- This week we are going back in time to an old technique. I finally learned how to get that authentic chippy look with @amyhowardathome Milk Paint! It definitely requires a few steps but I think the end results are well worth it. I hope you guys enjoy another extreme furniture makeover!

Girlie, you are hilarious. It makes watching your tutorials all the more fun. You are an amazing visionary artist. That takes real talent to see in your mind what you know the piece is going to look like once you get your hands on it. God bless silly girl, and keep on sharing that sunshine. Oh, and I wanted to say a huge thank you to your sharing of ideas and talent with chalk painting. You were the first artist I came across that was showing the awesomeness of what can be done with this amazing paint. It opened my eyes to possibilities with old furniture I had planned to just donate as I got brand new stuff. Now I have sought out second hand pieces that are interesting to me, and have started out, FINALLY, lol, their transformation. It is intimidating, but the forgiveness that chalk paint gives you if it is not looking like you had in mind is what has lead me to even try doing this myself. I am having fun with it, and it is giving me a big motivation to get out of bed and fight this illness that keeps me in bed most of the time. Its taking me forever to get my first piece done, but eventually it will be finished, and I will be proud of the fact that I have accomplished something during a time in my life that I feel like a prisoner in my own body. So thank you for your creative process being shared online. You just never know how your videos can touch people and cause positive effect. You have an outstanding day, and thank you once again for making me laugh along with everyone else while we learn amazing paint hacks from you.

Hello again from Greece. Great video. I have to tell you I woke up about 2 months ago also obsessed with gold. So i changed all the hardwear in my furniture to mat gold and i love it!!!! Also added gold touches to all the boxes i made... Yes its the year of the gold!!!
A beautiful transformation, however the previous one wasn’t bad either but this gave it a new life. Love the gold on the hardware

Any video that has Duke in it is a good one. He's so handsome. At first I didn't like this piece, and I thought it was getting worse as you went, but OMG when you were done, it was something I would even have in my house. And I am normally not a fan of chippy style, because it rarely looks real. This piece is amazing now.
