Thank you, this is MUCH clearer to understand than the very basic visual instructions from the QR code in your packaging! I was about to give this product a bad review because I couldn’t manage to set it up until I found the video. (The MG3600 was a lot sturdier and more user-friendly in my opinion.) Please, I urge you to add this video to your official instructions so people don’t get as frustrated.

I don't print from the rear tray due to space constraints. I used the front cassette tray only. Now it refuses to print from the front. It keeps prompting me to put paper in the back. I cannot find any videos on your website on channel to help. The QR code keeps directing me to instructions on how to load the back tray. Canon, please, please respond.

Why does Canon USA only show A4 (EUROPEAN paper size) ?! I'm having problems with printer recognizing LETTER size paper and none of the videos, manuals etc. shows me if I'm adjusting the tab correctly (blue vs gray tab in tray). The printer thinks it's out of paper and nothing I do can fix it.
Hi, Amanda! This is really puzzling, because all Canon printers designed for use in the US should have LETTER sized as an option. Sometimes it may be abbreviated as LTR and you may need to scroll up or down to see it, but it should be there. More info on paper settings can be found in the user manual here: www.usa.canon.com/support/p/pixma-ts6420 You can find all available tech support options for your printer, including troubleshooting videos from within your My Canon Account at: canon.us/account If further assistance is needed, you'll want to make sure your My Canon Account information is up to date and your printer is registered before calling into printer tech support to get further assistance. @@CanonUSASupport The QR code on my printer takes me to a video user manual that only shows how to load A4. I was wondering what to do with the gray tab in the paper tray and everything on UA-cam is also A4 paper!! After many many many many many attempts and re-loads/resets I somehow got the printer to read/accept the printer tray as full. No idea why it worked but for now I guess I'll keep the printer.

This by far is the worst printer i have ever used. Nobody wants the rear tray, I wish it had never existed, cassette we want the paper to load from the cassette. Why does this always have to be an issue with this thing. I dread ever having to use this thing, its a nightmare every time I turn it on. When the ink runs out I'm going full office space on it.
Hi! You'll want to make sure you're using the right type of paper as paper that's too heavy or too light can cause feed problems. Your PIXMA TS6420 is designed to use sheets of plain paper from 17 to 28 lb (64 to 105 g/m²). If you've verified this and you're still getting the same result, then we recommend talking to our PIXMA support team. The TS 6420 does not even look like the TS 6420 sitting in front of me…..how many varieties of this garbage did Canon make?
