They are all active if in your ship, however there is a priority ordering, I do touch on this towards end of video and there orders, don’t recall them off hand.
I did this on the Xbone, but the game rendering could not keep up, okay with trees but mountains are a problem. even my PC has rendering problems at speed with everything set to ultra, guess you'll be hunting 3x (X)class 20 man engine modules, but It's fun having a Hauler that can haul ass like a fighter, but now made a curiosity as all ships have nearly the same inventory slots.

Derelict freighters can be found using an Emergency Signal Scanner, you buy them from the scrap dealer on a space station, or the way I used to get them is simply from shooting asteroids… lots of them and you will find them the free way. Expedition saves are fine to use as main account.
@@TheJestersDoor I think you missed some of it. These are as well as the upgrades, these do not replace anything, watch part 2 of this for a full build of all upgrades and the trails/ figurines.

@@lf9179 both, but is it still better than before you changed the setup to this style?
If yes, it’s win win 👍
Shocker...you can stack the buffs from the Artemis and Polo bobbleheads.
no, the shocker is that bobbleheads give buffs.
You'll still apparently get the bonuses from the bobbleheads if they're partially installed. So just fully install the one you want to show in your ship.
Thank you so much! Had zero idea about this! All the best!
@@KVAR42 thanks, enjoy 👍
At the beginning I thought you were joking, but wow! you were serious. But to be honest, I don't want to spend a whole supercharged slot just for 30% more manuverability. Still, this could be useful. Thanks!
Ideal for speed builds, after more tweaking I can go 890 u/s planet side, I love my speed.
I also have a 4 grouped SC ship stacked for dmg hitting 144k dps on infraknife, I use when I want to fight a pirate freighter etc. other wise it’s all about the speed for me.
@@TheGameHubNMSCan you Make a video and show the difference between travel speeds?
I'm still not convinced after almost 300 hrs, that speed actually changes anything.
@@robert9595 it does, you can see and feel it as well as the speedo telling you so on dashboard.

I thought they were cosmetics 😂
Ive bren digging my current playthrough with the new update.
Do you ise mods at all like nexus mods? I have wondered if there were any good game mods and how you use them.
Nice tip! I did know about this, but hadn't bothered putting it in my latest ship. Looks like I should do that!
Btw, can I ask about your pet in this video? Did you get it from an expedition, or is a wild animal that you tamed (and perhaps made smaller)? I have to say, it's one of the cutest ones I've seen.
It was a wild animal i tamed, there are 2 versions and that is the size it was and still is now, no genetics have been touched.
@@TheGameHubNMS Nice. I have a few thousand hours in the game and honestly can't remember seeing one quite like it before. I'll have to keep an eye out for it. Thanks for the info.

@@TheGameHubNMS Sorry mate, last night was crazy. I popped into your stream for a minute, but something came up and I had to leave pretty quickly. I did sub tho (love your content!), so hopefully I'll catch a future stream.
not only did I not know about this, I didn't even relise that quicksilver could be used to buy those things.
Well.. now you can go get that speeed
Wow great tip! Thanks Notorious!
It works! I had all the figurines but not the way you showed. That is so cool! THX!!!
Right! Enjoy that extra speed!
Greetings Traveler, in your video, you show 7 separate trails you acquired. I have purchased all I could, which leaves me 2 short. I have completed the Omega quests but not sure where they were provided. Do you know a way to get the last 2, which are the blue and the one above the blue trail? Thank you in advance for any response.
From Traveler NoNameCowboy.
Only via the expeditions that they were rewards in, they will eventually come back around.
@@TheGameHubNMS Thx. It's sad that I have to wait, instantaneous gratification pulling at my brain, but I'm patient.
@@nonamecowboy8077 yeah I get that, many feel same way.
I knew about this, just hadn't read much into it. I was saving up my quicksilver to buy everything I needed before I got bored of NMS and uninstalled. I'm back on it now for the expedition so I guess I'll go back to working on it. I'll favorite this video so I know where to place everything.
@@mrmalcolm check part 2 of this when you’re ready for best way to set it all up for max speed.

@@CubanLegend561 how so? And what ship are you using and what mods do you have?
Are you using just the + polo boost setup, or the whole kit for even more added boost?

Just dupe them

What's the off planet boost speed?. I don't have any of those items, but i do have pretty good pirate mods. My fighter goes just under 4k in space. Idk if that's good or not though.
I will check when I log on shortly and get back to you.
3,694 can’t remember if that was with engines diverted though, let’s assume it was though.
@@TheGameHubNMS hey thanks for getting back to me. You really don't have to though. don't stress about it, I know it isn't easy being a UA-camr. Anyway my sentinels go around 33xxU boosted with power to engine's in space, but only up around 440 on planet. 👍🏻
@@Armchair.extraordinaire-bo5mv I’m just a gamer with a channel to share my sh*t, always got time for comments 👍
At first, I thought this was a windup. But, after reading the positive comments, I was eager to jump in NMS and give it go. I use the Save Editor and have all the technology slots supercharged on my favourite Starborn Runner (IMO, the nicest ship NMS has ever had on offer). The results were astounding. Manoeuvrability shot up to over 5,800! Speed shot up considerably to over 10K! It only takes a few seconds to get into space from the surface of a planet!
How has this avoided being common knowledge? Thanks!
Watch part 2 for even more speed
Gonna be rerolling those X class hyperdrive mods 👍 GL
Absolute insanity, thank you!
Is the Atlas decoration the only figure that gives any warp range increases. I been trying to push my ships in hardcore to 3000 for some time?
Yes, just the atlas gives warp boost.
How do you get the 2 starship trails on the bottom left? (Blue one and scorching one)
They are expedition rewards

Temporal trail
Looks good on solar ships too
Question regarding the trail colors. If you have all 4 of the thruster colors installed how do you activate the actual color trail?
They are all active if in your ship, however there is a priority ordering, I do touch on this towards end of video and there orders, don’t recall them off hand.

this WHOLE TIME?!
Man, you just changed my virtual life. Thank you so much.
You’re welcome 👍
I just started playing NMS and you said if I had any question at all.... About the Lost in Space mission. I have one in log but IDK how to find the derelict freighter. I don't even know how I got the mission lol. Also my first save game is an expedition, should I restart a normal game first?
Derelict freighters can be found using an Emergency Signal Scanner, you buy them from the scrap dealer on a space station, or the way I used to get them is simply from shooting asteroids… lots of them and you will find them the free way.
Expedition saves are fine to use as main account.
What's the point of equipping the figurines when you can just equip upgrade modules with higher stat buffs?
@@TheJestersDoor I think you missed some of it.
These are as well as the upgrades, these do not replace anything, watch part 2 of this for a full build of all upgrades and the trails/ figurines.
