      Yeah. Some people decide that instead of being a normal person and coming up with something funny that’s actually worth a lot of likes, they decide to be as cringey and dumb sounding as possible. I’m assuming that most of the obvious, cringey comments are just a kid who stole their parents phone or something.

      TWENTY ØNE MISTAKES true. But the part when she said “let men deal with it” is the reason why people dont intervene. They always wait for the next person to do so, preferably men. I get that women are fearful that the man might go off on them, but when you’re in a crowd you have the advantage. But what you’d said is understandable.

      @batkat0 Рік тому +76

      Maybe. But parents look out for their kid first and foremost and a domestic situation can become violent. You don't know if he is armed and what he's willing to do. As a parent, the last thing you want is your teenager getting wrapped up in an abusive situation where they could be harmed or killed, especially since there is no guarantee that it will fix anything. Abusive relationships are complicated and people struggle to leave even when their own families are trying to get them out. A stranger isnt likely to fix it in one afternoon.

Everyone just reacts to things differently there aren’t many downright “wrong” approaches especially to situations like this🧐🤷🏾‍♀️

I tried to intercept, he punched me straight in between the eyes, I went down like a rock. He broke my glasses in half! But when I came to, some real men had seen him punch a girl in the face and had pulled over to take care of him. Crazy night! BUT, I would do it again in a heartbeat! No grown, mentally competent adult should ever ever utter the words “abused for years”. Unless you were held against your will, you CHOSE to stay in an abusive relationship. Abused for a month and then you left? Sure that’s all on him, but stay for years??? Sorry, but you were an enabler to your own abuse.

    • @adrukova1407

      @@alexblaze8878 I somewhat agree with that, especially if it happens in the U.S. where there are so many resources and help for abvsed women.
      But it's also not that simple. Some people have deep self-esteem issues and abvsers take full advantage of that... it's evil.

    • @alexblaze8878
      @alexblaze8878 Рік тому +1

      @@adrukova1407 oh I agree but she still enabled the abuse. IMO, some abusers also have “deep, self-esteem issues” but that doesn’t alleviate them from blame nor does it give a pass to the woman who enabled their own abuse.
      I say this with the experience of someone who grew up with a very violent father who abused my mother almost daily. I hate my father for what he did but I also can acknowledge that my mother had her own part to play in refusing to leave him even when she had the means and the clear opportunity to do so; she once inherited a large sum of money while my father was working out of state for 4 months and STILL wouldn’t leave him even though I pleaded with her nonstop. Worse, she stayed with him as he abused us four kids also (even after he violently raped my 15-year old sister that suffered from Downs Syndrome) as well as molesting me along with physically abusing me from as far back as I can remember: I often walked around with scabbed- over welts from a razor strop he was fond of using from my lower back all the way down to my ankles. As much as I loved my mother growing up, as an adult with wisdom and maturity I can now see where she absolutely enabled the abuse he dealt to all of us.
      It’s one thing to endure abuse being done to you, it’s an entirely different and inexcusable thing when you allow your children to be subjected to that abuse.
      [wow, this turned into a “tell-all” story-sorry about that).
      I’ll cut this short by saying when I was 14 I made plans to make sure he was no longer wasting valuable oxygen (to state it delicately). Fortunately I backed out at the last second and ran away from home. Was taken in by Child services and eventually adopted by a kind family and the rest is history.

She keeps going back because she feels he'll change. I understood why mostly women intervened because we understand and no one deserves to be treated that way. As soon as he said to her "that's why I cheated on you" the guy turned around and walked away. I guess the guys felt like it wasn't their business. Her mother however scolding her for doing the right thing, I don’t know how I feel about that. If it was my son I would be so proud of him even if I was worried about his safety. She got in between us and let me get away
    We were in separate cars that day!

    That young lady was raised right. Usually I feel like I would do 'the right thing' for the cases this show comes up with, but this one really got to me because in these cases I actually do hesitate. I've seen people get really abusive with their partners and it's really scary & intimidating, so I really applaud the people who overcame intimidation. Some people are crazy & we just feel like they could also cause us harm. It would be really tough for me to know whether to get involved or not. I applaud people for being so brave.
