You will have Derek Proudmoore showing up on your doorstep. Despite Baine and Zellig releasing him, I bet Sylvanas' dark ritual already had effect.
To be honest, if Kul Tiras does not burn Derek the moment they see him, they are written stupider than BFA standards and thats saying something.
And then we realized the Alliance treat Derek as an enemy and Derek shares the similar fate as Lilian and he comes back as a new forsaken member.
Yuen Mangus he actually treated well by Jaina but for his own safety she travels with him to Netherlight temple to Calia.
Alliance got the anduin quests in Legion, just play both sides for the story and get double the content :)
The last time anything 'happened' Alliance side Varian died.

So Sylvannas was never meant to be warchief. Conclusion, one of the old gods just pulled a fast one.
What trouble me the most is that Eyir shares less than what she knows and she might have a clear idea of what happened, or at least who (or what) returned Vol'jin as he is
I am really sick of Eyir's attitude. Especially as a Warrior who was HER SUPERIOR, being the champion of ODYN, HER BOSS. I mean, if I want to, I can kick her out of her little temple.
I can't help but feel like Helya whispered to Vol'Jin because she wanted Sylvanas to side with her...
That would also mean Odin brought Vol'Jin back to the living, explaining the "touched by Valor" part Eyir mentioned, and how he's "neither undead nor damned". He's a Spirit that was imbued with the Light so he could return to the world of the living whenever he wants. A Light-based undead like Calia is now.
Unless Uther is the one who resurrected him...? We're supposed to see Uther this xpac but haven't yet... Maybe they planned for us to talk with his spirit on the Alliance side but scrapped that content, who knows.

Helya hates Sylvanas for breaking the pact/deal she dosent want to be double crossed so no Titans are not as dumb as humans and lesser evils
...? Notorious... Helya made the pact with Sylvanas AFTER she was made Warchief. Also, Sylvanas didn't double-cross her, she failed because Greymane got involved and broke the lantern, so if anything she'd want to back the Horde in crushing the Alliance so she could harvest their souls.
Also how are you going to say Titans aren't dumb when clearly they are...
Aman'Thul, who supposedly could see all of time, made the Bronze Dragonflight. Which turned upon itself and made the Infinite Dragonflight for the sole purpose of breaking time and making it incomprehensible. The titans made a bunch of highly advanced robots and golems and gave them all the collective knowledge the Titans had accumulated at that point, then just left the planet unattended so the Old Gods could take over their creations and break out of their prisons. Then the Titans are surprised.
The Titans are no different than Humans in WoW. They are created from both Light and Void. They have flaws but are too arrogant to admit it.
Sure, they're more INTELLIGENT, but that doesn't mean they don't do dumb shit.

@@xLetalis I personally think that the Void Lords are now playing with Tyrande. Besides, N'Zoth needed this kind of distraction more than the Void Lords, since his return seems to be closer, and playing with people's mind is the classic Modus Operandi of the Old Gods.
My theory is that (considering the three sisters comic) it was something titan or light related, maybe even azeroth herself, that opposes the voidlords

All Vol'jin needs to do is find a place tainted with dark magic, where ghosts of the fallen fight a great battle. He has to save their souls and his memory shall return!

You'd think she'd be reasonable, especially with how she treated the undead whenever Garrosh sent them on a suicide mission, and Sylvannas stopped him. Apparently not.....

Kel Thuzad and sylvanas woking together, that makes absolutely no sense. Why would Kel Thuzad risk it all when he knows Nerzhul is still corrupting Bolvar to a point where he is about to break and become another lich king?
because this could lead to a fracture in the horde where sylv is kicked out of the horde and takes many of her forsaken with her, and they have to go join up to northrend and ally with the lich king. 3 factions! new races of undead (geist, vargul, ghoul)! and three sided battlegrounds! Going to revolutionize the game
@@SurgStriker The Lich King would never ally with Sylvanas and would only convert her Forsaken to his will with ease, and if that does happen don't be surprised when Bolvar does a power move and kills off Sylvanas and rules over the Forsaken along with the Damned.I for one would like to join the Lich King's faction.

I think it’s been long overdue for the voidlords expansion. They’re only enemy we have yet to truly face in its full power.
Seems pretty obvious that it was Odin that brought him back. And if he's involved then it's also obvious who wanted Sylvanas Warchief since we saw her make a deal in Legion.
Sylvanas went from badass Warchief that everyone loves to literal Garrosh 2.0 real fuckin' quick.
Even Blizz can't come up with a good reason for why Sylv is warchief /shrug
Honestly, folks. This absolutely has to do with Sylvanas' deal with Helya back in Legion - directly or indirectly. Yes, it can also predictably be related to the upcoming Old God situation, but that little discussion we listened in on an expansion ago was never fully followed up on unless it was only related to the lamp. It would be a ballsy move if they made it so that Helya/Odin influenced this situation for Sylvanas benefit and would throw a lot of fuel on a pretty bad flame.
the problem is that Helya gave her a deal AFTER vol'jin died and she became warchief. Maybe she told Helya to do this whole memory blockage thing?

The writers have been chimps since early wotlk at least. Sylvanis entire story was to get revenge and she wasn't even involved in killing arthas or icc at all. And the flying Dutchman must always have a litch king
well they screwed that to. Cause only paladins, death knights, and faction leaders should know about Bolvar. Also the "Champion/Champions" who enlisted in the fight in northren. Since they are the "theoretical" group that help defeat the lich king.
But the Death Knight deathlord stuff shoves that out the window. So yeah, shit dont make sense.

