- In 2018 I traveled on all 3 US Major carriers International Long haul flights. Let's have a detail look of the lounge, seating, food and beverage, service, sleeping amenities and ground experience on US Airlines international flight offering currently. I also compare the travel classes including American airlines business class vs United Polaris Business Class.
Check out which one is my favourite and why.

Fly SAS business class flights the best in Europe.
I agree after taking United from Chicago to Hong Kong. Now ANA is still better overall from my personal experience to Asia, but price wise the United product was well worth the value, and they had an amazing staff on my flights. I haven't done a USA-Europe flight yet with a US carrier, but I am curious how they stack up to British Airways and Virgin Atlantic since that is who I took when I flew to London in the passed.

That attendant on American Airlines face fell flat when you said the food was bad. I was impressed with what you showed about United Airlines. I think I am going try flying with all three and experience it for myself. I have been flying with American for over a decade. Great video and keep it up.

I appreciate how United is trying to get themselves together after the PR disaster.
PLEASE! the people who bash them were stone cold quiet after Southworst dragged a passenger off for throwing a fit. If United did the absolute exact same to her, Black LIES Matter would be suing United for "racist" treatment. And United's flight attendants didn't do it. The AIRPORT security attacked and threw him off. For some reason, Southworst can "do no wrong." Even people who have been "rebooked" for the SAME reasons as United don't get mad at Southworst. But if they flew United, they'd act like their firstborn was slapped.
Amazing thing is that the PR disaster actually happened on republic airways, who operated for united, but ual still took the kick in the head

@@jacobthomson5368 I'm a frequent flyer also, but in some instances I have taken UA or AA because for one instance, when I fly Qatar airlines they partner with AA so it's pretty much mandatory on some flights. I avoid AA and UA as much as possible. I have another a couple of flights with Delta coming up in a few months months👍

I recently flew on Delta in economy from Minneapolis to Amsterdam. I found the flight to be really nice. The crew made me feel welcome and at home, the food was pretty good, and the seat wasn’t too bad.
On the way back to Minneapolis, I had a layover in Atlanta and flew on an A321 from ATL to MSP. The seat was comfy and that crew was very nice. I have a growth disorder and need medicine to grow, but the medicine needs to stay cold in order to work. My family has a little cooler to keep my medication cool but the cooler didn’t work as well as we thought. We asked a flight attendant if she would be able to keep it cold. She took the matter very seriously and did what we asked with much care. It made me feel that Delta really cares for their customers. That is why Delta is my favorite US carrier.

For me United is #1. Was my first flight to Asia in 1987. I love their route system (even now) and that they serve Guam, Saipan, Philippines, Federated States of Micronesia and Marshall Islands. Love that they go to India. Closest to Pan Am of the US majors in terms of route system. Love the Polaris product and the 777-300ER. Had a wonderful flight in Polaris BOM-EWR.

EXCELLENT point about treating your flight attendants politely! It is much, much, easier to get great service when you are polite and welcoming. They’ll go above and beyond.

C'mon. Pick a favorite, Sam. I think you either enjoy United or Delta the most. You like United because of your history with them and their ground product at SFO. It seems like you really preferred Delta's inflight product. Delta has really good long haul crews out of DTW.

I've always preferred Delta over the years, but United has really stepped up their game when it comes to the lounge experience. Hoping it will translate to the onboard experience next time I fly.

ryan hineman my mom works for American Airlines! And I love it.
My dad is a pilot for Skywest, and because of that, I get United, Delta and Alaska free. Aside from the bad stuff that has happened in United’s past, they really have had a solid hard product. They are a good airline if you actually fly them. I also love delta as well. They have a professional foundation and are awesome. Alaska is awesome too, but don’t have these big flights yet, but they are good enough to have one in the future.

Been flying delta since I was 5 years old trans-pacific and it's my favorite because even if we fly economy every time, the staff always treat us nicely and even give us free stuff if we compliment them.

Sky club in Narita is terrible. Fly star alliance and use the All nippon lounge which tbh is more crowded but you get a lot more nicer food choices.
Delta doesn’t have a flagship lounge like. Not worth comparing. Clear loser on lounge department.

Delta lounges are awful! Their Atlanta hub is a dated mess and sorry, but Delta has the WORST food and so-so wine selection.

