Once in a while, there’s a Back Issues book where I have to pause the video, binge read the series over a few hours because Sal convinces me the premise is really intriguing within 20 minutes, then come back. Another win for ComicPop today.

Infinity War (comics version) did have a "buddy road trip movie" with Doom and Kang bouncing around reality...except they legit hated each other.
I remember seeing a video about that story, my favorite part is how they kept trying to backstab each other.

One of the best parts of that whole story lol.
Giving Doom the ultimate nullifier makes all of the sense, he could never really use it as it would destroy his greatness, but you can imagine him up every night trying to unlock its power safely.

To be fair... he learned a lot, he just wasn't allowed to keep it learned because characters aren't allowed to permanently change in comics unless they do something awful,

Thats why though I used to dislike that pronunciation Im cool with it now because I think the MCU did a great job of explaining and incorporating it into the story.
I reject that reality because it's stupid, the timeline makes no sense and pretty much every Aztec god demanded human sacrifice. Also basically every other version of Atlantis shown is based on ancient Greece/Rome.

I like the idea that every Mistress Death in the marvel multiverse just gets together to watch and make sure they have fun and insane character deaths to talk about.
I remember this coming out, and the last section of this comics was honestly my favorite thing piece of Doom media to read and tell people. Seeing his personality against Richard's being supportive was so funny to read. And that ending is the pettiest things I've read in a while that truly says, "yep, Doom would totally do that."

To be fair, Ultimate Nullifier was used in Fantastic Four run against space god and it didn't result into destruction of reality, more like rewriting it where main target is erased. So yeah, it is focused based.

😅 I've always wanted an opportunity to yell "FOOLS", without it seeming forced but... If you get a chance to call everyone fools, it's wasted if you can't unload "Fools! You've doomed us all!"... One day, I'll get my chance.

BEST DOOM RUN OF ALL TIME. I found this book by accident a couple years ago on Marvel U and by good this is some great doom writing. Honestly his insecure moment with Reed right as he was about to save the world and then fucks up cause doom thinks Reed is playing him. If you want to know who doom is as a character... READ THIS BOOK.
I liked within seconds because of Ben’s DOOM chant😂 But also, every back issues about Doom is great👍🏼😂💚 I like the green shirts for the episode, especially Ethans🦔

Blue Marvel is one of my favorite obscure Marvel characters that has yet to get his adaptation glow up! I think if they did it well h could be a great addition to the MCU. A character like Brashear could help flesh out the injustice of the era Isaiah Bradley is from.

I did not expect to see this series on Back Issues, but it is dumb stupid fun. I can’t help but think Doom riding a bear is fucking awesome lol
I love this book and wanted more. I kimda wanted it to go another few volumes to really flesh the story out, but i always enjoy Doom, and this one was fun. The stuff with Kang was great. I'd like to see more Kang and Doom stories.
Literally re-read the Ben Percy issue of Wolverine where Maverick first shows up as a former member of the old Team X with wolvie and they make sure multiple times that you know he is Agent Zero. When you said Agent Zero attacked Doom in this episode I straight spit taked

1:10:24. That just looks like a modified Halo warthog. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if it is cause I think this is the artist same who kept on putting Warhammer 40K Vehicles in marvel issues. Like, one for one sometimes, not even bothering to modify the vehicles. He did that even Before marvel even got the licenses to make 40K comics.
It's a real shame that they undid Doom and Octavious becoming heroes. That was genuinely interesting status quo for those characters

To answer their question the reason Death didn't spurn Thanos because he snapped half the universe (it was her idea to instruct him to kill half the universe) the reason she spurned him was because Thanos tricked her. Her intention was to keep him as a subordinate but when he got the gauntlet he became her superior on the cosmic hierarchy making her his subordinate. It didn't have anything to do with the universal genocide aspect of it. (Funny enough Thanos never intended to wipe out the universe he just agreed to it so he could trick Death to let him get the gauntlet and then he decided to do it afterwards because Death wasn't accepting of him)
I'm getting a sense of deja vu with this episode but I don't remember where I heard something like this before
The problem I see with a black hole on the moon is that the time dilation would totally screw up the Earth at least as I understand them from many astrophysics channels I watch on UA-cam. But, I guess if Ethan mentioned nothing i could be wrong.
There I was, thinking this story was pretty fun, and then Sal drops there's another story with Doom and Iron Man fighting a Venom-infested Santa.
