With the help of some gold (of course) to glam it up, I will take you through all the steps it took to bring this buffet back to life. Let me know what you think in the comments!

This piece just converted me into a gray-loving trash to glamorous treasure freak! The color choices are perfectly complementary ... and of course, you gotta use the golden gilded wax. Has inspired me in so many ways. I think we are all looking to make things beautiful these days & this ... made my heart sing.

I think it was well worth putting the work into!! It's nice to see pieces that need a little extra love instead of just change the paint color and done. I love that this video taught me how to fix that broken corner. My husband and I had just decided to try our hand at furniture flipping and had picked up 6 larger and several smaller pieces to refurbish and see if we could actually flip them for a profit.Sadly he passed so unexpectedly before even one piece was started. He was the Master Carpenter and I have the creative painting gift. At retirement we were to combine our skills and try a new business. So now I need to learn fixes like this one so that hopefully I can carry out our retirement dream alone. For that reason alone I very much appreciated this video. Thank you!!

@ Mary Smith I wish you the best of luck. I was in a similar situation at a very young age. I didn't have the self confidence I have now 50 yrs later. You can do this. UA-cam is a wonderful resource. Anything you need to learn is here. Wish I had such wonderful resources 50 yrs ago. Who knows where I'd be now. I might be repairing sails in Costa Rica. Our plan was to do fiberglass boat repairs and I would do sail repairs. Once our boat was paid off. Then we planned to retire early.

Thankyou. I take positive encouraging words anyplace I can get them. My support system is basically nonexistant. It has been 18 weeks since his death. I also pray for strength and confidence for myself. 🤗 @@jcrefasi1 Then you

Kacha, I absolutely ADORE your videos! All of your work is beautiful, but the amount of fun that you seem to have with your projects is infectious and inspirational. Taking a piece of furniture that would've been headed for some secondand store (at best) and turning it into an elegant masterpiece, while enjoying the process - that's pure magic! 🌟 I also loved hearing you say, "It may not be the right way, but it's my way and it works"! Having a solid base of knowledge, following your instincts, and taking well-deserved pride in your work are the things that make your videos such a joy to watch. Best of luck to you! ❤😍💖👍

I don't know if it was worth the money and time you put into it, but I do know that you kept a piece of furniture from going to the lanfill and from that standpoint it is worth everything, Maybe you wont make a lot on this piece, but you will give maybe a college student or a young person decorating their first apartment a piece that will bring them joy to create happy memories with that maybe they would not have been able to afford otherwise.
