He knew I was allergic but thought it’d be funny to rub it on my face. Eye swelled up, sneezed a LOT and teacher suspended him when I went to hospital, I was terrified it hurt so much I passed out and tbh thought I would die (I WAS IN THE SECOND GRADE OK XD) ! But anyways I got out a few hours later and I was okay but he got suspended for two weeks and I haven’t talked to him for 2 months.
@@gabyyfahmy8562 something pretty similar happened to me in middle school. I used to have anaphylactic responses to oranges. It was airborne from the second you peel it and the oils get in the air. Anyways. Kid at my table peeeled it and my eyes started puffing up and I started getting hives on my neck. I ended up running to the bathroom and basically shoving my head under the sink and the girls who were in there had treated me like shit since kindergarten. They blocked my exit and laughed when I was choking and asking them to get the nurse. When I finally got out I called one of them a bitch. The next day my mom and i went to the counselors office to report them and she tried to file a counter report saying because i called her a bitch i was also in the wrong. Long story short school took her side because I was the only goth at that school and she did sports, and her dad owned a plane. I left the school a few months later. We tried to get the school to pay for the emergency EpiPen at the er and they refused. Shit school, shit people.
Teenagers and kids are naturally curious and do not understand whole the consequences of their action... Hope there are more adult that keep educate them and people in general about how severe food allergy can be.

I have a peanut allergy. I am okay around people eating it, but if I eat it myself, my throat closes, and I suffocate to death within 20-30 minutes. When I was in high school, I fell asleep on the school bus on the way home. I woke up to something hitting me in the face, and when I moved, dozens of Peanut M&M's scattered onto the floor from my body. While I had been sleeping, two girls in the seat across from me thought it would be funny to try and throw Peanut M&Ms into my mouth while I slept. If I hadn't woken up, or if one of them had successfully landed one in my mouth, I could have very well died on that bus. But all they did was laugh at my horrified expression when I realized what happened, and then go back to their own conversation. It haunts me to think of what could have happened.
Right?? Imagine this scene at school: - ahah you’re allergic!! YOU’RE ALLERGIC!! AHAHA - uhm yes...yes I am..so what? - ahah!!!! - I am allergic, yes, so what’s the point? - .... That’s so stupid 🤷🏻♀️😅
I was bullied terribly all growing up for my peanut allergy. I had people tell me to “shut up and go eat some peanuts” or “I’m gonna smear some peanut butter all over your face” repeatedly throughout so many grades. Mostly by boys. I was in constant fear of dying during lunches. I don’t recall but my mother says that in about first grade a boy tried shoving a peanut butter sandwich into my mouth. He got expelled and never came back to the school. I have always carried epi pens. I just wish people understood it’s not a joke
I'm not sure if its the same for peanuts, but my younger bro was deathly allergic to eggs but he's grown out of it slowly, he can't have an egg but he can have it in things like in cake now
I remember back in middle school kids who had peanut allergies were isolated in the cafeteria, they had to eat in a separate table. I dont really remember but i think those kids were actually teased just bc they had to eat separately or by themselves.
Lunical Yah, you’ve seen way too many movies. That’s not something real medical professionals recommend or would do, even in emergency situations. Just stabbing a pen into your neck isn’t all that has to happen for that to work, you have to not only cut open the neck, but you then have to cut into the trachea to insert it you can’t just jab the pen in, which is extremely dangerous because if you cut too big of an opening in the trachea it won’t be airtight and it’ll just make things worse, or when you’re putting in the pen it’s very easy not to know how far or hard to insert it so you can easily puncture through the other side of the trachea.

I have a traumatising story about this.
K so I’m allergic to bunnies, sadly :( (I can pet them quickly though, but my eye swells up if I’m too close to them for too long) and a boy in my class bought in his bunny on take ur pet to school day.

David Basa I never knew about having the trachea cut open. So scary.