In Delta, I liked what I saw from the seat, and the foods authenticity. In United, I liked that their food was also decent looking, and must’ve tasted good, as well as the Sundae’s; also I like the fact that they have lounges before and after flight. What I liked in American Airlines is the fact that they had Dr Pepper on board 🤤🤤🤤

Delta looks to be the best, Also on economy class experiences i have heard from. I still think though that all US carriers in both economy, business and even first class are not comparable to the major Asians Airlines, which are much much better
Delta to Miami from New York on the Airbus was much better than American / United. Good legroom!!! Enough toilets!!! And TV screen unlike American and United.
well american carriers are running business where asian airlines are running brands... you don't want to invest on asian carrier. they make little to no profit.
@@jkjkjk100 I would say Delta is a bit of an exception. They are a business, but it appears that Delta cares more about its customers, and I think many frequent flyers have noticed.

I say from an improvement standpoint, Delta has made the biggest leap. They used to be absolutely abysmal but have realized that United and AA will snow them in if they don't make a noticeable change in all classes. They seem to have done that while AA have made the smallest improvement.

United Airlines is very nostalgic for me because they still use the Continental Airlines livery which was the first airline I ever flew with, but nowadays I prefer Delta.

All 3 airlines have improved by a lot and to be honest all 3 are very good on long haul routes. However, I must say that while Delta wins in terms of food and service most of the time, they need to step it up in regards to their loyalty program.

American. They always treat me right. I’ve had Gold status for a couple of years. Service has been consistently good. I also fly other OneWorld carriers - British, S7, Qatar, Finnair - all with equally good service. Thanks for the video, Sam. Keep up the good work!
Amazing Video Sam! :) I do like the UA 777-300 and the Delta A350-941 but it has to be United it is cool looking.
I love love loveee the Polaris business class seats on United. Recently flew FRA-SFO on United’s 777-200ER retrofitted with Polaris seats, in Polaris, and can’t say enough good things about it!

I would be interested to see a video of the Qantas First Class seat on the A380, it’s now practically a 10 year old product and when I flew it last year it was very underwhelming with no caviar course or anything like Singapore Airlines although the First Lounge experience in Sydney was faultless with a day spa etc but no car service included because it was Singapore round trip and not all the way to LHR

Economy sucks. There is nothing special to it. Just an uncomfortable seat and crappy food. Business class is the way to go.

I’ve had good and bad experiences on all 3. I would say United is the most complete in their portfolio of offerings/amenities, network and loyalty program combined. Followed by DL then AA.

Can't go wrong with United or Delta. I always thought Delta put out a good product especially back in the 80's and their aircraft was the L-1011 a beauty! Now it has been United for me the 777 SFO/HNL and service was superb. Thanks for your input and happy travels Sam.......
This is a lucky story:
So once I was going from New York to Atlanta in a Delta flight. I was already cranky from no sleep so I wasn’t looking forward to a no TV flight even though it was a 1hr 30mins flight (this was 3-4 years ago). So our Delta flight got delayed by 4 hours and we were priority passengers. So what the people did was that they gave us a plane of Delta that had BUSINESS Class so they gave us 4 seats. It was my first time seeing this and tbh, I was shocked to think Delta ACTUALLY had Business Class. The TV and seats were great! The food was okay but I can’t really remember the details but all I remember is that there’s a business class in Delta and I hope that I can find a flight that has Delta business class for domestic flights.🛫💺
I used to have such a bad impression of Delta, specially cause they still fly the old A330s to Brazil. This video made me wanna give them a second chance and experience their brand new A350
unfortunately delta will not use their new A350 to brazil... I go to brazil quite often myself and do not understand why they won't use the A350 planes
@@OzzF16 because Brazil doesn’t meet the range of the a350 capable of. And probably not so many people are flying to Brazil. Waste of space and fuel

@@drewfwieuriskfi trust me I know I go to brazil often and they use the same 27 year old A330 plane, and it's at the point the delta one prices for that is just insane and not really worth it anymore, same goes for anywhere in South America, they should consider adding more of the new A350 flagships more internationally

I have flown American consistently my entire life and have status with them. They’re a very enjoyable airline with great amenities, seats and experiences.

All of the airlines have tremendous lounges, I have a long haul flight in June (San Antonio-London with connections) I’m just wondering it an economy passenger can get in to any type of lounge. If anyone knows please tell me because I really don’t know.