No, the new Lich King revealed himself when he sent his death knights to attack Light's Hope Chapel in Legion, hundreds were there to witness.

It would make no sense if voidlords or old gods were behind her rise to warchief

Undead are NOT immune to the Void or Old Gods, thats a very widespread myth.

The old gods are servants of the void but they are still beings with their own schemes and desieres. N'Zoth could have made Sylvanas warchief to start a war between the alliance and the horde (Sylvanas doesn't need to be void corrupted to be a pawn in this plan)
The being who brought back Vol'Jin might have been a completly different one than the one who helped making Sylvanas warchief. Vol'Jin might have been brought back to bring chaos into the Horde (so that in theory N'Zoth just needs to fight the weakened Alliance allone) but the more likely outcome is that an enemy of the void brought him back.. something light/life related.
@@MrVlad12340 Exactly. And in the comic the void tells Alleria to kill Sylvanas, but it's also told her to kill Turalyon, Anduin, and basically every important character she comes into contact with. The whole theory surrounding the void and undeath has nothing to stand on, at all.
It's actually Canon that the Void cannot whisper to Undead, because of the impure connection of soul and body. Was in a book based around the Lich King. That doesn't mean the Undead don't ultimately serve the Void, as the one thing they fear most is dying again... Well, and the excruciating pain they feel when the Light touches them. They'll basically fight against Life and Light just out of instinct, unless a higher power (Lich King) controls them, but if he was corrupted BEFORE becoming Undead then that changes things. Or if Bolivar is not technically Undead...? Although I would think having Ner'Zul in the helm is ultimately what makes the LK immune to whispers.
Anyways TLDR; Sylvanas is supposedly immune to Void whispers as she is Undead. She's also very easy to manipulate because of how afraid of death she is, and how paranoid she is at the Alliance.

I’m willing to believe one of the Burning Legion members with a high rank whispered to Vol’jin in hopes of aspiring to take Sargeras’ place and continue his work. You know, because he died in a place that is surrounded by the power of a titan with fel energy that prevents the assistance of divine or loa intervention anyone worships to. Why do you think Tirion died so easily there? He had a wound inflicted by a Burning Legion foot soldier and that it somehow greatly influenced him into making the decision on his last breath. Question is, who is that high ranking member?

So the Horde gets a storyline with Saurfang and a storyline with Vol'jin. Two whole extra storylines, even if they are brief. Why doesn't Alliance has any extra storylines? You could argue Alliance got an extra storyline on Broken Shore with Anduin, fine, it would even out, but now Horde has one more over Alliance. Blizzard better has one for Alliance ready :/

We could have gotten our own questline with Tyrande and Malfurion, but no, they had to make Horde's counterpart in Darkshore for the warfront. We could have gotten a questline about Turalyon, one of the founding heroes of the Alliance, but nah, they stuck him in the warfront. Hopefully we get our own questline with Mekkatorque in 8.2, and Calia later on...

Uh may I ask why the banshee are still at her side? Didn’t Genn dealt with that problem?
If I remember correctly, she was after the light of Elyir, a magic lamp that would have allowed her to subject more Val'kyr to do her bidding. That's when Genn ambushed her, destroyed the light, and took an arrow to the shoulder. After that point, which was in Legion, she still had her three Val'kyr who remained loyal to her. Currently in BoA, she's done to one left, meaning she can cheat death once more.

all we know is he wants the warchief and said so bluntly to Talanji. but Queen T. refused, and the question remains unanswered ( until 8.xxx?) and could be just nonsense from the story writers, who never figured out the results of such an exchange.
@@bindair_dundat He said it himself - balance. Lording over Talanji doesn't really bring that, even if he isn't opposed to war (death). Sylvanas is a huge variable - and we all know how Bwon does not like people who encroach on his job-description, so having that threat cut out and going back to balance would be a net-gain for him. He doesn't have to lord over Zandalar, they'll die in time regardless of his station among the Loa, hence he's so patient and playful. The only time you have seen him truly concerned is when Vol'Jin's spirit was initially shown as missing.

For the word comments saying nerzhul is taking over Bolivar your wrong.arthas was never in control nerzhul only let him feel like he was but in truth it was always nerzhul but now with frostmourne shattered and most of the light kings armour destroyed nerzhul remained only as a shattered echo in frostmournes pieces which death knights clear out so no we aren't fighting him.blizzard probably wanted us to think this if they do go with this direction I would rather be disappointed cause talking with a prince is ackward as it is but an old timer would b really bad.
Plus kel thuzard serves only nerzhul.at the end that's y I feel nerzhul existed cause it was him who commanded kel thuzard.also syvanus doesn't have much to do with lk anymore.

Vol'jin needs to man up and take responsibility. He 'may' have been influenced to name Sylvanas Warchief, but if the words came from him, it doesn't matter in the eyes of the Horde and the Alliance who whispered what. The deed is done and nothing will take it back.
i think the words came from him and period he did said way before hes death that one day she will rule the horde cus the others are cowards ... also they wont accept an blood elf to lead

this is such a bad excuse to make a reason why sylvanas became warchief. They’re just trying to find a reason to make vol Jin look like a good guy 🙄. It made sense more in legion and why he even gave it to sylvanas, but there were no hints that the shadow actually took over vol Jin’s body.
