empty galaxy.
The WIKI use the term positive galaxies cause at one point you could go to negative ones using an editor, these have been corrected out, including further galaxies such as the legendary 257 which no longer exists. There are still on the other hand Phantom systems.
I like the feature because of the scale of exploration it opens up. I dislike the feature because the world already feels barren from player life because you don't find anything that's not yours in an instance. I quite like the idea of setting foot on a planet no one stepped on. Mathematically just the first Galaxy offers enough planets for that to be a thing but still. Knowing that there's An order of magnitude more systems in the game really sells the immersion.
this game would be so much more fun if it actually have some trippy sci-fi type storyboarding, with various stages of civilizations that are rare but discoverable across the universe. Like wheres my dyson sphere sucking up planet energy and stuff? Theres 18 quintillion planets, but the differences are rather small. This game has SO MUCH potential, but even with all the updates still seems to fall short. I do still enjoy playing though, regardless
Question: I have recently gone into Hilbert and then onto Calypso. Each time I have spawned very close to the centers. Is that ordinary? I enjoyed black hole jumping to the center of Euclid from 700,000 LY out. Now being so close to the centers of the others, I don't know what to do with myself.
@Hoxson1 I don't think it is very ordinary. Personally I have always spawn a fair distance away. Reap the awards of being so close? - see what's around you and what you can find/discover in these prime locations, or try to visit every galaxy? The universe awaits!
@@CasterPenn interesting, thank you. I decided to drive out 500k into Calypso. Right now with a fighter with 800 LY jumps. Might have to get a freighter, I think those jump much further with all the engine enhancements.
Just a question off topic but I thought you maybe able to help given you have played for such a long time. I just lost my saved game of many hours. It’s gone to a white screen. I tried turning off the ps4, deleting the saved data and then reloading the online saved data and nothing has worked. This does appear to be a common issue as I’ve used some of the suggestions. Do you have any ideas on how to fix it. I restarted a new game however, I don’t want it to happen again. I had invested a lot of time already. Thanking you in advance. Btw your videos have been really helpful as a new player. 🌻
@JCLOOTLADY that's rubbish! it's been a very long time since I played console, I can't remember this issue happening to me when I did. I dare suggest un-installing and re-installing the game if it happens again? I really hope it doesn't! - and thank you 🙂👍 I'm glad they helped.
Odd. I started in Euclid and when I went to the center, it took me to Eissentam. I went to the center there and I'm now in Aptakarba. That doesn't seem to go in any sort of numerical order like you said.
He also said that, through the story, you get 4 galaxy choices at the end. Presumably, if you chose green, you would jump straight to the first one to come up, which would be 10
@CasterPenn i want to atleast go into each of the 4 colors but now that I've done one I'm focusing on getting different ships (like the living ship) and trying to more understand other sides of this game. I've been trying to explore nice and slowly.
I uess that in Lore (I'll theoreise a little) **SPOILERS** for the main storyline: Basically because it's all a simulation, when you finish the main story, you are essentially resetting the simulation and launching a new one and you get a new galaxy. So if they wanted to be really lore accurate, they'd break and take away all of the player's stuff, but that would be too harsh. Originally there wasn't any other way to jump between galaxies other than through the center so this idea of reseting the simulation was even stronger. Also note how there's a chance for breaking tech when travelling through a black hole and the center is also some kind of gravitic anomaly so it would be weird if you escaped unscathed.
All those galaxies but after you visit 10 planets or less you have seen the entire universe same goes for anmials and plants and buildins making exploration pointless..the truth is this game is overrated

very helpful I was looking for the trick to quickly get through a galaxy for a long time. thank you
You're welcome 👍
The planets are in same repeating patern...
So for example Lush galaxies go like so..
10, 19, 30, 39, 50, 59 sort of pattern..
Tip you can go to the anomaly portal and go to any players bases that is in the anomaly. That's how I got to galaxy 256.
Good shout. Thanks
Be careful, some people are reporting 256 is corrupting their saves.

will the tech in the freighter break as well, though?
@@IvanoForgione No. Freighter tech will not break. Thankfully.
If you use an organic ship, it won't break when you go through the center.
Really? Did not know that. I'm gonna try it.
Also my Royal 7 Exotic survived 4 Galaxy resets flawlessly. Also the Exotic Multitool! Only my suit was messed up. But fixed in 3minutes
true that

because the universe's main feature is its uniformity. the rules are constant

M21 is the blue hologram ( what's said for the blue galaxy hologram? I can't make out the words being said)

Whats the logic behind breaking our stuff when going to another galaxy?
It's a way for the game to provide a consequence for this action.
