How to Print from Back Paper Feed Tray Canon Pixma TR7020 TS6420

This is a quick video on how to set up your printer to feed paper from back feeder instead of main tray on the bottom. The printer default settings are that the tray at the bottom, which is called the "cassette tray", is set to be the main printer tray when sending copy or print jobs. Sometimes you want to use the rear tray for printing and copying. That may be because you want to print over a printed page, etc. It is much easier to just throw the piece of paper you want printed to the back tray and have it print on the page facing you. To make your printer use the back tray for copies, see this video. To print from your PC or smartphone, you will need to change settings on the device after you change paper feed settings on the printer. We show how to do that in this video.

I figured it out. I use a Mac. Under print preview. Go to media and quality and select “feed from”

I would love this, too. If sitting in the living room, I have to go to the office to turn the printer on, then go grab the print. No big deal energy/effort-wise, but when you're working and busy and time crunched...
