What would you do when you think no one is watching? What Would You Do? (WWYD?) explores the varying answers with the help of hidden cameras capturing individuals who have been placed within seemingly everyday situation that quickly go ary. The individuals on this hidden camera show are forced to make tough calls when directly faced with situations of racism, violence, hate crimes, and other hot button cultural issues. Catch John Quinones reporting on these individuals as they make split-second decisions to intervene or mind their own business. WWYD? airs Friday nights at 9|8c on ABC.
What Would You Do? (WWYD) is a hidden camera show, hosted by ABC News correspondent John Quinones, in which unknowing bystanders are placed in uncomfortable, and often compromising real world scenarios in public. WWYD’s hidden cameras focus on the average person’s responses and reactions to these issues of social responsibility. Topics such as gay couples being affectionate in public, date rape, racism and racial profiling, interracial couples, abusive parents, drunk driving, and harassment of the homeless are touched upon in this series. What will you do? Would you choose to intervene in these situations? Watch and join the discussion.

This is actually my neighbor and area, we have (for the most part) a really good caring community! Just two months back I had some thing very traumatic happen out in public, and at least six members of our community stopped to try to offer any sort of help they could! 🥺🥰

This could actually be a plot. Creepy paid guy tries to coerce a girl, the actual predator pretends to save her from him, gains her trust, gets her to go with him instead.
That’s true but these people offering a seat to her aren’t going anywhere. They’re in a public area and they’re not offering to bring the girl back to their houses. It could seem a bit odd but in this situation I think I would invite the girl to sit with me and tell her why it would have be wrong to leave with the man then make sure her mum/dad whoever knew where she was

This is a great show! Sometimes, even though we know what the right thing to do is in these scenarios, we don't know the right way to go about it.
One time i was on the train going to visit my cousin, I was twelve years old, and this super creepy guy sat down next to me. chatting me up, asking really personal questions, getting in my space, and i was terrified, but this one lady came up and just snapped in the guy's face, "what the hell are you saying to my daughter, you're in my seat". i didn't know this woman, we weren't related, obviously, but the man grumbled, got up, and left at the next stop. and then the woman sat down next to me, asked me if i was okay, if he touched me, did I need to borrow a phone to call anyone, if it was okay if she sat there until her stop. she possibly saved my life. I'll never ever forget that.

This is honestly horrifying that no matter how old a person is whether it’s a kid, teen, or EVEN an adult no matter male or female, predators will always prey on them and they can still be gullible. To make it worse, a lot of parents do not teach their kids to say no to dangerous situations like these and they end up getting abducted or there is no adult supervision upon watching them not paying attention to their child. These are real-life scenarios that happen every year and parents must take it seriously to protect their children. It takes 15 seconds or less for an abduction to happen and once the kid is gone and they disappear, they’re never to be seen again and their parents are not there to save them. Like who knows what could happen to them either if they get killed, rapped, assaulted, or EVEN trafficked. The important key is to keep kids safe and teach them the dangers of child predators.
As a woman in the music business, the amount of people who would try and pull the “im important” card to sleep with me, especially when I was a teenager was truly sickening. It still happens in my 20s too

I’m over 30 and out at a bar awhile ago. Just being nice to this man. He kept trying to get me to leave with him. I couldn’t say no, or tell him it was making me uncomfortable. I had to go to another person and ask them to tell him no for me.. and asked him to act like we were leaving together just to get the man to stop pressuring. How an earth can some guys not feel in the wrong if they talked to a young girl. On here its easy to think, oh I would go up to him and tell WTF are you doing,maybe what an earth instead as using appropriate language whilst a young teen is present.
